About this cabin rental

Aspen Cabin is one of three Homes in a Very Private 15 acre Estate. ' The Estate at Fish Creek.' Tucked away in the Aspens overlooking Fish Creek from a safe distance.
We felt so fortunate to have this little piece of paradise that we decided to share with others our Charming Mountain Cabin that sleeps 12 in beds.
We have built/remodeled/updated to melt rustic and luxury together while embracing quality craftsmanship. Our cabin 'Newly remodeled' is the perfect spot for your getaway! Sitting high up on the mountain side, there is plenty of space all on one level to be together, and plenty of space to have a little quiet time away from the rest.
Our 4 bedroom, 3 bath home is nestled among the aspen, pine trees and wildflowers. The great room is cozy and has awesome views along with a 46” flat screen TV with a Blu-ray DVD, overstuffed chairs & couches, one equipped with a queen sleeper sofa and memory foam mattress. The kitchen dining area has a large table with seating for 8 plus the kitchen island counter will seat 4. The kitchen has all state-of-the-art stainless appliances another large 46” flat screen TV and a “wood stove”... the cabinets are well stocked with spices and basics for cooking, a laundry room with new stack washer dryer, There are 3 doors leading to a fantastic deck.
The master bedroom has a King bed and opens up to a private patio, and adjacent full bath with walk-in shower. There is a large bedroom with 2 queen beds that also opens up onto the patio. The kids will enjoy their own private bunk room that sleeps four and has its own private three-quarter bath.
The enclosed sun porch has a private sleeping area with queen bed that looks out into the aspens and Fish Creek. A table with 4 chairs for playing games, cards and puzzles and for any overflow for dining.
The very large expansive deck is the perfect place to spend the day relaxing, reading, visiting or simply enjoying the gorgeous Colorado skies, views and fresh air! Enjoy the wildlife throughout the day and evening including elk, deer, bear, fox, coyotes, squirrels, blue jays, hummingbirds and many other birds. There are 3 different seating areas on the deck which includes a bistro table with 2 chairs, a patio table with 4 chairs, 2 rocking chairs with a side table, and of course the gas grill.
There are thousands of acres of Roosevelt National Forest with hiking and ATV trails galore and of course great fishing in the many streams and lakes near Estes Park.
Other amenities include: Wi-Fi internet, satellite TV, second Parking area for a motor home or trailer parking.
The Estate at Fish Creek has a total of three unique properties and together sleep nearly 42 people in beds, a wonderful opportunity for family get-togethers. Check out the other 2 on VRBO #654406 and #573004.
The little 'Village' of Estes Park is one of the most sought after destination areas in Colorado, close to airports in the metropolitan hub. Obviously, the natural beauty, spectacular views and abundance of wildlife played a major role as well... off of the beaten path overlooking Fish Creek and a beautiful golf course with trails aplenty for any family large or small to wind down at the end of the day. The views are spectacular and the mountain fragrance is unforgettable. Estes Park has major horse shows, many different types of festivals, rodeo and a Fourth of July fireworks celebration that rivals Denver. Estes Park is internationally known for its Scottish/Irish Highlands Festival that brings thousands of visitors to our community in the fall of the year. We're excited to share with you our beautiful little village. Thanks again for letting us help you create those special memories that will be talked about for decades.

Great location for Estes park and entry into RMNP. House is clean, roomy and well stocked. Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay! 4 generations came together taking advantage of Estes Park and meeting up with extended family. Saw wild turkey and bear on the property. Be sure to lock your car. Stairs up to the front door but single level inside.

House was perfect for our family and was super clean. We needed no communication with the manager as everything worked and we had no questions. Highly recommend.

We had a nice stay. Had 12 people and all had beds. Kids bunks were right off kitchen so it was hard for them to sleep in when we made breakfast. Couldn't figure out the lights/fans in a couple rooms. Living room wasn't clean, but we did want an early check-in which they accomodated so I may have rushed them. We appreciated getting in early! Biggest downfalls: the stairs (we had grandma with and it was difficult for her to get up all of them) and the driveway that was washed out and hard to drive up. We had a motorcycle that had to be walked down because of the ruts. But it was a comfy house with great outdoor area.

We were on an overnight work stay and needed space for 8 that comfortably fit everyone in their own bed. This was perfect for our group! Nice, rustic cabin feel with the convenience of being only a few minutes from town. Saw some deer while drinking our morning coffee. Absolutely beautiful!

Toilet near laundry broken. Need a mat in Kitchen bathroom. Slippery. Need cone coffee filters. Mess with pot. Wash bunk bed comforters. Knives dull. Shower in hall great!

My Book Club wanted a nice place to stay in Estes. Aspen Cabin fit the bill. It is perfectly located to get to the Y, the Park and our favorite brew pub, Rock Cut. The kitchen is a bit small for 8 adults to work in, but it was extremely well stocked. We only needed our groceries. The living room was also a bit small, we gathered on one of the many decks to discuss our book. If we decide to go to Estes again, we would book Aspen Cabin.

Beautiful views, wonderful location

We had a large group and this property housed us very comfortably. The location is great, it’s just outside of town but very close to everything and feels private and peaceful tucked away on the mountain. The kitchen had everything except some of the pans we needed, but we made it work. Super easy to get to multiple park entrances, which was the goal of our trip. We enjoyed staying here.

My family joined up with my wife's brother and his family (total of 9 adults). We all enjoyed the stay. It was rustic, but we enjoyed that aspect of it. It was spacious and in a great location - less than 10 minutes to downtown Estes Park. The kitchen was well stocked to cook in.
I love that we saw deer across the street and next door. There was plenty of space for our three vehicles - a 4th would have been tight. We had great views of the mountains.
There were various aspects of the property that we think need to be updated, such as bedding and a few of the beds. We would be happy to stay there again but would hope that there were some updates before that next visit.

This house is a terrific for a larger group. The house is in a safe and convenient location. The layout of the house is great for a large family like ours. The kitchen is well stocked. Just a great place to stay.

Great house! Enough beds for 12 people! Staying in this house you definitely knew you were in the mountains! Loved the side porch with fire pit. Would stay there again!!!

The location of the cabin was perfect. We saw a few wild animals on the property which the kids went crazy over. We did have a few small concerns while there but the owner was quick to respond and address them. Overall it was a great stay and perfect for everyone!

We stayed here for a big family trip to celebrate my in-law’s 50’th anniversary and we could not have picked a more perfect place! The cabin layout worked well, and the location was conveniently close to everything, but still felt secluded and quiet. When we weren’t in RMNP, we were taking advantage of the paved running/walking/biking trail that was right across the street and led all the way to Lake Estes, the nearby playground or public pool, well as just relaxing on the porch enjoying the views of the mountains and the deer and elk that would come wandering by. Would definitely stay here again!

Great property located in Estes Park. Plenty of room for 2 families for a long stay. Front porch over looking the mountains and a great place to watch wildlife.

Set back in the forest, this house is surrounded by wildlife. We saw deer and elk on the property.

Very large house in a great, quiet location! Large deck and more space than we needed inside and out for 6 adults and 5 kids.

We really enjoyed this place, it was quiet and secluded, but close to the town, the lake, things to do, etc. The kitchen was very useable, as we made most of our meals (9 adults, 1 child). Bathrooms very nice. Beds comfortable. At times I wished there was AC but we used fans!! I concur with others that the light switches were confusing and could be labeled but we made do!! Had a really nice time connecting with our family again.

We brought our 8 children and a set of grandparents to stay for a few days and it was the perfect house. Fully stocked in the kitchen, comfy beds, clean bathrooms and an amazing view close to the city. I would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. Lots of space to stretch out. Quiet area.

We had a large group of friends come into town for the weekend and had an amazing time at the cabin. The property is beautiful and it was nice to hike around the 15 acres in the snow and sun. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen cooking together, and the kitchen is well stocked! Will definitely stay again!

The pictures of this property do not do it justice. The location is great, easy to get to and nestled in the wooded area. The house was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed for a fun weekend. Communication with Jody was seamless as well! Highly recommend staying here for a cozy getaway.

EVERYTHING came from a secondhand or thirdhand store. A Few Highlights: Porch bed was seriously rickety with thin almost nonexistant pillows. Wobbly counter chairs- family was afraid they would collapse if they sat in them. Wasn't hard to find a party favor in the sofa- you sit down and the other side of the cushion pops up. Sweeper handle leaves a black sticky residue (never seen anything like this in my life), had to work hard to scrub it off with a dish scubber. The 'oven mits' please- yuk. Kids said, "you sure you want to put your hands in there?" Didn't notice the hole in the right mitt until I got burned while retrieving food from the oven. Cooking utensils? The black plastic pan utensil was so horribly burned on the end, you would want to become very ill to use it. Who wants to cook with every pan that needs 15 minutes with Bartenders Friend? And one last highlight; a family of 12 requires 12 glasses to drink from. There were only 8.

The absolute best stay we’ve ever been too. Had everything you can think of , answered all of our questions promptly and location was beautiful.

House has great bedrooms. Kitchen is nice. Pans are a bit old. Had fun playing games with grandkids on the table in the living room. Nice location away from the craziness of downtown but close enough to walk into town and the rec center.
4.8
This is a wonderful property for the price! We had plenty of room and utilized every bit of the home. Would definitely recommend!

Great place, great communication, will stay here again!

We rented all 3 houses on this property for a large group of friends to spend the weekend together and had an incredible time.
This house in particular was comfortable, well equipped and a very short walk over to the bigger house on the property that ended up being the gathering spot.
Would highly recommend this property, we had a fantastic time.

What an amazing stay. The photos do not do this property the justice it deserves! We had a large group in town of friends and family. The layout of the house provided ample room and amenities for all the guests. The common areas were set up well for everyone to spend time together and visit. We will definitely be booking from these owners again. Very responsive, professional and friendly. I did not hesitate to give 5 stars.

This property is spacious and was comfortable for 7 adults and 4 children. It is a great place for kids to play games outside. We were very close to downtown Estes Park and close to Rocky Mountain National Park.
The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. I will return next year for our family reunion.
Great time had by all of us!

location of property was excellent, we were all a bit disappointed with amenities such as shortage of paper towels, Kleenex, toilet paper and kitchen wash cloths. silverware and glasses short for a large group as well. we havae never in the past been told we would need to buy our own if ran out. lots of cob webs on lighting and ceiling fans. We were a party of 9 and all expected a bit better.
4.8
Loved this house and location, convenient to town and Rocky Mountain National Park. Lovely home.
4.8
This had a great location and was clean and cozy. We saw some wildlife. Plenty of towels and hot water. Fantastic views of the mountains. The main negatives lack of cooking essentials like aluminum foil and zero condiments. Wi-Fi was hit and miss. Lots of stairs but plenty of parking.
4.8
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette merveilleuse maison.
Un petit détail, il manque un peu d’ustensiles de cuisine. Verres à vin pour des français c’est juste indispensable, et autres.
4.8
Clean and well equipped cabin for larger group of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids). Quiet neighborhood.
4.8
We were there when it was hot so with no AC, it was warm at night and difficult to sleep. None of the light switches were labeled and we never figured out all the lighting. We had to stand on chairs to turn on ceiling fans.
Great location and a cozy cabin.

Not knowing what each place has or not we were pleasently surprised with all the extras in the kitchen, baby stroller, highchair, Bathroom stuff in case you forgot shampoo. I could go on.....
The set up was perfect for our family. Very clean and grasious to to let us check in a little early and out a little later. Very close to town and what can I say about Eates ? More to do then we could imagine. Just Beautiful ...We HIGHLY requemend this place and hope to return for another get away
