About this house rental
Permit # 24-00662
Asbury Park is such a dynamic beach town! There is a thriving and historic music scene, a more recently established (last 20ish years) LGBTQ community, and a BEACH. This house checks all the boxes:
1- BEACH- IT'S 2 BLOCKS FROM THE BEACH!!! It is actually the first house from the beach. In the two blocks between the beach and our house sit the Stone Pony and Porta (YUM!). We can see the ocean from the balcony off the primary bedroom.
2- Gay- We are a queer family and pumped to join this community and share our home with other queer beach babes. (Please note: Straight-identifying beach babes also welcome.)
3- Music history- We bought it from the previous owners of the iconic venue, the Stone Pony, which is at the end of our street. In the early 2000's, Bruce Springsteen would close the Stone Pony and come back to the house to continue playing!
As a nod to our house's history, each bedroom celebrates NJ born musicians and the history of Asbury Park from different decades. Much of the artwork is from local artists (and some available for purchase!).
Inside: 6.5 bedrooms: 2 King (one on the first floor), 3 Queen (One on the first floor), one Full and one kids room with bunk beds and toys. There is also a living room, dining room, kitchen, office + 3.5 bathrooms.
Outside: Huge wrap around porch with table, chairs, and most importantly a grill. We recently added a side patio with a luxe size outdoor sectional!
Other important deets:
All linens and towels, including beach towels, will be provided. We will also have a couple beach chairs, sand toys, beach bags, etc. and 6 beach season passes available (12 and under are free).
Check in time is 4pm, Checkout is 11am.
PARKING NOTE: We don’t have any off-street parking spaces, unfortunately. Thankfully, everything is super walkable and all the parking around the house is metered (which is actually good because there are more spaces available than when it was free parking). You can stay around the clock for a pretty reasonable charge. There is also free parking two blocks away where you can drop the car a little further out and leave it.

Nice location and good owner communication. Would have appreciated knowing that there’s a major long term construction project going on diagonally across the street. Noise although bearable, is ongoing from 8 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday. The entire house could definitely use some TLC, a really good deep cleaning and some paint. Parking is challenging and gets expensive throughout the week as we had three cars for our family.

Such a welcoming, comfortable house! Worked great for our big group of friends, plenty of space for each of us to be comfortable and for all of us to spend time, cook, and share meals. We loved the big porch and the open front room/dining room. And a fantastic location, so easy to just pop down to the beach for a swim or to walk on the boardwalk.

We had the whole family stay at this great house and we enjoyed every inch of it! The patios, the living area, the kitchen etc. And all the beach stuff we could have ever needed was there to use as well. The beds were also super comfy. Thanks for all!

The house was well-appointed and in a perfect location. It’s a quick walk to beach and boardwalk and the beach is very clean. There was plenty of room in the house for our big family and our only regret was not booking it for another night or two! We would definitely book again!

Stayed here on Memorial Day weekend with friends. House is big and in a great location with walking access to many bars, restaurants and the beach. Would recommend for larger groups.

This house was the perfect spot for a group of me and my friends to stay for a weekend wedding at Porta. It was clean, big and modern. Stephanie was super easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond when one of us left something behind. Would definitely recommend staying here, we want to return and stay during the beach season!

The house was perfect for my guys weekend. We have been doing this for 17 years and this house by far has been the best in comfort and location. I hope Stephanie will let us stay next year.
Easy walking distance to anywhere you would want to go in Asbury.
I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.

We rented the house for the weekend as we were getting married a few blocks away. My fiance and I and our 6 kids, and my sister and her family stayed and there was PLENTY of bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was GREAT! There were toys and games for the kids, and the kitchen was well stocked. The outside areas were great to hang out on & the hosts were wonderful!

Super close to the beach and boardwalk, it was so well decorated, very cool light fixtures, loved all of the outdoor seating, the homeowners were great to work with, adorable neighborhood. I chose this property for a weekend spent with friends who all recently turned 50. Everything about this property was perfect. Comfortable, plenty of space, outdoor living (spring weather was great), proximity to restaurants, etc.. The owner was in constant contact with me and extremely attentive to our needs. It felt more like 5 star concierge treatment than renting someone's home. I can only imagine that in the summer this location is even more amazing with a very short walk to the beach. The home is an older renovated house with tons of charm which I really appreciated. If you are looking to stay in Asbury for any amount of time you can't go wrong with this property.

We had a great time in Asbury Park this past August. The house was clean. The house is very beautiful and spacious. It was very comfortable even when we had family over a couple of times during the week.

My partner and I rent a house in Asbury Park every summer. We always have a great time but this year was extra special thanks to this perfect location and exceptional house. We could have sat on that front porch forever! Stephanie was a tremendous host and couldn’t have been kinder.
