Super friendly and helpful host. She was very organized, friendly and clear with all instructions, very accommodating and helpful with ask aspects of our vacation rental. The property was big and comfortable for the 5 of us. Would book this stay again if they’d have us.

Our group of 9 friends overall enjoyed our stay here, the property is spacious and cozy and in a nice neighborhood for skiing at heavenly. Only 1 bathroom downstairs when there are 3 bedrooms was a negative.
The start of our trip was soured however by poor and rude communication from the host as well as (as we had to discover ourselves), a broken hot tub. The check-in process is pretty old school. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a fairly rude host who tried to chastise me repeatedly for missing earlier calls & voicemail. Overall tone was very aggressive/rude and was pretty shocking to arrive to.
After the host left, I did the first thing I always do and immediately check the hot tub to make sure it was clean and hot. The location of the hot tub itself isn't great. As I checked, my heart sank -- it was very cold. When a whole group of people fly from across the country for a ski cabin weekend, the first thing you want to do is have a working hot tub. I hoped that this was just inconsiderate hosts by not ensuring the hot tub was turned on and hot for our arrival, and I set it to 104. I tried contacting the host, but no response. The next morning it was still cold. What followed was an extremely frustrating day trying to get into contact with the host to get it fixed. After long delays they finally acknowledged it was broken. There was no apology about it at all and they only said "at least your lights working and you have heat".
We would never rent from these hosts again.

This house is large and can easily accommodate up to 10 people.
Bunk beds were a little unsafe as one of the top bed collapsed and fell through the slats. In all fairness the owner did come and repair the slats.
Several pieces of cookware in bake where we’re dirty when pulled out of the cupboards.
Downstairs bathroom sink drained very slowly. Thankfully we found a large bottle of Drano under the sink so this does not appear to be a new problem. There was a huge wad of hair in the drain in the downstairs shower that I was disgusted to find before I took my own shower. Looks like the “cleaners” didn’t do a good job.
Throughout all this the owners make you meet them at the property for a “check in” process and sign a bunch of documents like “Code of Conduct” and take an extra security deposit at time of check in. This house is just “okay” and really not worth all this extra work and trouble.

The property was ideal for a group stay. The layout in which the living room and well-equipped kitchen are in one open space was perfect for a large group all spending time together. The house was very clean, the property manager was helpful and communicative, and the location was perfect for getting to South Lake.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. There is plenty of space to spread out and ample beds and bathrooms. There is a trailhead up the road where kids can sled and play in the snow. Having a garage was great too. It was nice to just pull into it and unpack the car. Nice place!

Great experience with the rental. House was clean and the snow was plowed. Property managers were easy to get in contact with if needed. Overall a great stay.

We really enjoyed the property during our recent family vacation. Towels were an issue as they provide 1 towel per person and we did not locate any extra towels anywhere. Property lacked some of the extras that we have enjoyed on previous VRBO stays like family games, beach chairs, beach umbrella. For a property that accommodates 10, there is only dining seating for 6 and a table out on the deck for 2 with additional seating at island. Very small, useless area downstairs could use a sofa and television for kids to hang out.

The house was spacious and comfortable for our party of 8 adults in a good location and neighborhood close to great trails. I would definitely recommend this house. It is not golden brown outside as in the picture though, it is now a light wood color.

I would say the stay was "average." Overall I am not going to overly complain, though for the money I spent to stay at the house, I would have expected a home in slightly better condition. According to the landlord, they had a rowdy crowd rent the house before us and they caused some damage. The damage was obvious, the blinds in the family were removed, a blind in the downstairs bedroom was broken, a toilet paper holder was broken in the master bedroom, the handle in the master bathroom bathtub was broken, the refrigerator didn't produce ice (which the manger said he would drop by with some, but never did) and there were smoke detectors removed (though according to the manager there were others in the home, which technically he was correct). Again, by themselves, I wouldn't complain, but many of these items can be easily fixed. I will be looking for another place the next time I head up to Tahoe.

First impression of the house was that it was very nice and on a quiet street. Empty space behind and across from the property. Easy check-in with Amy with a quick walk through. BIG beds but comfortable. The kitchen was excellent with lots of space. Plenty of towels, soap, blankets to use. Will definitely want to stay here again on our next trip!

We had 10 people stay at this property. In general, everything was as expected and it was comfortable. A few things to note is that there is no place for a 10 people to sit together at a dining table. The table accommodates 6 people. The check out process was a bit more involved than my experience in that the renter has to strip down beds and empty all trash. However, the manager was responsive to text messages if there was anything needed. The place was very clean.
