The house was perfect with great amenities like a pool and covered porch. Suzan was helpful and communicative. A wonderful stay!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The house comfortably fit our big group, and it had great amenities (pool, grill, porch, etc.). The house is also located in a great spot—close to the beach, tennis courts, golf courses, and markets.
Throughout the planning process and trip, Suzan, the host, was very communicative and responsive.
We would definitely stay here again!

We were in Kiawah for a wedding and Suzan's home was a perfect match for our stay. The house has a central location on the island and the pool and living room were perfect spaces to relax in between wedding events.

The house was perfect! Equipped with everything you need, great pool and covered porch. We were so happy staying here and Suzan was helpful and communicative!

All good except the shampoo, soap and conditioner was low in a few bathrooms needing filled. The fan and tv remotes were switched around from room to room leaving you to solve the puzzle. In general yes, I would rent again
without question. The good outweighed the bad. a positive experience staying in KIAWAH.

The house is located at the end of a street and so quiet and peaceful. Very spacious and roomy. We are a group of college friends and greatly enjoyed the screened in porch and pool. We rented beach bikes and it was only a short ride to the beach. Really a great house!!

Susan’s property was a perfect home for our vacation. 45 minutes from the Charleston airport it was an easy drive to the quiet neighborhood the home is in. The home was comfortable, had a nice pool and is a 10 minute bike ride to the beach.

Awesome stay! Close to the beach and a great pool in the backyard! We are locals who enjoy the state beaches. House was very clean. Had to call the maintenance guy to fix the sump pump for the pool cover and he was there in no time to fix it. We would most definitely stay here again. Only a few small issues. We arrived 30 minutes after check-in time and the house was not ready. The refrigerator is small to store food for six for a week but there is a grocery store on the island. The upstairs beds seem a little outdated as they felt like old spring beds. The pool side lounge chairs had rotten legs and we could not use them. Overall we would rate this an A rental and would return in the future. Did I mention the pool in the backyard was awesome!

We have been staying at Kiawah for 25 years, and this house was perfect for our family. We traveled with three children (1, 2, and 4) and we were especially appreciative of the many ways the property was hospitable to families through things such as a baby gate and pack and play. The property owner and manager were incredibly communicative, and we appreciated the renter’s manual provided in advance. While not beachfront, we also found the beach to be very easily accessible. The screened in porch was also a huge plus. Five stars and would gladly stay here again!

We truly enjoyed the house looks just like the pictures even better. We thought the daybed was in the room with twin beds but they was separate room. That's makes the stay even more awesome. The neighbors were friendly and nice. We felt welcome and we will book again.
Thanks 😊!

My wife and I stayed just one night here. We loved it. The house was very clean, well lit and in a beautiful neighborhood. I have 0 complaints. The only odd thing was that they are very proud of their family, apparently, and there were pictures all over the home. It felt a bit like I was staying in someone else’s home rather than renting a space for a night. But, it’s hard to fault anyone for being proud of their family. So, again - no gripes. Well worth the $.

The house was wonderful for our 7 adults and 2 children under 2. The beds were comfortable the baths were complete clean and had great towels shampoo conditioner and bath soap. The kitchen was well equipped clean and workable. The large screened porch was fabulous for dining and entertainment. The pool was essential for our group and used every day. Ample storage for 7 bikes in the garage and a 5 minute bike ride to the beach. It was a wonderful experience. Kiawah is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation

The absolute BEST VRBO vacation spot we've found!
We just completed our fourth trip to this Kiawah property and every year, it's the highlight of our year. The location is perfect. Close to the beach and Kiawah's Freshfield Village giving you everything you need for a relaxing time. The ocean, great restaurants, cute shopping, all in an ideal setting. But what sets this spot apart from any other is the house. Suzann has created the ultimate spot for relaxation and peace. The decor, the amenities, everything you want to be perfect, always is and this is one of the few spots we've seen that the pictures don't do the space justice. In particular, what the pictures can't show is how quiet the back porch is and how private the pool is. You're truly in your own world to simply breathe and enjoy time with people you're with. (And in our case, that's time together as a family that you can't put a price on.) The home is always spotless, the property is meticulously maintained, and we're already counting down the days until our trip next year.
Thank you Suzan as always for letting us stay here and we'll see you in 2023! :)

Perfect for large family getaway

Excellent Rental All Around
The owners have made sure that there is nothing lacking in this home, right down to a high chair, two booster seats, and a Pack-n-Play for infants/toddlers. Every room was clean, and the screened-in porch was clean/dusted/free of cobwebs (unlike several rentals we have had on Kiawah). The kitchen was well stocked with dinner ware and cook ware. Property manager quickly took care of the one item we contacted him about.

Excellent Kiawah Property
We have been visiting Kiawah for 15 years and the first time renting a home with extended family. The home was great for our family stay. The home is in a great central location at the end of a quiet cul de sac and a bike ride to the beach. The beds are all comfortable, the main living is an open kitchen and living room, and the screen porch is large and used the most. Lots of kitchenware. We used the pool at the end of each day and it was perfect for us. Thanks very much to the homeowners for quickly addressing a couple of minor things during the holiday weekend. We would recommend the home for those looking for a well priced home.

As Described
This was a cozy well appointed home in Kiawah. Great kitchen set-up and good grill. Comfy beds and small but useable bathrooms. Back porch is comfy and we used most mornings and every night. Neighborhood and neighbors are quiet (except for whippoorwill,) Improvements include 1) pool is small and pool deck is under appointed and uninviting. 2) Master bath main plumbing is clogged and slow 3) Owners managing it from afar (great communication from them) but their cleaning staff is not maintaining grounds and outside areas as much as they should 4) front porch and upper back porch are sparsely furnished. Entire home is 40 years old so as long as you understand that - comfy rental.

Dated and Worn
The photos looked a lot better than the property. The house is fairly dated and very worn. It needs a lot of TLC. Some paint and a little fixing of doors falling of the hinges would make it a little better. The dishes were dirty, but we managed to clean everything before we cooked. About 20% of the lightbulbs were burned out. The landscaping needs a little work. There were piles of pine straw on the porch and back yard. The exterminator came and collected dead rodents while we were there. We made the most of our time and enjoyed the island and the heated pool. I dont think we can recommend this property and have stayed at many better properties on the island.

We Love Kiawah
Lovely house in a private feeling location (especially during COVID time). We used the pool daily and loved the screened porch and grill. We had an amazing time on the island. Bike rentals were super convenient, we rode everywhere daily including the beach. It was very easy to keep to ourselves on the island and still have a fantastic vacation that everyone loved. Kiawah is my new favorite place. We will be back!

Kiawah Island 520 Ruddy Turnstone
We had such a fantastic time, the property was truly amazing. There were 10 of us, ages 5 to 65, three generations!
With that many people it never felt like we were crowded and everyone had their own space for quiet time.
The front and back porches were terrific places to gather and the swimming pool was a bonus!

Perfect set up!
We loved this house so much! With a group of two families with young children, the house was a perfect set up. We visited over Easter and could easily get to/from the Easter Egg Hunt at Night Heron Park, had lovely evenings on the screened in porch (bug free!), great space for grilling/fam dinners and could easily take the kids swimming in the pool when it was too windy for the beach. Overall, we'll definitely be back! Thank you Suzan!

Wonderful Family Vacation !
Our family of nine, plus my sister, spent April 13-18 in this beautiful home. Suzan was wonderful to work with and responded to all questions immediately.
The house was very open with plenty of room, very comfortable beds and we loved our morning coffee and evening gatherings on the front porch and the screened back porch. Every evening one or two eagles perched on the tall pine trees behind the pool! Our grandsons loved the pool, played at the beach and we all rode bikes along the miles of tree lined bike paths and beach. Kiawah Island is a beautiful nature preserve!!!
