Sayulita has become mucho popular for its romantic bay views, rustic-chic surfing vibe and its unique Bohemian lifestyle! As a bi-product, there are many new buildings going up across the whole town. (We have an inactive site next to us that has been inactive for over a year and no signs of being finished so our Villa is quieter than most places in town. )
Stay at one of the most beautiful and iconic Villas in Sayulita. Perched on the hill on the south side of the bay, you can see our majestic blue domes and elegant rounded architecture from anywhere on the Bay!
Town and the beaches are a 15 minute walk on the back dirt and cobblestone roads. We suggest having a flashlight with you walking at night and also suggest renting a golf carts. Our guest services team will gladly connect you with rental services for setting up golf cart rentals which can be delivered to the Villa. Most of our guests find this to be one of the most fun parts of their stay! We can accommodate 4 golf carts in our gated parking area and all spaces have charging outlets.
There are also many taxis for $5-$7 each way to and from town.
Infinite views of the Bay from the infinity pool and inside the Villa. The romantic decks, terraces, and patios await you as well as the calm lull of the ocean waves at night. Happy to answer any of your questions.
I look forward to sharing this unforgettable special place with you. Built with love and attention to detail.

Because of the 5 separate casitas, we booked for 10 people and it was perfect. The casita on the 2nd floor was the default hangout area as it was the largest. The roof was also a fun hang. We didn't spend much time at the pool together as we were busy in town but as many reviews say, the pool is small but still plenty big. The views are incredible, especially from the top casita and each room has plenty to make someone feel comfortable. The Zen suite is the least preferred of all the casitas as it's small and tucked back behind the building but it was totally fine and was enjoyable for the guest staying there. I thought the walk to town was closer but taking the golf carts was very fun. GET THE GOLF CARTS. Can't emphasize this enough. Fun and convenient. Was easy to check in and out and everyone was kind (as is the standard in Mexico). Would go back if I was with a big group again in Sayulita :)

Great stay place was amazing property manager got back to me on time and location was great. We stained a few towels unfortunately my teens used some sort of bronzer tanning lotion and broke 2 glasses but settled up with owner afterwards other than that it was a good experience

The photos don't really do the villa justice- it's stunning. Each floor is totally self-contained, but I'm glad our group had the whole place because the pool and outside area would be awkward to share with strangers. It's more a house than a hotel set-up. The cleaners came regularly and the house was spotless- everything you need included. I did try to get info from the property manager a couple times about a chef, but was able to find my own chef in town and set that up. The manager was prompt about fixing plumbing problems, however.

This was a beautiful villa on a hill overlooking Playa Sayulita. The villa accommodated all of our wants and needs. We had ample space for all and had time together and spaces to be alone when needed. My favourite part of the day was waking up and enjoying coffee while staring out at the ocean from the 3rd floor master suite. The architecture and landscape were amazing. Walks to the beaches were longer than expected and road was in rough shape but we did the walk several times during our stay. We spent a lot of time at a more quiet and secluded beach (closest to the property) and only went to the bigger more crowded Sayulita beach for surfing.
On the most part the house manager was responsive. We had an issue the first day when assigned space as we received access to only five of the six bedrooms. This was remedied on the second day when I requested the sixth bedroom as per property description. The pool is salt water, small but met our needs and we all enjoyed and loved it. The scenery from the pool that overlooks the ocean is second to none. If I was to come back to Sayulita, I would most definitely consider staying here again, especially if with a large group.

We loved our stay at the villa and really enjoyed all the beautiful hang out spots on each floor of the property. The only issue we faced was with the air conditioning on the top floor. It wasn’t working on 2 of the 3 days of the trip, and it made that space almost unusable since it’s the hottest floor of the house. Since it was Sunday the second time it stopped working, the property manager couldn’t have it fixed, so members of our party had to sleep on the futon on the middle level instead of on the top floor.

Very unique and beautiful place
amazing views and pool ended up being a big hit to cool down and not have to get to a beach. the separate apartments worked out very well for adult children (they absolutely adored the house). very convenient to town if you can go through gate at Hotel Amor- wifi down most of week so kids had to work in town which was disappointing

Beautiful stay in an incredible location!
We had a wonderful very brief stay at this amazing villa. We wished it could be longer! The location is perfect, ideal if you prefer the smaller Los Muertos beach. It's right out the back gate. The walk to the main beach is easy as well, with the added bonus of a stroll through the serene local cemetery. You are perched atop the bay with expansive views, but it is not necessary to rent a golf cart to get around. Easy access to everything. Our group occupied the entire villa, and we had plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. Beach equipment that was available to use which was a plus. Thank you to Ashley and Ben (managers) who arranged transportation for us back to the airport and offered recommendations for sunset drinks. Super helpful!

Amazing Experience
This was my first VRBO experience and my expectations were not very high but this blew us away. We rented the top floor of the property and were lucky enough to be the only ones staying in the house for our 3 night stay. We enjoyed the deck outside our room, the pool, and the pool deck and enjoyed every moment. We had rented a car and got lost getting to the hotel so Nick met us in town and we followed him back to the property and were so excited when we saw our accommodations in person. It was clean, comfortable and has spectacular views as you walk up the stairs, hang out on the deck, lay in bed or are taking a shower.
The location of the house was an easy 5 minute walk into town so once you are there you don't need a car if you are just hanging out in Sayulita.
We were a little shocked finding out you can't flush toilet paper but that was the only surprise we had (and it was our fault because we didn't read the paperwork Nick and Gabbi sent us ahead of time).
Overall, the service we received, accommodations and experience was perfection and would definitely stay here again on a future visit!

Paradise by the sea
Gabbi and Nick took amazing good care of us, from start to finish, arranging catamaran adventures, ziplining, home-cooked meal, transportation, super chilled Modela in the fridge. All we had to do was relax. August weather included thunder, lightning an amazing rainbow over the Pacific and dinner in the dark on the plaza. Villa Poema de Amor is so beautiful -- clean, comfortable and the views are nothing short of breathtaking. The on-site infinity pool has great views overlooking Sayulita, which is a great bonus. We look forward to our next trip!

Best Views ...and then some!
Gabbi and Nick - We LOVE it here. It's perfect for our honeymoon and feeds Michael's love of the ocean while allowing me, a shade dweller, to let the sun have it's way with me :). Thank you for setting us up so nicely.
As you predicted, our first evening included a fantastic thunderstorm, and everyday has unfolded to the simple pleasures close by - playa de muerte, and hidden beaches in the rocky cove alongside, a wedding across the way, an evening ritual of locals & music at the graveyard, smoothies at Villa de Amor, sunsets, uncluttered bay (no jet ski's yay!), and immersion into the local culture. Cannot imagine a more precious spot. Muchos Gracias!!!

Great Place
We rented the whole place (three floors) that easily fit two couples and two singles. We were attending a wedding at villa amore, the hotel right beneath the home. It ended up being the best place of all the guests. Highly recommended, very clean, incredible views and great service. I will be staying again.

Magic on the hill above Sayulita!
Our 9 day stay in Casa Rumi, on the top floor of Villa Poema de Amor, completely exceeded our expectations! The building itself is stunning, perched on the top of the hill overlooking the ocean, at the end of Calle Vista Mar.
The rooms in Rumi are magical. All round, no square corners, each with high domed ceilings made of brick, beautiful tile work, decorative angels, with exceptional vistas of the ocean, beach and sky. From the private terrace with palapa, there are views of the jungle and nearby casas. Pretty much a 360 degree view of the surroundings. The king size bed is a Sealy Posturepedic, hands down the most comfortable bed we've ever slept on in Mexico, and has really nice linens and pillows. Waking up in it and being able to look right out at a 180 degree view of the ocean and sky was an amazing way to start our day.
The kitchenette is very nicely outfitted, with custom made dishes. There is a coffee maker, toaster, blender, micro, small but adequately sized fridge, two burner gas stove, sink and all the utensils you'll need. We were welcomed with a pound of coffee from the nearby hills and a six pack of beer.
The modern safe in the closest has electronic key pad to enter your own personal key code. We felt confident leaving our valuables in it. And we felt safe at all times in town and on the property, which is gated & surrounded by a wall topped with scary sharp pointed cutters. Caretakers Francisco and Ines live onsite, which helps with security.
The bathroom has the most spectacular view of any bathroom I've ever been in! We needed the air conditioner at night to keep cool enough to sleep, but during the day we had the windows wide open to let the breeze in. The pool downstairs is large enough for 6 or 8 people to cool off in at the same time, but we were lucky enough to have the whole place for the 2 of us for 5 of our 9 days.
Down the back steps of the villa, only a 4 minute walk through the graveyard, is Playa de los Muertos, a small, clean beach where it is safe to swim--no big undertow--and a lifeguard on duty at times.
The photos are completely accurate, but really don't do justice to the expansive beauty you'll see. The property manager, Nick was extremely helpful during the booking process and met us when we arrived and walked us through, answering all our questions. Having gushed now for all these sentences, I think I'd rather keep this place a secret, because we are already planning our return trip!

Casa Poema de Amor ~ Sayulita's Best
Description comprehensive, accurate. Stunning views. Beautiful, sophisticated, yet simple accommodations. Clean and quiet. Fantastic service.
Romantic setting. The ocean is mesmerizing in all its moods. Enjoy long beach walks, eating fresh fish and fruit on the beach, playing in the ocean, shopping, lovely (affordable) candle light dinners with your feet in the sand or an evening in the town square. All just a short walk away.
Relaxing and fun for a couple, a 'girl's only' getaway or a family vacation.
Although new, Casa Poema is already in demand. Don't wait to go see and experience this lovely property!!

Wonderful Escape
My girlfriend and I stayed at Rumi - I believe we were the first guests. The sound of the ocean in the evening and the breeze with through the large windows, along with a sweeping view of the coast that can't be taken in with one glance made for a great romantic getaway. The suite was above board and we enjoyed having our breakfast cooked for us daily. There are steps that take you to the town and playa los muertos which are both a short walk. We would recommend this place to our closest friends!
