The view from our room and private balcony! It was super clean ! The beds were so comfortable with beautiful linens. The closeness to Peggy’s Cove!
The price was too high for a simple motel rooms despite its quality!

This is a gem with amazing access to some of the best views around. The rooms had an amazing view and had everything you need. Chairs and tables in the rear allowed for a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy the views.

Although the building is old the interior was renovated with a new bathroom and very comfortable bed. The balcony was a great place to take photos of sunset. Fridge, tv and microwave were included. Hot water and good pillows and quality sheets too.
Only problem was a lack of shelving in the bathroom.

Basic motel, but very nice and clean. Our room was a good size and seemed newly decorated. Location is superb overlooking the Bay. We had a balcony but plenty of space to sit by the water.
No cafe in close distance for breakfast but we found a diner in Hacketts Cove, 10 minutes up the road, that was ideal.

View was great.
Beds comfortable and big.
Internet worked good.
Room clean
No deck with room access like 4 units.
Only I comfortable chair in a room definitely meant for more than 1.
Fridge etc wasn’t plugged in. We put food in, went out for a meal and came back and discovered it un plugged and had to pull out the unit toplug it in.

Location
4.0 / 10.0
the location was near Peggy's Cove and right off the main Highway...
The room was bare-bones. It was shabby... the bed was soft, the tv screen small and was in an awkward place i.e. you could not relax on the bed and watch t.v.
The bedding was old and cheap looking..
Coffee creamers & packages looked old or re-used...
Drapes over windows shabby.
I was surprised as I had just stayed in Lunenburg on the main street at a lovely Inn and paid less money.
Essentially, this reminded me of a 1990's old style motel that you could get for $49/night.

View was awesome and the weather was perfect. The motel had rooms with a balcony for a little extra money so I took the balcony and sat outside under the stars. No light pollution from the town meant I could see every star in the night sky, even the Milky Way itself. It will be a very long time before that kind of lightning strikes again!
I could have stayed longer but didn't. There is lots to see in the area but not a lot to do because it was in the off season. Still, it was fun to explore and see the sights that I could see. Covid also has impacted how we visit such places and the services we can expect to receive. Local merchants and restaurants do the best they can but, restrictions, mandates, and of course passports all have had, and continue to have, their effect.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The view of the ocean was amazing. The room was clean. The only complaint is the carpeting which was worn and stained. The carpets should be removed and replaced with flooring and the room needed an update.
Did not like the carpet, especially for a motel on the ocean as the moisture sets in and the carpet is musty and was stained.

Had a balcony overlooking the ocean view... left the front window and patio door open all night and slept with the ocean murmur and an awesome cool breeze!
Nothing.. except they were booked so we couldn’t stay an extra night

Our first night we saw whales off in the distance. It was amazing.
Everything was wonderful!

Great location a few mins from Peggys Cove, nice room decor, modern bathroom
Beds a little firm, room a little musty (perhaps expected given location on the beach), could use better lighting in the room.

Nice view.
Expensive for a motel, but the area is very touristic.

Absolutely everything, from owner and staff to decor, the view, having s balcony, parking right up to the door, the beds, did I mention the view! Close to the restaurant Cafe l'Acadie, also excellent. We walked to it. Road is busy and Narrow so be careful walking. Also close to Peggy’s cove and memorial for Swissair. Love love love
Wifi was on and off. Bet windy so that could have been the issue. But with this view who needs wifi. Lol. That’s it!!!
