This lovely west facing ocean side home commands spectacular views of the ocean. Meander down a few steps to the warmest swimming beach on Salt Spring. Enjoy spectacular sunsets from the large deck. This home sits on a 1/2 acre surrounded by a mature apple orchard, providing total privacy. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room, living room with wood burning fireplace and french doors that open onto a large deck, washer/dryer, all bedding and towels supplied.

Salt Spring is the largest of the Gulf Islands and is an ideal vacation destination. From May to October, the town of Ganges hosts the famous Saturday outdoor market where you can buy arts and crafts, farm-fresh vegetables, island-made cheeses, and homemade treats. On Salt Spring you can also enjoy fishing, golfing, tennis, hiking, ocean kayaking, vineyards, a brewery, a cidery and a new recreation centre. The cottage is an 8 minute drive from Ganges, the heart of Salt Spring Island, where visitors can enjoy restaurants, pubs, and art galleries.

The location of the property is perfect, easy to find from the Crofton-Vesuvius ferry terminal. The house is bright and airy, with wonderful views, sunsets from the deck and living room plus easy beach access. The kitchen was fully outfitted and had everything we needed to cook breakfasts and one dinner. It was a great base for all our exploring, we could have used another day on the Island. There was only one thing to critique that wasnt a 5 star and that was the basement. We arrived on a cool, rainy day and found watching tv downstairs was cold, the thermostat didnt seem to work. Which also left the room a bit musty smelling. Otherwise a fun vacation away from Parksville.

A beautiful property, incredibly groomed, with awesome views of the sea and incredible sunsets. An awesome kitchen, comfortable bedrooms/bathrooms and urban coastal decorating feel throughout. Nice sunroom and great outdoor patio space.and loved the outdoor fire pit. The weather was amazing and the wildlife around and about while we were there an added bonus! Close to the ferry and great location to explore the local area. We would absolutely return. Loved it.

If you can stay here just do it. It is the best location you can imagine, in the Gulf Islands right on the beach. Beautiful home so well equipped!

Drinking coffee in the morning watching the ferry go by such a relaxing stay. Clean comfortable beds,very well stock kitchen. We would highly recommend this stay. We wish we had more time .

House is well designed with all conveniences you will ever need. Only suggestions are that the number on gate be more noticeable and we missed not having Kleenex. As these are only minor observations you can see that the house is close to perfect!! Stay here - you will not be disappointed.

Great location. Watching the ferry come and go has been entertaining. Beds comfy and bathrooms are very nice. Loved having the fireplace and appreciated that wood was supplied Interested in finding out about other properties connected to this one for a future visit

We found the cottage wonderful, perfect for our needs, very well renovated and appointed. The kitchen had everything one could need,.. everything was esthetically pleasing. It is a good place for a couple, or someone with one or two young children. Not for two couples, as there is only one bathroom upstairs, and the down stairs bedroom with small bathroom still needs to undergo a full renovation. The lower floor is dark and poky. We are looking forward to returning when the weather is better.

This house exceeded our expectations, it is beautiful both inside and out. It’s location is perfect, lovely views out to sea. Inside it’s spacious, well equipped and there are many lovely pieces of art and decoration. We had a great stay and will be back.

The photos do not do this property justice. My mom and I stayed here with mother/daughter friends of ours. We all absolutely loved it. The view and location is spectacular. The home is beautifully maintained and decorated. The kitchen is very well stocked. My only teeny request for improvement is better pillows in the second and third bedrooms (the master bedroom linens were excellent). We will be back!

I stayed in this lovely ocean front cottage for 4 nights and had a great time. We loved the location and enjoyed walking to the neighbourhood restaurant on our arrival evening. The kitchen was well stocked and made meal prep easy. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the fireplace as well as tv and ping pong table. Would love to return!

We loved our time on Salt Spring Island - the house is in a great location and we were grateful to have such a wonderful home base during our stay. The house is very well equipped - the kitchen is very well stocked and the general layout is very family friendly. The proximity to the beach can't be beat! Would love to return soon!

We were a family group of 4 adults. The home was beautifully decorated and with the most amazing water views from the main floor. Very light and airy. Enjoyed the log burner for cozy evenings. Very comfortable beds and high quality linens and furnishings. Wonderful large deck outside was a highlight as we were fortune to have a sunny March weekend. .Few mins from Vesuvius ferry. Excellent amenities. Highly recommend!

We have been lucky enough to stay here several times and have enjoyed it each time! A beautiful house and a perfect place to spend a few days with family and friends. The kitchen is well-equipped, the decor is tasteful, and the tv and ping pong table downstairs are much appreciated.

We stayed for 4 nights. We enjoyed every single second. The home is lovely inside and out we love the snow we got and it melted after the 2nd day. The private beach is beautiful and we live in Hawaii so the fireplace was a huge hit! The view was amazing , quiet and beautiful, I love the solarium for meals the whole feel of the home is so comfortable. Lots of firewood. Covered parking easy access. The only suggestion I have is make the downstairs more cozy. Put an electric fireplace just fix the TV area up so it's a little more cozy. Other then that loved it, Salt Spring and all the gulf Islands. We will be back. We loved coming in the winter NO CROWDS. MAHAMO James and Eileen Stayed Dec 6 to December 10th.

It was perfect in every way! The location- right on the beach-away from the hustle and bustle - the weather was like July and we swam every day! The Seaside restaurant in walking distance was fabulous- fresh food and very reasonable.

The house is lovely— a great place to hang out with lots of seating options. There is one master bedroom & then two small bedrooms with twin beds (one is in the basement with its own ensuite) Well stocked kitchen - oil, spices etc. Lorraine manages the property & is great— I left some items behind on the island & she had them flown to Vancouver on a seaplane at a very reasonable price.. Thanks for your expert & friendly help Lorraine!

Had an excellent stay at this beautiful home! There is everything you could possibly need. Gorgeous views of the ocean and a bonus as the apple trees that were outside the windows of the sunroom were in full bloom! Management were wonderful to deal with by answering any questions promptly. Would definitely stay here again!
