I cannot say enough great things about this property. The location is about a 15-20 minute drive to most things to do in Grace Bay, which wasn’t to far. Taylor bay beach and sap beach were both within 5 minutes. Las brias is also 5 minutes.
The house itself is even better than pictures. Plenty of pans for cooking. Unbeatable views, the pool was perfect. We will be back! Thank you again so much!
Only thing I would add would be an extra mattress topper for that pull out and maybe a dresser in the closet for unpacking. But such minor things for such a beautiful property!

Cute house for a quiet stay. Secluded area for a private stay.

I was not going to leave a review, and let the universe take care of this situation and the dishonest owners who gaslit me when I told them they had bed bugs, but i was encouraged to reconsider that decision. These were clearly bed bugs. The owner tried to say they were and flies, but we were bitten by those as well and the bed bug bites were very aparent. We also bed bugs in between the comforter and the duvet cover, but the owner still insisted that they were not bugs. I didn't expect to receive any money back, but an acknowledgement and apology would have been nice. Instead i was treated like i was stupid, and didn't know what i was talking about. The owner also said that bed bugs are highly unlikely on the island, which is simply a fallacy that anyone with Google or a brain would know.

We stayed one week and relaxed in the pool after exploring all the beaches. It was nice being away from all the busy beaches. Two were close by as well as several restaurants

Amazing cottage, enjoyed every minute we were in it. The views are outstanding, just sitting in the sofa you can see the ocean and the silly creek area. The cottage was super clean, the bed comfortable and you have everything you need in the kitchen. Heather, thanks for letting us stay in this beautiful space.

It's difficult to summarize how absolutely beautiful this place is. Best vacation ever. Love the cat!!!

Everything better than described. Total privacy with an amazing view and close enough to Grace Bay with a great beach Taylor Bay beach just 5 minutes away. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that if we go back to Turks we will definitely stay here again.

So charming, so private, so feels like home away from home. Loved every minute here at this stunning cottage.

Everything about this property is better than what photos show. If you’re thinking about it just do it, as you won’t regret it! The paddle board and kayak truly enhanced our experience as did the pool. We will be back!

Chalk Sound is a remote part of the island where you can find peace, quiet and solitude. The 1 bedroom cottage was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed for our stay! We enjoyed exploring the crystal clear waters on the kayak and paddleboard that were provided. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and utensils to prepare meals. The pool was perfect for a little dunk when it got hot. The lush walk down to the water’s edge was so tropical. And the outdoor shower was a fun surprise! This is a lovely place for a quiet and romantic getaway. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience except for very limited internet during our second week. We learned that the other internet provider on Provo did not have similar issues .
Clayton and Heather, our hosts were very helpful.

This was our first time in Turks and Caicos and staying here was the highlight! The place was super private and immersed in natural beauty (plus a friendly cat!). We could not have been happier with the place or the host. It was perfect.

Cottage was lovely and perfect.

It was very quiet and private, not a lot of extra busyness. We loved enjoying our time here for the privacy away from all of the Grace Bay traffic, and when we felt like dinner/shopping we would make the 20min drive to Grace Bay Area.
FYI… if you are a DrPepper drinker, only one store offers it, GRACEWAY GOURMET.
Loved our stay and hope to come back soon!

Us two city mice looked for a little peace and quiet and found it in this charming cottage. It is nicely designed, well equipped house with a spectacular view and even an affectionate roving kitty for entertainment and snuggles. The pool was most welcome from the heat of the day.

The view is amazing and the house was perfect for just the two of us. Beware the stairs to the beach are difficult to navigate without a railing. The trek down them is worth it but coming back up is definitely tricky if you have short legs like me.

Definitely matched all of comments from the reviews. We stayed 7 days and our only regret was not splitting the week with 3-4 nights in Grace Bay. Unfortunately, both Taylor and Sopadilla beaches were covered in sargassum seaweed so we preferred the beaches in Grace Bay. There are also very few dining options on this side of the island so we spent considerable time driving back and forth which kind of got old midway through our stay. If your looking for privacy and prefer cooking in than you won’t be disappointed with this cottage.

We loved our stay at Silly Creek Cottage. The check in process was simple, the cottage is easy to find and on Google maps. The views make this cottage one of a kind but the layout, comfortable bed, updated walk in shower, warm pool and luscious landscaping put it over the top. We rent VRBO often (one other time in TCI) and this is our favorite rental yet.

This is our second time staying here and we already booked our third for next year! If that isn’t positive enough, this place is a true gem in the chalk sound area. The views are simply amazing, especially sunsets. Kayak out to nearly private beaches with the most amazing water in the world. We saw sharks (little cute ones) and turtles while kayaking silly creek. The pool (installed since our previous stay) is a fabulous addition. The remodeled kitchen is well appointed and perfect. We also love how it is tucked behind a large rock making it incredibly private. We had great communication with Heather. Can’t wait to be back next year!

This property provides everything that is promised in the description. You won't be disappointed. Communication with the owner was prompt. The house cat was friendly and a comfort to have while being away from our pets. Highly recommend this property. Linda and Dave

Outstanding property. Time to be alone and enjoy each others company, with the tranquility of Chalk Sound. Would encourage you to enjoy the house and property. La Bries restaurant is close if you need a meal. Grocery shopping was easy at IGA , and the house has all the needs for cooking. Heather was an outstanding host. A great way to enjoy Turk & Caicos.

Silly Creek Cottage greatly exceeded the extremely high expectations we had based on the 160 reviews that i poured through. Heather let us check in a bit early, and was absolutely lovely to deal with from start to finish. The photos just do not do justice to the beauty here. The views and pool and creek and gorgeous plants everywhere just blew us away. We loved how close Taylor and Sapodilla beaches were (sunsets at Taylor are the best i have ever seen), and just how easy it was to accomplish everything we wanted to. Make sure to read the guest books in the house as they gave us some really good tips. I cant stress enough how gorgeous and well appointed this lovely cottage is, and how badly we want to return. Be warned, however, that it is very hard to leave! Thank you Heather and Clayton, this was a memory for us that will last a lifetime.

We only stayed for a night and wish we had stayed for a week! This is a hidden gem, yes it was quite pricey for our small family but worth it.
We enjoyed kayaking on gorgeous transparent waters, kids were not afraid because the water was quite shallow. relaxed in the wonderful pool which has incredible views of the sound. The deck was very peaceful and calm in the evening and morning time to enjoy the solitude of the island.
Inside the property, the bathroom is big and beautiful. Kitchen came in handy and has all the needed stuff, although we only cooked breakfast. The bed was comfortable, and it was really super to have laundry on site to dry our swim clothes.
The owner/ manager Heather was very kind and helpful with our questions. Thank you for your hospitality, it really makes a difference.
Overall, highly recommend staying here. It's not for big parties but a small family would be all set.

Our third stay at this beautiful property and as usual it was perfect for us! We spent the 12 days chilling around the pool or heading out to our choice of gorgeous Turks beaches. Highly recommend.

Silly Creek cottage was perfect for our honeymoon. We rented a jeep so we loved that we could adventure around the island but were away from the hustle and bustle for our stay. Pictures don’t do the area justice. Would definitely stay again. Taylor Bay was the perfect beach spot.
We enjoyed our little guest, Mr. Whiskers as we named it. Ran out of food so we grabbed another bag. I know others have said about the cat trying to get into the cottage, but we never had that issue. Just cried at the door to fill the food bowl.

We just stayed here for one night before our move to another house for the week! It was great! Clean and a great location:) The steps down to the dock/ocean (very steep but super beautiful walk) lead you to a super unique cute/historical “boat” dock with great kayaks and paddle boards. The kids had a great time using the water toys to explore the Bay Area! The house is equipped with all you need. Great layout and the spacious deck is great to sit and relax. Bed was super comfortable, which is a big thing for me lol. Kitchen was clean and very functional! The pool was great and provided a wonderful view!! I would highly recommend this place for a one night stay or even a week:)

Perfect location to stay on the island. Quite and private, but only a 15-20 minute drive to shopping/nightlife areas. Saw a small ray, turtle, and shark in silly creek while kayaking. Short drive to beautiful beaches. The house was clean and comfortable, and provided amazing views. Heather and Clayton are excellent hosts. Will definitely come back.

My husband and I had an absolutely beautiful stay in Chalk Sound. Heather and Clayton were fabulous hosts and even though hurricane Fiona caused disruptions they were sure to make certain we were ok, provided what was needed in case of issues and made sure we were taken care of. We are definitely making plans to return to stay in the future. We highly recommend them as hosts.

First and foremost this property is 100% as advertised and probably nicer than the photos depict. The view from the pool is amazing. You can see right out to Silly Creek from the pool edge. You do have neighbors next door but through a thick patch of brush. You can hear them but you can't see them. So very private. Silly Creek was very private when we were there, which was the 1st week of September. That might not always be the case. In the week we were there we saw one small boat fishing and one kayaker, all week long. It was great going out in the morning and kayaking to listen and see the wildlife. Make sure to pay attention to tides. The creek gets too shallow to kayak at low tide. So if you plan to kayak to one of the private beaches, go when the tide is higher.
Heather was very responsive. Our flight was earlier in the day coming and later in the day going. Heather accomodated with no problem letting us check in early and check out late. That being said this was slow season so might not always be the case. We also had an issue with the hot water heater during our stay and Heather was great at getting someone out to fix it. Turned out it was an easy fix.
Another positive was the bathroom was upgraded from the picture in the listing. The picture shows a white tub fixture, however this is now a stand up shower with handheld and rain shower head. This was a pleasant surprise.
Location of home. The chalk sound is amazing! The island definitely needs to work on establishing more access to the chalk sound. There's almost no way to get to it unless you take an excursion or kayak quite a way, which was a little more than my wife and i wanted to do. That being said this area is, in my opinion, the nicest part of the island. You're surrounded by some huge beautiful homes. This is a very affluent part of the island, and felt very safe. We visited Grace Bay area, the bight settlement, the leeward settlement; pretty much most of the island. I think the beaches near the chalk sound, Taylor Bay Beach, and Sapodilla Beach are by far the nicest.
My wife and i always do all inclusive when we stay somewhere tropical. This was our first time outside of the states, renting a home, renting a car, and exploring on our own. If you're on the fence, i would highly recommend this home! (Also Grace Bay Rental Car was great to work with as well)

I read the reviews before booking this property. It still surpassed our expectations. Enough said. The pictures definitely does not do it any justice. It is one of those "you have to see it to believe it."

My wife and I stayed 3 nights for our 20th anniversary. Everything about the property was excellent. The pool, the beach area, the green sea turtles, the kayak ride to Prince’s beach. We can’t say enough great things. We will be back. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Paradise
The location and views are amazing. I think the property is an amazing value for what is included. We enjoyed using the pool daily and the dock below with the kayak and paddle board. There were things we looked for in the kitchen a few days that we couldn’t find. I also think the villa could use some updating (paint, couch, etc.) as it gets older and more use.
Two things that I think are important to note.
1. While the villa is very secluded, their is a rental right through the trees next to the pool. There were people there our entire 9 days. Kids were swimming and screaming in the pool next door at 7:30am and woke us up inside multiple days.
2. Many people mention the kitty that visits. I don’t love cats but also don’t hate them. It was VERY annoying. Every single time we opened the back sliding door the cat was trying to sneak inside. You had to sneak outside through a small crack. The cat also follows you everywhere if you tried to eat outside. He would jump up on the table and would even try to go up to our coffee. Not enjoyable.

Amazing!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the cottage. It met and exceeded all expectations. It had all the comforts of home. The view is indescribable. The kayak and paddle board are perfect for exploring the waters and the little islands and beaches just out back. The boat dock area is amazing. Not many cottages on that side of the road have actual water access, so this place is really special. I can’t recommend this cottage enough.

Silly Creek Seclusion
Where to begin! What a perfect week at the cottage. We enjoyed the daily company and spoiling Ms. Kitty, grilling lunches by the pool, coffee in the morning and venturing out on the paddle board and kayak. We spent a day kayaking to Split Rock and Bonefish Point (a good 6 mile ocean kayak adventure) but worth it! Thankful to have a refreshing pool to relax by in the evenings with the tiki torches glowing and a cocktail in hand. The house is well equipped with everything you need. The landscaping with native plants is beautiful, especially along the steps down to the dock below. I would suggest bringing a portable Bluetooth speaker if you like music by the pool. Heather was just a message away and any issues we had were quickly resolved.
Some of our favorite places to eat were Omar’s Beach Hut (visited twice) for the conch salad and jerk chicken, Da Conch Shack, Grace’s Cottage for an upscale dinner, Bugaloo’s for more of a party vibe, Las Brisas was so-so for us but others love it. Sunset at Taylor Bay was beautiful and snorkeling Smith’s Reef is a must!
All in all a perfect 25th anniversary and birthday week for us! Can’t wait to come back!
