Quiet, Great manager (Aaron) who was so friendly!

The view from our Bear suite was gorgeous (frozen lake just ahead of us and montains in the backdrop). The suite was clean, with the exception of the floor, which had some dirt. All the toiletries were provided, and the office had extras if we ran out of what was provided initially. Our suite had a full kitchen, fireplace, grill, and there was also a firepit just outside.
The location is very convenient as it is only a couple of minutes' drive from Estes Park downtown and 3 miles from the Rocky Mountain National Park. Overall, you can't beat the value. I highly recommend it.
I wish our suite had 2 bathrooms, but there was only one. Also, the floor was a bit dirty. Other than that, no complaints.

Staying at the Estes lake lodge. 2 time staying here! Love this place
There was some dirty stuff under the couches, other than that it was fantastic.

not enough plug in outlets

We enjoyed not having the restaurant and bar it made it nice and quiet. Loved our view and everything about our stay.

It’s a really great location with great views. Loved the hummingbird feeders outside our bedroom window. Fun games outside and in.
While I wasn’t expecting a 5-star hotel with all those amenities, for the price we paid, I was expecting something a bit better. Terrible bed, no side tables, scratchy sheets, bathroom rod kept falling off, the toilet seat was not screwed in properly, 3 tiny & flat pillows, curdled creamers. The welcome letter gave us a number to text if we had a issues or questions, yet when I did (twice), I didn’t get a response.

Location to town and wildlife

The room was like a mini cabin. The decor was awesome. The fireplace was beautiful. The staff was amazing.
The bathroom was small and the bed was not super comfortable. The bed was a spring mattress that was kind of hard.

Great location, amazing view from the room, large rooms, clean bed and bathroom, employees left you alone. Highly recommend.
There was some food left in the fridge but this was my only issue.

wildlife, quiet, comfortable

Location was great, we did not get offered any breakfast.
Breakfast would have been nice, folks walking above us keep us up most of the night. Bought fire wood and there was no fire poker. The dry spruce wood melted fast. Wife mentioned that curtains were to sheer, could see in room at night with light on.
3.0
The view.
Dirty floors, tub, room. Dated facilities. Sheets/ towels stained. Low water pressure. Nail sticking up from the floor. Bathroom sink didn't drain well. Bed uncomfortable.

For us the location was perfect. The view from our room, getting to see the wildlife for example Elk, deer and eagle (yes an eagle) We are in our sixties, so only a couple of steps. The fireplace in our room, great addition.
A king size bed would have been nice. Our bed which was queen size could have been more comfortable. Also, was a little over priced compared to other locations we stayed.

The people were the best part of this property. The location was also very convenient, although there is a blind exit in the drive, could get a little tricky.
The couch is horrible, so uncomfortable. The place is old, and it sounded like the people upstairs were coming through the floor. No screen on the door, so if it had of been hot, we could not let in breeze without bugs.
The worst was the heater. When you turn it on the smell is horrible. We turned it off for fear of being gassed in our sleep.

Location was super. View of lake very nice. Proximity to town excellent. Plenty of hot water and great water pressure in shower. Nice to have kitchenette including microwave. The TV worked well.
Bed was very uncomfortable as it was a portable type bed used often for guests in a private home. It's an older property that could use new carpet and updating. One can easily hear guests in neighboring rooms. Nightly charge was too high considering condition of property and lack of amenities.

The location was great! We had easy access to the Rocky Mountains and the room had a great view of the lake. We also loved watching the humming birds. When my husband go covid and we needed to extend our stay, the lodge was very accommodating.
The rooms were a bit outdated and the internet didn't reach to the end of the Mountainside rooms. We also would have loved access to a few more kitchen-type items, like plates.

Check in / check out very uncomplicated. The location was great.
The price was really high for what we had there. The room was quite dirty and the whole house noisy. We could hear the neighbors walking around very loudly every day.

View, swings and benches on hill
Room was stuffy, bathroom was filthy, a used wash cloth was left on the shower rod, the tub, medicine cabinet, windows and walls in bathroom were all dirty.

The beauty of the location and the amount of humming birds was actually magical. The humming birds alone literally flying past your face and hovering mid air to look at you will have me book again
The fact that we had to leave and go home

Easy access to downtown going a back way. Pretty good views. Good space for family of 5.
Beds uncomfortable. A little outdated
8.0
The room was spacious and the views great.
Right next to 36 creates road noise starting at 5am each morning. With no AC you have the windows open and with me being a light a sleeper this would wake me up. The bed was very hard.

Great location and comfortable room. I never saw any staff, but they provided all we needed.
For 194.00 I would expect more.

The couch was not comfortable. That was the only thing we didnt like. everything else was great.

Bathroom is dirty, with mold near window areas. Bath towel appears yellow.
