About this house rental
Enjoy a relaxing beach vacation at our beautiful place. Sun and ocean during the day; stars and sand at night. All new flat screen televisions in 2022. Breathtaking beach views on every level. We are Unit B (South Unit), a 2200 sf duplex with 3 living floors. Elevator with carport access .
Top floor has two king master suites. One oceanside with king bed and beachfront balcony and a second master suite with king bed. Third floor kitchen has breakfast bar and large island, large dining area, half bath, and beachfront living area with 43" flat screen. Bottom floor has two queen bedrooms, one bedroom with 2 sets of full size twin mattress bunks, large full bath, and laundry closet. Five flat screen TVs: 43 in main living area, 40' in both master bedrrooms, 32 inch in one queen rooms., and 40 inch in the second queen bedroom. Granite countertops, hardwood floors, and luxury vinyl planks in all bedrooms.
Carolina Beach is on an island. As such, we are at the end of the line when it comes to internet access, cable TV, telephone, electric and the like. There may be interruption to utilities which are beyond our control. If your vacation trip is dependent upon having perfect internet access, then you may need to look somewhere other than Carolina Beach. We experienced intermittent internet outage this past summer as did most customers on the island.
Located within walking distance to downtown restaurants, bars, shops and summertime beachfront amusement park. Downtown Carolina Beach is .50 mile north either by street or beach. Near Fort Fisher State Park and Southport Ferry. Parking for four vehicles. This is a non-smoking beachfront property and pets are not permitted. No events are permitted. High Season rentals (Memorial Day to Labor Day) are Saturday to Saturday rentals with a seven day minimum. Exceptions are possible but difficult during high season.

This house was great and with a great view of the beach. The kitchen was very well stocked and very clean throughout the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and the host was very supportive in our needs and great to work with. Will definitely look to coming back again!

Very clean and well appointed five bedroom duplex. Comfortable beds, a great couch, comfy chairs and lots of nice finishing touches. The kitchen was well stocked for making our family meals. Excellent views from the 2 balconies which overlook the dunes and the beach. Owner Craig was very responsive when we reported an issue with the the ducting for one of the AC vents and had a repair person out with minimal delay. Responded to all our questions leading up to the stay and during the stay very promptly. The house, location, and owner do not disappoint! You will love your stay here!

We had a fantastic week in this beautiful home! 4 adults, 4 teens and 3 twenty-somethings. The house accommodations were exactly as advertised. Comfortable bedrooms and excellent common area for our family reunion. The beverage fridge was such a great feature and one we will look for in any future rentals. Plenty of space to gather on the main level. Nice big couch for the movie watchers and a big table for the game players. The Adirondack beach chairs are perfect for the beach and nice and light so easy to carry. The location of this house could not have been better. A quick walk to restaurants, bars and convenience store. Only a short walk to the boardwalk and more restaurants and shops! We watched the Thursday night fireworks right from our beach area. The 3 decks are much larger than they appear in the photos. Plenty of space for several people to gather at one time. My only wish would be for an enclosed outdoor shower- but the shower and hose on the beach walkway certainly got the job done! Craig was very responsive to our many questions and easy to contact. We hope to return in the future!

This was a bucket list trip for me. My family has been coming to this beach each summer fir the past 50 years. We were never able to afford such a beautiful home, but it was worth every penny.
It was as described, clean, the elevator was a life saver. The kitchen was functional. The view was spectacular!

Loved the house had direct access to the beach. The elevator was a god send! Needs a few amenities however, like a chair and dresser in the Master bedroom, clean beds (sand and bugs under comforters on 2nd floor). Kitchen was well stocked, but had only 2 awful frying pans. Small things that matter.

It was very easy to go through the process of renting this property. The house was exactly as the pictures. Roomy and comfortable for 4 adults and 2 toddlers. Right on the beach picture perfect!

Hosts have a nice house with good amenities. It's well stocked with what you need. It's close to the boardwalk area - plenty of things to do, eat and play within walking distance. The host was excellent in communications and instructions. This house is definitely on my list of favorites.

We had a wonderful week at this rental. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the extra beverage storage was a nice bonus. The rental is comfortably furnished and we had plenty of room for our group of 9. The elevator is great for getting heavy things up to the different floors. The owner was easy to reach and quick to respond. I would absolutely stay here again!

What a great house for our family! My brother got married on the beach during our trip and on Friday my daughter got engaged! We made so many wonderful memories, we will definitely be back. The elevator was perfect for my elderly mother, we definitely kept the kids off of it. The beds are super comfortable, the decor is very well done. Very well stocked kitchen too!

Great location. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and extras we needed. We had a great time. Only complaint was the air conditioning on the 4th floor. It got pretty warm throughout the day. There are fans so it wasn’t enough for me to contact the owner.

This house was very thoughtfully designed and furnished with families in mind. 3 bedroooms on the first story, and 2 on the 3rd. The ocean facing rooms have spectacular views of the beach!! The kitchen is well stocked with cooking tools and the living room is super comfortable. This house felt luxurious to stay in with my older parents, husband, sister, and her 2 kids. We didn't even use all the available rooms.
The private walk to the beach is so convenient! And this house is only a 15 minute walk to the Carolina beach boardwalk!!
Craig was very responsive, helpful, and polite. I am really hoping we can come out here again!! It was seriously an amazing vacation thanks in no small part to this house! Thank you, Craig!

This house was perfect for two families. The two master bedrooms being upstairs and all the kids being downstairs was ideal. The house was clean and decorated nicely. Close to the boardwalk and nice balconies for all the floors.

We were looking for a property not
To far from town and we nailed it. Walking distance from most places. Only down fall we were ocean front But our beach access from the house was under construction the whole visit :( we made the best of it. Great home. Wonderful communication. We had an issue getting in with the code but Craig resolved it immediately.

One of the best VRBO's I have ever stayed. Great location. Easy access to the beach. Clean and nicely decorated. Spacious if needed. There was just my wife and I and a son visiting from Spain so we just used the upstairs two master bedroom suites.
Kitchen very well stocked!
Easy check in through key pad. An timely owner response when I had any questions.

The property was extremely well maintained, very clean, up to date, great location (beach, restaurants, shopping). Main floor was open and spacious. We only had a few people, but layout would sleep 12 comfortably (all beds, no pullouts or sofas). The weather was great too! :o)

Wonderful home and location for maximizing time enjoying the beach and ocean. Convenient to fish store and grocery. Kitchen is well stocked. Ocean views are spectacular and as a bonus you can see the sunset out the back kitchen window.

Perfect house for our extended family of 11 (ages 11-75). We loved the location, walkable to our favorite spot, The Veggie Wagon, and ice cream. More quiet than the boardwalk area, so we always had oceanfront umbrellas and no crowds. The beach was gently sloping with no drop off. House was in great condition. We only used the elevator to load and unload on the first and last day....we were nervous to have a service call, so everyone just used the stairs! Kitchen was a nice size for our family, adults at the big table, kids at the bars and plenty of room to cook. Only minor feedback, the 1st floor front bedroom could use side tables and a lamp for night reading. Otherwise, absolutely perfect spot! Communication with the owner was easy and smooth. Thanks! Hope to enjoy this spot again!

This was our second year in a row vacationing to Carolina Beach and we had another amazing experience. The house was a perfect fit for our group both young and old. Grandma and Grandpa had no issues using the elevator and it definitely helped them out instead of traversing the four separate floors. The kids slept comfortably in the bunk room and everyone else had their own en suite bedroom/bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the necessary items. The only two improvements we would suggest are 1) lowering the thermostat to something more like 70 degrees F and 2) fixing the outdoor shower so we don't track in as much sand. The owner was very responsive to questions and made sure any fixes were taken care of immediately. Perfect location within walking distance to several restaurants. Highly recommend this property!

This beautiful home was awesome! Relaxing decor, well stocked kitchen and ocean front! Exactly what our family wanted for our get away! Owner was quick to respond and super easy to work with. The additional beverage fridge was a great bonus, waffle iron and crock pot were awesome too! Thanks for an amazing week at the beach!

House is just as pictured on VRBO. Owners do a great job providing all the info you will need for the stay upfront and are very quick to respond to any questions. We had a great time. Pleasantly surprised at how quiet the house is. You can still hear the sound of the ocean but it’s light and not overpowering. Had no idea there was another family next to us other than seeing them at the beach and, like us, they had plenty of kids to make noise. House is well equipped, even better than expected. The elevator is very helpful for loading/unloading but be sure to follow the instructions exactly. We did have some operator error at times because we didn’t always do as instructed. Parking was sufficient for 2 SUVs, an F150 and a large sedan. Definitely recommend and we’ll look to rent again.

This is our second stay at this property and we were very glad to return! The location is perfect- walkable to our favorite restaurants, ice cream shops, and the boardwalk, but not so close that the summer crowd is on your doorstep. The beach side is not densely populated, either, so it's easy to spend long days on the Beach with the comfort of home just feet away. Just great! You'll love it.

This house was incredible! It was very clean and as per the description. The elevator worked very well for my friend that has multiple sclerosis as well. The 3 oceanfront balconies were awesome as well. My communication with the owner was answered very promptly as well. Amazing vacation house!

Clean, well-maintained property with gorgeous views of the ocean. The bedrooms were nicely decorated, nautical theme throughout the property. The location was great. Only a short drive to good restaurants, the boardwalk and the grocery store. The beach in front of the property was clean and not crowded, perfect for social distancing! We enjoyed our stay so much and hope to return.

We’ve rented many homes via VRBO in the past and this is one of our best to date. The owner was easily reached with questions about the property before our arrival and during our stay. The description online and in pictures are completely accurate. There were ample linens, kitchen plates, utensils and gadgets and the elevator was clutch! I traveled with elderly parents and mother-in-law who would not have been able to maneuver three flights of stairs. Even I used it when I was a little lazy! The location is literally walking distance along the beach to the boardwalk. The home is directly beachfront with very little crowding although it gets packed down by the boardwalk and hotels. The only negative which I do not blame the owner for is the hot water had a strong sulfur smell for the first 2.5 days we were there but cleared with more use. That does not take away from our great, much-needed getaway.
