Superb

What a wonderful stay. The staff are lovely, everything was clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds comfy. Loved the walks straight into the nature reserve.

It would be better with more outlets in the rooms, one near each bed. Also each bed could have its lamp.

Great stay!

Great check in time, staff were friendly. Big kitchen and dining area plus a lounge. I had the room to myself. Beds super comfy, rooms gave school camp vibes. Won't be able to sit up in the bottom bunks. I had no issues charging my phone. I would say about 10 minute walk into town. Great bathrooms that were clean. Note although it is called a youth hostel, people of all ages stay here.

Only one PowerPoint on the other side of the room. A bit of a walk to supermarkets/restaurants.

Friendly staff, comfortable accommodation with a decent shared kitchen and plenty of communal spaces to relax.

It’s so handy for everything you could want and the staff are always helpful. For the location and price you couldn’t ask for more.

super friendly staff, both late and early shifts.

members kitchen is a bit small when it’s that busy, another big fridge and another microwave would have helped a lot. v noisy group arrived late on Saturday night they were not respectful at all to everyone who was trying to sleep.

Easily accessible location, plenty of communal areas, well equipped kitchen, nice and warm, and kept clean throughout my stay.

staff were very friendly and helpful, good facilities and comfy beds

weekend was very busy so very little if any fridge space. Only two lockers in the dorm so can get a bit cramped with gear if you've got a full house

Location was perfect and quiet with good, safe off street parking.

Closest toilet was out of order. Not a huge problem as there were others.

Lovely place to be!

I really enjoyed my 3 days stay in Aviemore. The hostel is a good place, it‘s clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, the staff really lovely. I‘ve had so nice conversations with Hamish while I was drinking the best cider in the world. The hostel‘s got a drying room which is pretty important when you get totally soaked. :) The kitchen is well equipped and I was able to sleep without ear plugs, that means a lot! I will definitely return!
