1 Combehaven is a three-story townhouse within a luxury gated development only a short walk from Salcombe’s restaurants, pubs, upmarket shops and beautiful waterfront. It has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and sleeps eight. There is an open plan kitchen and dining room with modern granite worktops and an eight-person dining table, a living room with a coal-effect gas fire, two generous sofas and a balcony. Outside is a garden and terrace with a table and chairs, plus wonderful views over the town and estuary. 1 Combehaven is a lovely townhouse for families wanting to be close to the heart of Salcombe without compromising on space. Parking for 2 cars.
Amenities: Gas hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave.
Fireplace with a coal-effect gas fire.
TV, DVD, Ipod player.
Parking for 2 cars.
All bed linen and towels are supplied. You will need to bring your own beach towels, tea towels and oven gloves. Strictly No Smoking. Please note: Boats and trailers are not permitted in the car park. Designated parking strictly for two cars only
Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.
