Why settle for less when you can have it all? Towering Pines is a combination of all the amenities you need in an executive home and all the things you want for a luxurious vacation experience. Located on historic Lost Lake in St. Germain, Towering Pines is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with 3,000 square feet of living space that was completely remodeled during the fall.
The main level has a great room with a fireplace and a wall of windows overlooking the lake along with a 47 inch TV. Next to the great room is a dining area with a large table that seats 6 – 10 people and overlooks the lake. On the other side of the kitchen is a large farm table capable of seating 12 – 16 people during large family gatherings. The newly remodeled kitchen comes equipped with a dish washer so you can spend more time relaxing and less time cleaning dishes!
The Rec Room has a massive 70? TV, slate pool table, dart board, new hard wood flooring and leather furniture. This room overlooks the lake and is the perfect place to relax and have fun with the family. There are 3 TV’s in Towering Pines (Great Room, Rec Room, and Master Bedroom) that all come with the DirecTV Genie and a library of over 130 recorded movies free for your viewing pleasure! This home also has high speed Wi-Fi!
There is a sun-room on the main level that overlooks the lake that will be a hit during the warmer months for family gatherings and late night card games. There is also a large laundry room on the main level for your use. The main level also has a master bedroom with a walk in closet, changing area with a vanity, and a bathroom with a deluxe tile shower.

The upper level has 3 bedrooms with a North Woods Lodge atmosphere and an alcove with a log futon for extra sleeping space. The first bedroom on the second level has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a log loft bed with a queen bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top. The third bedroom has a set of twin log bunk beds and a set of log bunk beds with a twin on top and a full size bed on the bottom. The bathroom in the upper level has a custom-made log vanity with vessel sinks and old-fashioned pump style faucets and a bathtub/shower.
On the front of the house is a lakeside cobblestone patio, a fire pit, private pier and 200 feet of ripple sand frontage that gradually slopes out to deeper water. On the other side of the house is a private tennis court and basketball court along with a large grassy play area for outdoor games. Towering Pines comes with an attached 2 car garage for your personal use.

This cabin is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay. Very spacious for large groups. Kitchen had any and every pot, pan or gadget needed to make just about any drink or dish. Beds were comfortable, all slept great.Would recommend bringing dish towels and hand towels for all bathrooms. The dishwasher was broke for the week so we went through many towels. Hopefully it is fixed now.Would highly recommend and will return in the future! Thank you for the memories!

This property is absolutely perfect for a family ready to play. It was just as described and probably even better! The house is very well kept and great for a big family. We were unable to snowmobile, but had a ton of fun playing pool, playing games at the big table and exploring the area. We really hope to come back sometime and enjoy the snowmobiling!

The pups loved the water, my wife loved her morning coffee in the sunroom, I loved watching my son catch a 48” musky from the dock!! The pontoon rental was seamless and a great addition to our vacation. Kids loved the kayaks and the new wall games. The garage was a definite plus during a hail storm! I could go on and on! My wife wants to go back in the fall and cook Thanksgiving dinner in the gourmet kitchen! Well worth every penny. Highly recommend!!

Great place for families. Lots of rules though.

Great week in a winter wonderland!! We stayed the week after Christmas 2019 in this great house made for families! We loved all the open areas with the comfy couches, the wood burning fireplace that stayed going the whole week, & the pool table & dart board that kept the kids entertained and off their electronic devices! The kitchen was wonderful for baking, with lots of different cooking pans & dishes and tons of counter space. The big garage with an extra fridge, along with the small wine/beer fridge in the kitchen, helped so much. The yard was amazing for the kids to play in the snow and ride snowmobiles. Our only complaints would be the horrible water pressure in the showers, and the outlets that refused to hold any plugs. It was a pain to have to hold the plug into the wall and try to dry your hair. A good updating on the electrical plugs in all the bathrooms and bedrooms and something to make the water pressure better would make this house close to perfect! The Hiller staff is top notch and was right there with anything we needed. We kept them busy with firewood delivery! We absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back!!

Nice sandy-beach access, flat back yard, and tons to visit within minutes, this is an ideal spot for families! We stayed at the Hiller Vacation Homes cabin and our stay was wonderful! It definitely exceeded our expectations. The house sits right on a lake which was gorgeous and in it self offered so many fun activities. The water and surrounding trees were truly breathtaking. The view from the big windows in the cabin made our stay one of a kind. Being able to wake up and look out the window at the lake and see nature surrounding you was amazing. The features in the house were also excellent. It was very spacious while also having a cabin feel. Our favorite feature was the kitchen. It had such a nice open floor plan that allowed us to be in separate rooms, yet still be together. There was so much cabinet space and counter space for us to cook and enjoy ourselves. The cabinets were a beautiful wood color and this cozy touch was seen all throughout the house with the wood beams and small wood details. Another feature we absolutely loved was the wood burning fireplace. It was so much fun to make a fire and sit around it together. It enhanced the cozy cabin atmosphere. We also had so much fun playing on the tennis court outside! Tennis is our favorite sport so it was really great we didn’t even have to leave the cabin to play. Overall, our stay was excellent and I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone seeking a relaxing, fun, nature filled getaway. The spacious cabin offered a coziness that made us feel right at home!

Fourth of July Stay at Towering Pines
This is a very spacious home and easily handled 8 adults and 6 children. Very nice kitchen and plenty of eating areas. Lake frontage was very nice with a good kids beach. Property could use an outside picnic table.
Two issues occurred during our stay. One of the drains from the kitchen sink was not attached properly and leaked. Management did get it fixed the day after we called.
Do not expect internet service at this property hence the reason for accuracy of online listing getting only two stars.
We did not have internet access our whole stay. We called numerous times but apparently management are having a dispute and management cannot get the provider to come and fix it. Neither the previous guest or the guest that rented the property after our stay had internet access. Be warned cell phone data service is also poor.

None of the furniture is comfortable--sink way down, can feel its wooden construction. Carpet needs shampooing--same stains as were there when we stayed there in September of 2016. Fireplace on/ off knob is temperamental, pilot light went out when we tried to light it.We were not informed of upstairs shower being out of commission. Had we been, I would have clarified that we expected guests.Christmas decorations still displayed in April--did not appear fresh. Lower kitchen cupboard next to waste basket comes off hinge. Adding at least one or two serving spoons to kitchen supplies would help.Spacious dining room table for playing games, pantry provides ample storage.

This is our second year at Towering Pines and our 3rd year with a Hiller Vaca home. The quality, cleanliness, and condition of the home has definitely deteriorated in one year and no upkeeps or changes from last year to things that were not working. I love the Hiller group though. They are so nice and accommodating and helpful but for the price we paid, I would hope for a place that is kept better. :( I will def rent again but looking for something less pricey and another lake.

I have stayed with my family several times at Towering Pines. Always a great experience. This is truly a luxury home with all amenities. Large flat lot. Don't even think about walking down 100 stairs to get to the lake. Sandy shoreline, perfect for swimming. Nice pier to dock your boat. Ultimate privacy. Catch plenty of fish right off the pier. You'll love the fire pit and the stone patio. Also enjoy the screen porch if the mosquitos are troublesome. Lost Lake has plenty of boating and fishing opportunities. Thanks for a quality lake home.
