All the other reviews are accurate. The smell of weed is really strong but fantastic location, communication, and clean property.

We had a good stay and the lodging had all the things we wanted. A good option when staying in town.

The room was exactly as expected for our annual guys ski trip. It was close to restaurants, grocery, and Park City. The place was very clean and plenty of room for the two of us.
5.0
The location was great. Easy to get around Park City from this location.

This was perfect for us and our son while skiing at the NAC. Comfortable, clean, on the bus line, central location to everything. Would stay again!
5.0
It was very easy to get in as the condo has combinations at front door and the condo door. The rental agent answered our questions promptly and repaired a broken blind immediately. The beds were comfortable. There were four of us so two slept in each of the two bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and the condo is directly across the street from the bus line making it very convenient for getting to the slopes and the old town.
I would stay there again.

Clean, comfortable, our favorite place to stay!

As we know, Park City is having a cold 2022-2023 winter. This unit had the fireplace shut down since deemed unsafe and the furnace out. Didn't know about either issue when booked. After booking, I was contacted and told the furnace was out but was assured that the portable heating units would suffice to keep condo warm. What a joke as any serious effort to heat up unit, would trip the breakers and turn off the power to the entire condo. When the maintenance worker came by to assist, he indicated he was surprised the unit was even being rented as it had been known for a long time that there were serious heating issues.

This property was a great little home for a few days in a wonderful location about 5 minutes from downtown! Highly recommend!

Our stay at this rental unit was below okay. There are a few things that could have been better communicated with us and with more time.
Our stay was from Feb 28th to March 6th and we had 4 people total in our group.
ITrip is the company that manages this rental unit and they informed us on Saturday Feb 25th at 10:30pm at night that the furnace was out but would provide space heaters. We were told in email it would be comfortable 70-72 degrees and it was nowhere near that. When using the space heaters we couldn't have the lights on without blowing a fuse. There is a fireplace but according to email received on Feb 25th, the fireplace did not pass inspection and it wasn't safe to use. A chair broke one of the supporting beams as soon as we sat on it on our arrival date. There was an extreme smoke smell on the unit as soon as walking in the place. For the "Free Ski Rental" with explorie you have to book with 4-5 days in advance or else it won't be covered (This was never stated on any emails from iTrip management). This should be clearly stated in order not to try to scam customers. VRBO listing had reviews of furnace being out from a previous stay on Feb 18th, still didn't communicate this with us until 2 days prior to our arrival and additional reviews since Jan 2022 of fireplace being unsafe to use.
When we communicated all of this with management they did apologize but didn't do anything to help us come with solutions.

For a two bed two bath midseason it is a really good value. A bit of noise from upstairs and some wafting up marijuana smell from downstairs did not bother that much. Mngmt company did a very good job overall.

I stayed in the location due to proximity to a conference at the Sheraton. This, location was great for that. The yellow 5 and red lines stop right outside the building, so that was great. The furnace wasn’t working on arrival, but it was fixed the evening of the arrival after feedback was provided. I noted prior reviews of the smell of marijuana. I assumed it was due to neighbors present use. However, it wasn’t. It must be in the carpets or wall paper. You get used to it, but initially it gets your attention. Would still consider staying again .

Communication was very good! We got a friendly message after check in to make sure all was well. They were very responsive. We enjoyed our stay in spite of the dated appearance of the complex, no TV in the 2nd bedroom, the persistent smell of marijuana and noise from neighboring units. Highlights: The very short walk to the bus stop, a clean place, comfortable beds, positive interactions with owner.

Everything was nice!
4.0
This experience was enjoyable - I loved the location, the communication from iTrip throughout my stay, and the keyless entry to the building and condo. The walls and ceilings are super thin so you’ll hear your neighbors and smell whatever they are cooking but it’s manageable as far as noise. The building is a mix of residental & renters - everyone was so nice. I felt very safe!

Okay
Was disappointed had to lift toilet tank cover and jostle chain EVERY time flushed. Smaller bedroom needs blackening shades as too much light in from hallways outside of room to sleep. No recycle bin was also a disappointment.

Stay was fine. Clean place and a good location.
Disappointed hot tub was closed for "maintenance " the entire time

Basic, but functional and clean
The condo was clean and had everything you need. The building is old and dated, not very sound proof. The hot tub area sadly left a lot to be desired and we didn’t end up using it. Overall it served the purpose of a place to stay near the resorts. We also didn’t use the ‘extras’ of rental equipment and such, but a good perk if you want that sort of thing.

New Claim 302
Unit is worn and dated. Both beds, bedding, and towels were very good. Mgt company responded quickly to emails and unit needs.
Otherwise: all appliances and furniture worn. Internet is non-existent-worked about 10min per hour. Cable TV is non-HD, so small pic on an already small TV. Walls and ceiling are thin, so you get to hear everything around you.
There is a USB outlet in kitchen for cell and iPad charging which is nice.
Location is good for driving or bus to slopes or old town.

Park City New Claim
Great convenient location. Only issue was wifi not work nor did the fireplace, but they refunded me a night's stay for my inconvenience. Vey quick to reply with any issues. Is a bit noisy, especially from upstairs when walk around. Otherwise for the price, just what we expected.

Would not stay again - Weed smoking, Russian prison style building
Do you enjoy the smell of weed permeating through the walls and vents from neighbors? Or the fresh smell of weed while trying to enjoy the “open concept” hot tub when the guy directly next door opens his window to smoke weed and blows it out with a box fan? Then this is the place for you!
Pros - Location…just over a mile to the Park City Mountain Village Parking lot. This unit provided a free ski/snowboard rental per day via Ski Butlers which is very close. Has W/D in “master room”.
Cons - Weed smell everywhere. Russian prison style building design. Hot tub in the middle of the building. Thin walls…bunch of partiers smoking weed and making lots of noise. Fireplace says “unsafe to use”…not a big deal but should be disclosed on the rental description. Parking…you will get an email asking you to print a parking tag out, complete the form, then e-mail it to [email protected] - I was on the road and didn’t have access to print a parking pass. Secondly, I emailed Lauren but got no response. I called the customer service number and text but nobody could answer my concern about parking. So once I arrived, I called the unit property maintenance who told me, Lauren hasn’t worked there in a long time. And that I would have to drive to their office to fill out paperwork for a parking pass. What a mess…renting a unit should be easy and a parking pass should be left in the unit so you don’t have to print, scan and email to use the parking pass. I was able to park in the lot right outside the entrance (Lot D) without having to do any pass. You can’t park on the streets without a permit. Internet - completely unreliable. We just turned the Wi-Fi off all our devices and used our cell provider signal.
As for the unit…dated for sure. The owners are probably nice people who just happen to have a unit in a crappy building with less than desirable property management oversight. I would not stay here again and if I was here with my wife or kids, I would’ve had to leave the unit. This trip was just a few guys so it was tolerated.

Nice lodging, good location.

Decent stay
Pros:
1. The property managers were very responsive via text, excellent service. The toaster broke and they replaced it within hours.
2. The bus stop to Park City resort is right across the street and Main Street is an easy ~15 minute walk away.
Cons:
1. The rooms walls & ceiling are a little thin. You can sometimes hear neighbors talking faintly. It seemed the guy above our unit walked with concrete boots on.
2. The hallway bedroom receives so much light from the atrium at night that even with the blinds fully closed, the room is never fully dark. Adjusting the slats to point up or down doesn't make much difference. This could be a Pro for those that like to sleep with a night light, but for those who prefer a dark room, the extra light may be annoying.

New Claim is conveniently located for a trip to Park City/Canyons, with a free shuttle stop right across the street. The condo is well sized and stocked for two people for a short stay but two couples would probably find it quite cramped. iTrip was easy to reach and quickly addressed any problems. The floors are thin and the vents are connected, so you will hear your upstairs neighbors walking around and your bedrooms will reek of weed if your neighbors toke up (which they did every day we stayed here). THIS UNIT DOES NOT HAVE ITS OWN INTERNET - you can only access the main building's free wifi. The signal is super spotty and doesn't reach throughout the condo, drops out frequently, and is insanely slow (2.6 mpbs down when I ran a speedcheck). If you need internet for anything other than checking the weather or lift status, bring a hotspot.

It's an outdated condo.Very hard to get issues fixed in a timely manner since they have a chain of middlemen in between you and the condo operators. convenient for skiing park city as the bus route is just outside.

Family Christmas
The property was in a great location. It was clean and had all amenities. The sofa bed needs attention or maybe a new air mattress. The hot tub was out of order and in a weird location. The elevator went out one day so that was a challenge for my handicapped husband. But over all an excellent place to stay and super kind people to work with.

Perfect Location
This property was exactly what we were looking for. The best food we had the whole trip were 2 restaurants (Fuego and Grub Steak) within walking distance. Thank you for adding to a great trip!

The unit was clean and was a advertised. It is worth the money that I paid. It is a budget condo.

Nice place and location, but noisy
property was nice, convenient access to public transportation, and not far from main mountain and town. Only issue we had was the noise level above us-woken up each AM around 5:30 with kids running around. also, screens in windows do not block out all the hall lighting in one of the bedrooms-need better blinds or turn off lights after a certain hour.

Great apartment
Booked online - very easy process. We found it to be a great place that had everything we needed. It was clean & comfortable. We didn't have a car but it was not a problem, we just used the bus. We loved going to the hot tub after skiing/boarding. Management co was easy to reach. Wish we could have stayed longer!

New Claim Condo
When we got to the condo the sink was coated with a black sludge and water had flowed on to the floor. The internet didn’t work. It was more frustrating then useful. Park. City gets hot in the summer. Do not rent a condo that does not have air conditioning.

Poor service.
We arrived to no heat and the property repair man didn’t want to come! It was after midnight before we had heat. We sat with coats on for over an hour. No available parking but we had two passes. The sofa bed was more spring than mattress. The noise in common area made one bedroom difficult to use for sleeping. It was less than what we expected. We wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone.

Condo adequate but needs clean carpets and better WiFi and TV
New Claim 302 is an OK condo for a short trip to Park City. The location is good. We drove a rental car to the Park City Mountain. The free shuttle bus had long lines and delays while we were there during New Year’s week, This condo had several problems during our stay. The carpet in the main living and dining area was very stained and needed cleaning/shampooing badly. There were only 6 place settings (knife, fork, spoon) of silverware and it was mismatched. The WiFi is terrible; it seems to be provided by the building and is woefully inadequate. We could only connect to the internet 1 day and that was very slow. Most other units in the building seem to have their own WiFi and don’t depend on the provided WiFi. The cable TV is very basic and is not HD. The pilot light in the gas fireplace went out. We reported the issue and never heard a resolution. The appliances and decor need updating. We enjoyed our trip to Park City but would not want to stay in this unit again. We have stayed in another unit in New Claim and had a better experience.

Unit 302 was advertised as having a washer/dryer.
Unit 302 was advertised as having a washer/dryer. It was also advertised as having underground parking and WiFi. It has a broken washer/dryer and WIFi and while it has underground parking, they would not permit access. The advertised amenities are a bait/switch. I would not recommend staying here if you need these amenities. It did not warrant $360-night

Space & Comfort, Well Cared For & Very Clean!
The condo was excellent – plenty of room for everyone, well maintained and a great location. It was comfortable for our family of 4 and we were able to prepare any meal. From this place, we were able to drive to Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley or Canyons Resort in minutes and my kids were thrilled to have some daily lessons at each ski mountain. We would definitely stay again and would recommend this property.

Great Park City Ski Trip!
The unit was very clean when we arrived and it was complete with amenities that we were able to use. We were so close to downtown Main Street and were able to walk wherever we needed or just use our rental or the bus. If you’re looking to visit in the winter or summer, I would strongly recommend this property and the management team.
