Beautiful home! Stephen, our host, was very quick to respond with our questions. Well stocked house. We did a family trip and everyone had a great time. Highly recommend this place for a family trip!!!!

This was the perfect home for our extended family of 10 to celebrate our anniversary. The home was very well furnished and had enough comfortable beds for everyone. The grandkids LOVED the arcade games and climbing on the rocks. We loved the fact that they could have their fun downstairs. We were halfway between Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, which we visited every day. The owner was very responsive and kept us updated on a brief regional power outage.
We had a wonderful time in a lovely home. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay here. The home was comfortable and beautiful, quiet and scenic. And we loved that a free shuttle stop was available just at the end of the road so that we could ride back after walking into town. The communication with the host was fantastic and the advice offered to a group of first time visitors really helped us make the most of our trip. Thank you so much for a memorable place to stay on a special trip.

Communication and ease of check in, beautiful property with wildlife. We really enjoyed our stay and the house was perfect for our needs to visit with family and friends. Really enjoyed the sunroom, arcade games and overall beauty of the property and its surroundings. Close enough to town to make convenient runs to store or other sites. Thank you!

We loved the house- it wasn't spotless but clean. Bc when we arrived, we had a hard time pulling up
the code to get in, ; m after trying to get the code, someone tried the door and it was open. ! The day of the snowstorm, we lost power @ 9:00 am. The fireplace in the basement didn't work- looked like pilot light was out, so we froze during the outage, which didn't come back on until 7:00pm. We reached out to the property manager, but got no response, which was disappointing

We had a great getaway in this cozy mountain home. It was very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the game room. We liked the privacy and the beautiful log furniture and cabinets. It's very close to Rocky Mountain National Park, where we went snowshoeing. We highly recommend it!

This is a beautiful property in a great location. We needed room for our entire extended family as my daughter was getting married, and this fit us perfectly. We had 10 adults and had plenty of room. The property itself is beautiful and very well maintained. We had elk on the property while we were there, and the sunroom in the back of the house is a great place to relax anytime of day and take in the scenery. The deck on the front looks out over a mountain and we used the provided binoculars, as well as our own, to search for wildlife and just enjoy the scenery. The arcade games in the basement were an added bonus that we took advantage of and really enjoyed. One feature that might be overlooked but was great for us is the tankless water heater, so we could run ten adults through showers and never run out of hot water. We had one minor issue related to ongoing maintenance at the property, but it was handled quickly and to our satisfaction by the property owner, who was easy to contact and very responsive. We've seen some of the reviews that complained about the amount of seating in the living room, or the quality of the dining room chairs, and frankly our experience was different from theirs. We found the chairs to be high quality and fitting of the decor, and with the open floorplan there was seating for all of us. This is a great property, the owner was accessible and responsive, it was clean and well maintained, and we would absolutely rent this property again.

We had a great time! There were some oddities (only a few hand towels/washcloths, no dish soap) and unfortunate timing (the exterior was being sanded and re-stained). Luckily we were off hiking most days. Room to spread out, beds comfy, kitchen well-equipped and supplied. We even turned on the pinball machines.

The house sits in a beautiful location. Seeing the wildlife was amazing. The kids enjoyed the game room full throttle. Wonderful place for a large family.

Was a wonderful large house for our family vacation. Plenty of room for the grandkids to play… inside and out! Nice and close to town. Was pleased with the extra towels and bedding. I would highly recommend this place!

I consider this a nicest of the six places I have stayed in in Estes. It worked great for a family of 12. Wonderful deck. Grill needs to be cleaned. We could not use it. If you are using an insect management company if they need to re-spray.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone kept talking about how great the house was.
The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and most importantly, the kids loved that all the video /pinball game worked! The adults loved them too.
We really enjoyed the sunroom and spent many mornings and evenings there. The kids (and some adults) even ventured out to climb the rocks behind the house. Only disappointment was, we didn't see any sheep or moose around the house, which is how it goes sometimes.
We highly recommend this house. The owner was very responsive with any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

Great location, plenty of room for our group. Big front and back deck to hang out and take in the scenery.
However, upon arrival we literally had 5 rolls of tp for the week and a couple rolls of paper towels for the kitchen. When i sent a text to Steve asking where we could find more I was told to check under the sinks, which I already did. Informed him there was none, and he never replied back. My family has stayed many places in Estes and have never been required to go get a new propane tank for the grill if it runs out and then leave it for the next guests! Only supplies 2 garbage cans, if you go over, you get to haul it to the dump or pay a $50 fine..again have never dealt with this at other homes/cabins. We brought our own propane take for our firepit and we used it for the 2 nights we grilled. Ridiculous the owner can't supply a back up tank for his guests. Maybe should add another garbage can, or recyclable can, or even have the garbage picked up mid week so your guests don't have to haul their trash to the dump on their vacation. Has a beautiful big kitchen table that has cheap deck chairs around it. And lastly, if you want to have your guests throw laundry in before you leave you may want to supply the detergent. There was a small empty bottle of detergent left in the laundry room.
Beautiful location, big house but would not return for these reasons

My niece wanted to celebrate her 10th birthday in the mountains; and she was beside herself with delight. We managed to see elk and mountain goats on the property.
The basement was the hang out because of the games.
The house is so spacious, it was amazing. The dining table facilitated sit down meals with everyone at the table at the same time...how cool is that!
She's still beaming.

We celebrated mine and my nephews birthdays over the weekend and had an amazing time! The house is perfect if you have kids. They were entertained with the mini arcade and the yard. The perfect location for exploring Estes Park!

Some friends and I came here for spring break and loved it. It’s in a great location and the views from the house are amazing. The stargazing off the porch was also great.

My family and I stayed at Castle Mountain the last week of December. The home did not disappoint. The game area kept the grown ups and kids entertained. House was the perfect size to house 6 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 children. The location is minutes from downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Upon arrival we were welcomed by 3 elk grazing through the back area of the yard, we even had a few deer pass by. It snowed while we were there, the street leading to the property was cleared first thing that morning.

The family loved the comfy cabin, in the mountains.
Cabin was clean, had rusted decor.
Very kid friendly, the older kids played in the arcade room, There was a basket full of toys for our 3 year old, even had toys for 8 month old.
The pack in play and high chair were very handy.
The deer came for a visit in the afternoon.
We plan to go back for another family get together.
Highly recommend this comfy cabin.

We enjoyed the time and it was a great location and the cabin space fit is well. Unfortunately we had alot of things that didn’t work or had maintenance issues: pinball machines, fireplace, stove, electrical outlets, telescope, etc. in general the place was under maintained for the price point.

Perfect location!
We had a family of 10 with a variety of ages and everyone loved the space in the home. Our favorite part was we weren't far from the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Forest or town. We had several forest visitors as well which the kids loved!

Perfect Spot!!!
We had an amazing time and the property was exactly what we were hoping for. Wildlife passing through, you can hear fall river roaring and location centered between Estes park Rocky Mountain National Park!
Great decks and patios, comfy beds, and enough hot water for 10 ppl !

Nice property - needs some maintenance
Property is nice and there is lots of room for guests. Some of the TVs, gas fireplace, and master shower didn’t function properly or at all. Also found the host wasn’t consistent with communication or responses (no response to broken fireplace during the stay).

Good location but dirty and needs maintenance
We were close to RMNP and to town. The property is secluded however it was not clean and does NOT have AC. It got hot even with having fans going in the early mornings and evenings with the windows open. It definitely needs some attention in the cleaning and maintenence department. We had to wear shoes in the home as if you didn't your socks/feet were black. There were dust bunnies and other stuff under beds and couches as it was not swept. The trash can area in the kitchen was disgusting as well as the bottoms of the trashcans throughout the house and garage.
I guess my expectations were not met. I did let the owner know of the following issues:
Phone jack in kitchen is hanging off
Soap pump on kitchen sink is broken off
Light in living room is burnt out
Dresser in downstairs double queen room closet is a little rough, drawers are not on track
Tub in master bath leaks out onto floor
Ceiling fan on back porch doesn't work
Exhaust fan in master bath doesn't work
The TV in the master bedroom has a parental lock and unable to use and the other tvs in the home do NOT have cable hooked up so they are DVD/blu-ray

Great place for a large group
We had a total of ten people in town for my daughter’s wedding, and the house was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the game room and the huge dining table that fit everyone for meals. Steve was very responsive when we had a small problem. We would definitely rent here again!

Perfect location
We had 4 couples for a mini college reunion, everyone enjoyed the property very much! Only issue was living room areas were a little tight if we all sat down together. Everyone really enjoyed the sunroom for morning coffee!

We had a great time! The property is well maintained and easily accessible to Estes Park downtown.

Excellent!
Very cozy and great location! We felt like we were in the woods but we’re so close to town it was easy to run in for dinner or groceries. The property had plenty to explore for our children. The full sized video games were fun too (a couple don’t work.) The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and cookware. Loved having two fireplaces!

Great location, slept 12 comfortably, I loved it and I would rent it again again
As our guest arrived they got stuck pulling in the drive way so they had to get out to shovel and add rock salt:( Wasn’t clean when we arrived:( we pulled off bedding and started cleaning it ourselves once the owner responded he sent cleaner immediately to do bathrooms and make the beds. All our guest had already arrived so we told him to have her just do bathrooms and bedding. . It’s a beautiful cabin just needs some TLC . Jetted bathtub in master bedroom seemed like it’s never been cleaned or used in a while because when we turned on the jets black carp came out so I had to drain bathtub a few times:( I could go on about other things wrong however Overall we enjoyed ourselves and everyone loved it. Just needs TLC Game room was a hit and loved the sun room. Kind of Awkward was on main floor is only a 1/4 bathroom so to shower we have to go thru master bedroom or downstairs, Needless to say it is a beautiful with the best views and great location ❤️ Thk you we really did enjoy ourselves ❤️

The house and location was stunning. Views from every direction. Fully equipped with everything you’ll need. They layout was perfect for our family, teens spent most of their time in the game area which worked out well when the adults wanted their quiet time. Definitely recommend - the beds were very comfy as well.
