We loved the location. Value for money!
The private beach was nice but lots of pipi shells stuck to the rocks made for lots of cuts and a hard walk out to deeper water
7.0
Stunning location. I stayed in the cabin so had private loo and shower which had hot water.
Sea view and can hear sea from bed.
Morning meditation run by owner in beautiful studio overlooking sea.
Looked like it could have done with a more through clean. Quite pricey considering the rustic/dated accommodation. Price on site is less than what you pay by the time you add on various fees is actually $145 not $124 but this is the same with all booking.com properties and similar self catering sites.

Beautiful location.
The price for what you get doesnt add up.
The bed was dirty and had smelly bedding. Very old and manky pillows.
The unit was dirty and untidy.
The long drop toilet needs maintenance and is not inviting to use whatsoever.

Being near a pretty private part of the beach, cooking facilities, a comfy bed, the isolation feel of the place, nice owner, shower was nice.
I didn't like the quality of the toilets and how far everything was from each other, and the lack of security.

Energy of the place.
2.0
the quiet
lack of information, what to expect. not enough power points, musty smelling bedding,, location of toilet and lack of lighting for older people is not a suitable option.

Great location.
Amongst nature and great views plus a nice beach. Gardens and privacy were great.
My cabin door could be better fitting.

A perfect spot. Our room was very secluded. Slept with the curtains open and the full moon shining. Perfection
Some solar lights for the path would be great

The staff John and Killandra at Shambhala were awesome

The property was in a beautiful estate on the edge of the sea. Gorgeous views from each of the rooms, and from the living room and kitchen. Friendly owner. Clean and comfortable with all the basics.
I liked the sustainability aspects.
It would have been great if the toilet was closer to the rooms. Quite a hike in the middle of the night for someone that gets up to pee in the night.
Otherwise everything was great.

The accommodation ist well located, very quite and an awesome (ocean-)view from the balcony.

Location. Peace and quiet. Birdie. Beach. Enjoyed a bit of harekeke weaving.
Didn't know to pack towel or coffee/ tea facilities as traveling on bike.

Enjoyed te taiao, nga Manu, ngahere, moana, of the atmosphere was peaceful and calm the weather was also perfect and swimming was magical including the beautiful gems at the moana th Manu followed us everywhere and could be seen everywhere.
The late night arrivals and early morning noise from neighboring lodge with music and people talking all evening g while we were sleeping overall it wasn't that disruptive but we were in such a beautiful environment

Location is nice. Good views and secluded in the forest.
Filthy! Only had a long drop toilet, which was disgusting. Filthy room with so many insects crawling and flying around. The room smelled and looked as though it hadn't been cleaned since the 90s.
1.0
The location was very beautiful, lovely garden and ocean view, but there was no hot water, no lights in the toilet, the room was totally overpriced for what it was. I felt ripped off.
There should be electricity plugs in the rooms, there should be hot water available and more than one shower. There should be wifi in the rooms. The toilet lights didn’t work, there was no hot water for the shower, and the room felt empty and disappointing.
6.3
The views were stunning.
The bed was very comfortable
The shared kitchen etc was great.
A walk to to bathroom was a bit extreme at night..
