Edwardian terraced house in Salcombe, sleeping eight in four bedrooms.
Shipwrights is a traditional, Edwardian terraced house with accommodation arranged over three levels, extended and refurbished to a high standard. Explore the nearby unspoilt sandy beaches of North Sands and South Sands, and revel in the stunning views across the estuary to East Portlemouth and Millbay, amongst other enticing coves just a short walk or passenger ferry ride away. There property sleeps eight in four bedrooms. On the first floor is a family bathroom with bath, shower (over) and on the second floor is a shower room. There is a small but cosy sitting room, an open planned area with well equipped kitchen and utility and the rear of the property is a good sized area of wooden decking with table and chairs and garden area. Shipwrights is an ideal base for one or two families or couples looking to enjoy this beautiful area.

Induction hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, tumble dryer, washing machine, toaster, kettle.

There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.
