Very disappointed in Marriot

At 11:00 pm I had to go out to the lobby and ask a group of people to quiet down as they were talking loudly while relaxing in the lobby. The desk clerk was nowhere to be seen. They should have asked the party to quiet down. The breakfast was horrible. Went at 8:55. There was absolutely NOTHING. All of the chaffing dishes were empty, no waffles or muffins. Literally everything was empty. No 2% milk so I used half and half, it was spoiled! The muffins were cold and inedible. You have to toast your waffles, they are cold. No syrup, empty.

mediocre breakfast

reserved a king bed room. found out in the room that it was 2 queen beds. Spoke with front desk and all they would say is sorry. Spoke with manager and got the same response. Since we had booked the room through a third party and were not Marriot bonvoy members they did hold the room but gave it to a Marriot rewards member prior to our arrival. No word prior to our arrival and certainly no word from the manager that checked us in when we arrived. Poor communication and indifferent, too bad, attitude from management when I expressed my disappointment.

Neighbors were loud, our shower water wasn’t hot enough. The first night our a sink kept backing up, but they fixed it

It was pleasant.

The beds are always amazing. The room was also great with pleasant staff to greet you.

The breakfast was terrible. The coffee was cold and fresh oatmeal would have been better than bagged. Also, the breakfast attendant was of little help and in the back on his phone when another guest asked for his help. I also have no idea why I was charged for parking.

Disappointed was not given what I reserved and paid for.

Cleanliness. Spacious.

Reserved room with deluxe king bed room. Was given double queens. Needed and reserved king since I’m 6’6. Was told “sorry” and “this happens sometimes”. Sounds to me this could happen again. Don’t want to stay at Fairfield with this type of arrangement.

This was our first stay at a Fairfield Inn. Every thing was fine and I am sure we will use the Brand in the future

why charge $10.00 for parking? Just makes us have to move. Why not reserve spaces for check ins etc. and then lets us move on our own.

Overall it was clean, quiet and close to freeway access.

Close to freeway and it was exceptionally quiet.

I wasn’t impressed with the front desk clerk upon check in. Not no real people skills or just having a bad day I guess. Not a welcoming attitude. No hello or welcome to the property. Just business, breakfast hours, and here’s the key.

Too much stinky cleaner smell. Market was ridiculous expensive.

Nice place to hang your hat while passing through.

The hotel and property were clean. Nice, inviting lobby area. Pool area was very appealing. Staff were nice. Breakfast was very adequate. Overall some nice upgrades throughout the property. Room and bed were fine.

I think we had a bit of a hard time finding a parking space.

Camarillo doesn't have a lot of quality hotels, but this one is definitely one of the better ones. Breakfast was ample. Beds and room clean and comfortable.

The hotel is very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Great location to visit other cities.

Nice and cozy

Carpet clean & soft on feet after walking all day. Beds very comfortable. Continental breakfast had hot food (eggs, breakfast sandwiches) + already premade waffles in plastic, just pop in toaster. A lot less mess.

Had to pay $10 per night for parking. Swimming pool right outside lobby with huge windows where everyone can see you.

I always stay at Marriotts b/c I’m always satisfied with all the amenities. The location was perfect.

I enjoyed and appreciated the staff, the vibe, the friendly staff. I have nothing to complain about.
