Location was convenient, close to a great restaurant that our host recommended. The water pressure in the shower was great, with plenty of hot water.
The bed was in dire need of a new mattress. The a/c cord didn’t allow us to fully close the window so there was street noise at night. The house did have the musty smell that some old houses have.
This was our first experience with a B&B, and it was disappointing especially for the price.

Super friendly host greeted us at the door and made us feel at home. The room was so beautiful and the entire place was full of antiques and wonderful things to look at.

Warm welcome. Handy location.
Very noisy street. Orange mold on shower walls.
Too much furniture packed into room. Overpowering smell of air freshener in room and bathroom.

Breakfast was all breads and muffins. No hot option or healthy chooses.
Bed mattress was old and hard on my back. Other guess voices travel outside our room very clear. Beautiful old bath tub but paint was chipped and old bath Matt inside tub.

Very close to everything
It was a room in a house. Easy to hear other people. Several cats inside. Would have been nice to know, as I’m allergic.

Great choice and kitchen right next to seating area
Everything is old there and we liked that since we used to live in a hundred year old home. The windows could have been cleaned though!!

It was close to downtown
A bit rundown on the outside, but nicely decorated inside. The room was quite small.

There is nothing good about this accommodation other than free parking but the accommodation is way overpriced anyway.
Everything. The house sits at the top of a hill on the main road near an intersection with a service station so a lot of traffic, all the more so since vehicles have to go into a lower gear going up the hill. The room is a small converted dining room with french doors separating it from the living area where guests have breakfast. The doors are covered with black curtains but glass is a poor insulator so you hear guests and they hear you and the bed is right against the doors. The air conditioning unit is at the foot of the bed and noisy so forget about turning it on to drown out the traffic noise. The windows were so dirty you could barely see out. There is a tiny sink in the bathroom but no counter space. To the left of the sink is a single sconce with a dim light that barely allows you to see your face and only the left side. There is a bare bulb on the ceiling but no light switch. I swapped the ceiling bulb for the one in the sconce but it was still too dim to see. At the the other end is a clawfoot bathtub but no surround for toiletries and so dim you can't see your feet. You have to be very careful because the floor is hardwood. Breakfast was just packaged cookies. The rate was as much as other accommodation in town immeasurably better.

Marcia was an excellent host, able to provide great recommendations and was very pleasant to deal with! Extremely happy with the location and accommodations, the room exceeded our expectations and the general area was well kept. Loved that there were books and puzzles for the rainy day and the view over town was great! Will be back if we’re ever in the area again.
I have no complaints with this location!

Comfy room with a great view of downtown. Owner's cats are super friendly too.

This is an ancien house on the hill. On its veranda I enjoyed my cup of coffee and contemplate flower beds and a nice view on the central streets. The owner has filled the house with harmonious antique objects and carved furniture. Her two cats came to see me in my room.
Location:
- 200 h meters from the Copper Bottom Brewing where I enjoyed live bagpipes music (from 3 PM to 5 PM) on a terrasse;
- 700 meters from a T3 intercity bus stop and Sobey's store;
- 3 km from the Knox's Dam where I have found a nice place to swim.

The house, the welcome, the town.
Unfortunately, we only book 1 night but this is a place to stay at least 4 days.
