About this chalet rental
Our ABI Ashcroft is located at Aviemore Holiday Park, a 10 min walk from the train station and the centre of Aviemore which is a busy thriving community, there is an onsite restaurant/bar and the site is only a 5 min walk to the nearest Italian restaurant ,Indian restaurants and chip shop.
Accomodation
The accommodation comprises a comfortable open plan kitchen/dining /lounge with French doors out to the decking area, lounge area has large L shaped sofa ample seating for 6 also with a 32" flat screen TV, freesat box and a DVD player, the lounge also incorporates a wall mounted electric heater with living flame option for that cozy glow even when fire not required to be on. Dining area has table and seats for 4. The well appointed kitchen has a gas cooker with hob, oven and separate grill, integrated microwave and integrated fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery and pots, pans, glasses and utensils, everything that you will need to make meals for all your family needs.
Sleeps 4, There are 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom includes a king size bed, has large wardrobe and shelf space, ample drawer space, above headboard storage, dressing table with stool mirror and an en-suite. The second bedroom has twin beds, wardrobe, under bed storage and above headboard storage. There is also a double lift out sofa bed in the lounge.

Location
Aviemore Holiday Park is based closed to the city centre and offers access to all local services and amenities including restaurants, hotel, post office, bus transport, train station, fishing, bike hire, golf, tennis and bowls. There is also a great convenience store not too far from the site. The famous river Spey runs through the site and reasonably priced fishing permits are available from reception.
There is a coin operated washing machine and drier on site also a beauty and therapy salon beside the reception.
The area is great for lovers of the great outdoors. Walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and fishermen will be impressed by the spectacular scenery. Golfers are spoilt for choice here. Aviemore hosted a very highly rated golf course, and there are several others in the vicinity.

This chalet is in a perfect location to explore Aviemore and the surrounding area. The chalet was spotless and very well equipped. It’s much bigger than we were expecting. The site is very peaceful and within walking distance of shops, restaurants and a fantastic pub. Highly recommended!

Ian was an incredible host, with great communication leading up to and during our stay.
Our accommodation was the perfect place to return to after a day of exploring Aviemore and the Cairngorms, being warm, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable.

Very happy. The only thing which was an issue was that the laundry wasn't functioning. It was warm enough for us to wash and dry by hand in the end.

Wonderful short weekend break at the property to round off our Scotland road trip. Property well equipped, warm and cosy although weather was generally good. Location is so peaceful and feels rural while having all Aviemore has to offer just a short walk away and the excellent Old Bridge Inn on the doorstep. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wished it was for a few more days.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in aviemore. Great central base within walking distance of the town and eateries. Quiet site. Accommodation clean and comfortable in a beautiful setting. Lots to see and do in surrounding areas. Would return to the accommodation in future.

Caravan nice and cosy
Had a little difficulty finding the accommodation thankfully nice friendly people helped us .Missed having no Internet a few shops closed so left a day early

Great short break at Aviemore Holiday Park
We reserved this chalet/caravan due it’s short 10 min walk to the train station, as we travelled up from London for the October half
Term break.
The caravan was excellent, spacious main bedroom with great views across the park with the mountains in the distance. Ian was always there if we needed him and we recommend Mary’s homemade food over at the Aviemore Inn.

We need to go back for longer
What a wonderful site and caravan, have already told the owner of the caravan that we want to come back, only here a couple of nights so never had chance to try the on-site bar/restaurant, site lovely and quiet with views of the Cairngorms, caravan well specified including decking with good quality outside furniture, everything you need in the kitchen

Holiday aviemore
Had a wonderful stay enjoyed sitting on the decking watching the ospreys flying overhead with fish. Fishing in river spey. Everything you might need was there wish I could have stayed longer

Mid week break
Had an amazing couple of nights stay in the chalet . Very clean and everything you need . Lovely play area right outside the chalet where my 3 kids played and met friends. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again in the future.

This chalet/caravan was perfect! Spotless, well equipped, modern accommodation, in a most beautiful location with fabulous views!
Can't fault a thing, perfect for us as we enjoy the outdoors, so plenty of hillwalking and cycling, plus great places to eat in and around Aviemore , definitely will be back!

Fantastic Van and location
The caravan was like new and had everything in it you would possibly need. The external decking area was totally child and pet proof and even though the weather was not always the best we enjoyed some afternoon/evenings sitting outside.
Ian & Joyce were very contactable and helpful with any queries we had prior to booking and what they said we found to be accurate. We will certainly be using this caravan again.

Very homely comfortable stay
Had a wonderful stay. Very comfortable, clean and tidy. Well stocked with everything you would require for a stay there. Set in a perfect location, within walking distance of Aviemore. The park itself is well situated, quiet and well kept. Having been coming to Aviemore regularly for 30 years I will definitely be back to this accommodation.

the caravan was very clean,everything was well equipped and very warm. we loved our holiday. they didnt have any snow ,but it didnt spoil anything as there is loads to do in fact could have stopped another week. thankyou for a lovely holiday. would reccomend it .xx

Ferienpark in Aviemore
Sehr sauber und gemütlich. Für zwei Personen viel Platz.
Liegt in der Nähe der Cairngorm Mountains. Der Nationalpark ist gut zu erreichen. Man kann wunderschöne Wanderungen machen und dabei eine tolle Landschaft geniessen.

Excellent location for exploring and quality accommodation.
We were in Aviemore with our children for a few days skiing and exploration of the surrounding area. The holiday park was quiet and peaceful and a great location by the river, the ducks were well fed during our stay! It was clean and well kept with a bar on site which had a welcoming fire. My husband was able to watch the rugby and there were plenty of board games and a pool table to keep the children occupied. It was easy walking distance into town and to local pubs and restaurants. The caravan had everything we needed, it was really warm and immaculately kept. There was a good selection of DVD’s to keep us entertained when the snow was heavy. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for a great stay!
