Very easy walk to the beach and the restaurants. All of the finishes and furnishings were beautiful. Great marble baths, beautiful floors, and a very comfortable leather couch. The space is small but perfectly put together. It exceeded expectations.

A great weekend getaway location! We can’t wait to go back. Our toddler felt right at home with the cozy setting. The park , restaurant, brewery and beach being incredibly close was a plus. My husband and I loved the cozy firepit at the front patio for an evening drink and early morning coffee!

The condo was in perfect condition, just like photos. The location could not be better--five minute walk to the beach, to Am Trac station and multiple restautants/shops of quaint town of Carpinteria. All of the amenities worked fine with perfect and concise instructions. Fire pit in front patio was especially nice. Near all the action of Carpinteria but still quiet and easy to sleep through the night. Would definitely return.

It was a bit of a splurge, but after the last few years of no vacations we gifted ourselves this. And boy was it worth it! We hope to stay for longer next time. It was an ideal location in a perfect town and the most beautiful beach. The linens were so soft and the amenities were ideal. We can’t wait to come back!

We had another wonderful stay in Carpinteria. The location is wonderful. The apartment is well set up and very clean, and the fire pit is a wonderful place to spend evenings.

This is our second time staying in this lovely rental in Carp. Everything from the overall property, the fabulous outdoor patio and fire pit, the beautifully appointed apartment and the perfect location make our visits to Carpinteria absolute Bliss!

LINDA the property manager was awesome. If we needed something, she was there asap. The place was immaculate. The beach was steps away. My kids loved every minute. We will be back for sure. We can't wait!!!

Perfect 2 bedroom close to beach. Clean, updated, comfortable. Property management was great when we needed extra shampoo. Fire pit was great for toasting marshmallows. So close to the beach! Love this place.

Nice location. A short walk to the beach or to the downtown shops and restaurants. Had something missing in the room and the manager showed up within 10 minutes with a replacement.

We aren't new to Carp but it was our first time staying in this property and it was fantastic. Everything was brand new and clean and the check in process was extremely easy. The property is located about a block from the beach and perfectly situated to walk to all of the great little spots in town. The property manager was very responsive and we look forward to staying here again.

Overall, the week my friend and I spent in the Playa lodgings was wonderful. So much so, it was hard to head home. Linda came in an instant when we had a question and was unfailingly pleasant. The unit is nicely fitted out and was very clean. Our end unit had a small back porch along with the front patio, and we used both. The location within a block of the beach couldn't be better; my friend got up early and ran the beach each morning, and I headed down every late afternoon to swim and read and people watch until sunset. We did have some minor issues, however, and I want to alert folks to a few things: 1) The unit seems designed for tall people. I'm short (5'2") and have a replaced knee that is stiff. The baths are elegant, but the tub in the master bath is way too deep for anyone short with knee or hip problems to easily climb in and out. I switched bathrooms with my friend and even she, who is a few inches taller, had difficult getting out of the tub. The shower in the other bathroom was perfect for me in terms of mobility. The door hook, however, is so high that even throwing my towel up sometimes failed to catch it. It would be helpful to have a lower hook placed on the wall, or a suction hook placed in the shower. 2). The cabinets in the lovely kitchen are so high on the walls that I could only reach the bottom shelf. It would be nice if the unit(s) had one of those folding steps tools so getting things into and out of cabinets was easier. 3). The layout of the bedrooms seems designed for a couple and 1-2 children--which I'm sure is a more common configuration--not for two adults traveling together who are not a couple. My friend hit her head three times on the top bunk as she got into/out of bed; we had to pad the bed railing with beach towels. If the bunks will be kept (and kids surely enjoy them and fight over who gets which), it might be good to get the type of bunk bed set-up that allows the bunks to be separated into two twin beds when adults are using that room. While the room is quite small, I think beds set perpendicular to each another would work if only one adult was to be in the room, or the second bed/bunk could be temporarily put in the storage shed. In spite of these issues, we loved our time, it was difficult to leave, and I keep wishing I were still there. :-)

What a perfect condo; spotless, comfortable, perfect location, everything is within biking/walking distance , no need to even bring a car just take the train which drops off literally a block away. Linda the property manager is simply perfect; so good at her job. Linda is on the spot with any issues; she makes you feel like an old friend. I recommend this location highly; we will definitely return....

We totally enjoyed our few days at Playa Lodging. Linda was really helpful at check in making it all so easy. The accommodations are just what you see in the photos. Really comfortable and everything you need. The beds are super comfy. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front deck in the sunshine. A great spot in the cutest town-we definitely hope to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at beautiful Playa lodging. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed for our long weekend in Carpinteria. We were visiting for my son's lacrosse tournament at the Polo Fields. A very short 7 minute drive! The location is perfect. You are a block from the beach and downtown restaurants. I highly recommend staying at Playa lodging. We will be back!

We look forward to our stay each year. Linda is great, responsive, and she makes our stay as convenient as possible. The propery is clean and has all of the amenities needed. We would highly recommend this location.

This unit was beautifully decorated! There was a Keurig, Apple TV, and beach chairs & towels. The manager Linda is wonderful and checked on us daily. I will definitely stay here again!

Perfect location, comfortable bed, great kitchen, great patio for grilling, beautiful place, nothing negative to say! very responsive manager. we booked the two-bedroom this year for a little more space for our two kids.

Fantastic location from beach and main street shops and restaurants. Unit is stocked with all of the basics you'll need --- soap, shampoo, beach chairs, towels. The fire pit is amazing and even has a BBQ next to it on the front porch. Only real downside is wall between main bathroom and bunk bed room is thin so can hear conversations/shower.

We've stayed at this property a few times now. It's convenient to everything in Carpinteria; shops, food and beach. The home is newly updated, clean and so comfortable. Love it!!
