NEWER LISTING: Welcome to 3ONE8 Manzanita; a newly remodeled, private home retreat in Manzanita, Oregon.
3ONE8 is the perfect escape for couples and small families who enjoy high end furnishings in a casual and modern setting. Interior amenities include acacia hardwood flooring, new kitchen appliances, All-Clad cookware, Ceasarstone counters, Ann Sacks tiled bathroom with walk in shower and heated marble flooring, dimmable LED lighting, Hansgrohe plumbing fixtures throughout, Spectrum Wi-Fi, newer contemporary furniture and other high end finishes. It's hard to find a vacation rental in Manzanita, or on the coast for that matter, that isn't dark, dated or decorated by your great aunt.
The interior layout, designed by TVA Architects of Portland, is open while still intimate. Both bedrooms feature new queen size beds, new carpeting and the larger bedroom has a ROKU Smart TV w/ YouTubeTV. Main living area is dynamite and has terrific flow - it's one big great room with great light and views to the golf course in the back yard. Another ROKU Smart TV w/ YouTubeTV is in living area. You also have your own backyard complete with private patio, dining area, fire pit, bbq grill and golf course views.
Our favorite part of staying at 3ONE8? Sipping fresh coffee on the back patio in the morning and watching the birds and squirrels play in the pine trees and watching the golfer's terrible tee shots into the 6th green. I loved the cheery decor, comfortable furniture, WELL-Stocked kitchen, walk to manzanita … and heated bathroom floor! Wow. Great time this sunny weekend and hope to be back. Kudos to the host!

This place is as advertised; clean, cozy, comfortable and everything you need in a short-term vacation rental. The location is the best … we park our car and walk to the shops in the village which takes about one minute.

Located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of trees and backed up to the golf course. The dogs loved it! The kitchen was great and has a lot to offer if you want to cook. And Bret was very attentive throughout the process.

This rental was exactly what we needed. With a 2.5 yr old in tote and one on the way, we needed efficiency and location, while still maintaining a connection with the outdoors. This rental gave the best of all worlds. Blocks from the main strip (and local playground), and a few more to the beach, we loved the conveniences this rental offers. Not only that, but the rental itself was beautifully designed and well thought out (and very well maintained). The backyard backing onto the golf course helped maintain our connection to the outdoors when we were inside due to weather or nap time. Our son even spotted a deer one morning! The welcome/check out instructions were printed and laminated in each main space, conveniently located on a console or end table. This was a nice feature, as we all use our phones/electronic devices enough in our daily lives to warrant them on vacation (esp when we just stayed for an extended weekend Fri-Mon). It was a successful getaway allowing us to recharge and spend quality time as a family! Only problem: I'd like to go back this weekend to do it all over again 😁

We spent 5 days at Bret's 3ONE8 cottage - everything was just amazing. We found a perfectly clean, modern and well equipped cottage in a quiet, nice neighborhood overlooking the golf course. Close to unique shops, 5 mns walk to the beach.

We enjoyed a too short stay in Bret's beautiful home; we used his home as a base while we introduced friends from Switzerland to Oregon's beautiful beaches and Manzanita's small town charms. The home is very nicely decorated and well stocked; everything was spotlessly clean. We loved the Euro design; it was modern and clean, yet colorful and cozy. Especially nice was the location: serenely quiet, with a backyard facing a golf course, yet only a very short stroll to Laneda Ave with its restaurants, coffee shops, bakery, boutiques, and galleries. Our guests especially enjoyed exploring the beach at Hug Point during a minus tide; a memory to last a lifetime :). Thank you, Bret, for providing such a wonderful place for us to enjoy a few magical days on Oregon's world class coast!

I live in Manzanita and rented this property for visiting family- they loved it! The cheery interior and interesting art was a constant topic of conversation. My mom especially enjoyed the verdant morning view across the golf course. Downtown is just seconds away, but you feel like you are tucked away in a park setting. If you like to cook, you'll have everything you need to make a memorable meal!

We travel alot and stay in many VRBO/Airbnb homes. This ranks at the top. Just the right size for a small family or two couples or just two people who like their space. Magnificent kitchen and bath. Great cable tv. It rained alot while we visited, so we could always escape back to our fantastic accommodations for a book and a nap. No complaints at all. The owner has thought of everything. We would definitely return. Big Wave cafe just up the road was our favorite eating place.

A short walk from the beach and the shopping area, this property is a great place to spend a beach vacation.
The rental is decorated in clean, contemporary lines. We loved the bright colors that make it a great place to be even on a cloudy day; the kitchen is well stocked with equipment and it was soo clean!
The owner has been fantastic answering our questions. We left some pillows and Bret was gracious enough to return them to us.
At the risk of having to compete with more people for available dates, I highly recommend this place.

Just got back from a fabulous weekend in Manzanita and stayed at this fantastic cottage. It's beautifully remodeled and steps away from Laneda where all the shops and restaurants are, and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Super private and quiet, the attention to detail in the cottage is unlike anything I've seen through VRBO or AirBNB: heated floors in the bathroom for chilly mornings and a full kitchen with all of the important appliances. I would stay there again. I usually go to Cannon Beach but Manzanita is my new beach getaway!

Our first night on a week-long road trip down the Oregon coast was in Manzanita. After a day of traveling, this little gem of a stay welcomed us, and my wife and I could not have been more pleased. Bret, the owner, went out of his way to make sure our stay was as good as it gets. He's gladly willing to assist with questions and needs, but is not doting. 3ONE8 is a highly upgraded, super clean and cozy unit, complete with all the amenities, topped off with a private, peaceful view off the golf course from the dining area. We felt right at home, loved this town, would come again in a heartbeat!

3One8 was for us the perfect place to relax during our roundtrip from Vancouver (Canada) to San Francisco. The house is perfect and has everything you need to relax. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute drive to Cannon Beach.

When we arrived in Manzanita there was a very small hiccup with the rental. The owner immediately responded via text and had the problem remedied in no time! He even sent us a little something for the trouble. This rental is very homey and cozy. We cook a lot at home and usually come prepared with knives, cutting boards, spoons, ect. but they weren't needed with this kitchen! It has everything you may need...even a blender. Walking into town and to the beach is a breeze and you are very close to the farmers market they have every Friday night in the summer! Thanks again Bret!

This house is cute and comfortable and the location is excellent, a 2 minute walk to town and 5 minute walk to the beach. The house had everything we needed, including basic cooking supplies, dog bowls and even a little step stool for the kids in the bathroom (and HBO!). The owner was really nice and easy to work with. We did need to change our dates after an conflict arose and the owner was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Bret is a cool guy with a very cool place. In a perfect spot. Affordable. Place has everything you need and is very well organized and laid out for the space. We've stayed in rentals all over Manzanita and this is as clean as a beach rental gets.

We loved staying at 3ONE8! The house was so clean and had everything we could want or need. The kitchen was fully equipped allowing me to make many meals & cookies. There was paper towels, dishsoap, and even a few plastic food storage containers for leftovers. I loved having laundry in the unit as well as having a dishwasher (both with soap provided). The bathroom felt so luxurious and the shower had ample room to clean my sandy toddlers after spending time at the beach. The location is great - a quick walk (even for young kids) to the beach, "town" or the park. My husband enjoyed playing golf on the course that the house backs up to. We also explored other nearby attractions (short sand beach, hug point and Mt. Neahkahnie) and really enjoyed only having to drive a short distance with our kids. Bret was great to work with - very friendly and quick to reply. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back one day!

What a charming cottage! Easily slept five people. We hosted a dinner for 7 in a casual atmosphere - the kitchen had everything we needed for preparing the dinner. Great location - we walked to the beach and walked for coffee. Great job with the decor!

We rented this home since we needed a place to stay for a family crabbing adventure at the coast. It's a very cozy home and I was impressed by how clean everything was. We enjoyed the fire in the backyard while the kids roasted Smores & finished the evening with a few games we found in one of the closets. It was really chilly at the coast but we lucked out in that we at least didn't get rained on while we were out on the boat! We would definitely stay here again.

I took my family out of dodge for the weekend. Despite the rain, we grabbed the pups and grandma and had an adventure. We were able to check in a little early so my son could make his nap schedule. The house is super cute and happy and VERY clean. I loved that there was a dog towel waiting at the door and a blanket for them to snuggle on. Also loved how the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pots and pans, etc. Shower has great pressure. Cadet heaters in every room were a nice touch as well. What else did I love. Oh. The location. That was the best. We could get to the beach and town in a quick little walk. Being that it was rainy, as soon as it cleared we'd rush out and have a day. The town is really cute. Good food. Nice merchants. We really had a wonderful time and I recommend this place for sure. I'd love to see it in the summer. I bet it is incredible

We really enjoyed our four night stay at the 3one8 house. Traveling with a toddler isn't always easy, but it was at this house. There was a booster seat, step stool in the bathroom and even a wagon to pull her and our gear to the beach. Easy walking distance to a fun toddler park, the grocery store, the village and the beach.
What I appreciate most about the house was how clean it was. I am a bit obsessive about clean and wouldn't have been able to relax and enjoy my time in a less than sparkling clean home. Liked the backyard space for relaxing and my husband enjoyed the movie channels in the evening.
Great experience and already considering another stay next summer.

We arrived to Manzanita on a a cloudy, cold and rainy weekend and couldn't have been more happy when we arrived at the ideal haven for our coastal visit. 3ONE8 was clean and comfortable with all a family needs to enjoy eat-in meals and relaxing nights by the fire pit! We loved being so close to town that we could walk to town or beach and back when the sun decided to come out.
We also enjoyed our family runs in the Nahalem Bay State Park which is only a short distance from the house.
It was confirmed that we thoroughly enjoyed our coastal retreat since we fully plan to book another stay at 3ONE8 !
