About this cottage rental
Our cottage (Blue Crystal Hideaway) is an adorable little house located at the back end of our property behind our main house. It is only 1/2 block from the historic downtown district and 1/2 block off the historic loop. If you prefer not to walk downtown, there are multiple trolley stops nearby. You will love our romantic doll house with cathedral ceilings, fireplace, and jacuzzi, rose colored lace curtains, as well as antique furnishings. Equally charming is the cozy, attic-like feel of the bedroom space, igniting the spark of high romance and sweet memories of times long ago. Gourmet continental breakfast and a bottle of sparkling wine are included with your stay. You will also enjoy the quiet secluded location and occasional sightings of deer and white squirrels from your front porch. Enjoy the serenade of the many songbirds that live in the trees that surround the house. In addition, during evening hours, you can feast on the magical display of the fireflies in your front yard. Don't want to head out for dinner? Our cottage is equipped with a fully functional kitchen including stove, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, and coffee maker. Our place is ideal for couples but singles are also welcome.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely cottage and enjoyed the breakfast items provided! It was a close walk to downtown where we enjoyed live music nightly, access to restaurants and historic springs. There are also close diners and restaurants walking distance on the historic loop. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning and evenings and watching the wildlife and evening fireflies. Just a magical and peaceful environment for relaxing and reading. To future renters, please note that the stairs to loft bedroom are narrow, so make sure you can manage the stairs. Cottage was very cool on the hot days - very refreshing. Overall, we loved the area and the environment.

House is quite beautiful, and was so cozy to stay in! Would definitely recommend!

Overall a great place to stay with a clean, nicely decorated cabin very close to the historic district of Eureka Springs.
The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars are the sleeping and sitting arrangements.
Downstairs there is a love seat and two kitchen chairs and the bed in the loft is a full size bed. While the place is small and fine for two people it would have been nice to have a couch and a queen size bed.
Also just a note to climb up the loft you will have to go up a ladder with a very steep angle. It’s not difficult but if you have mobility issues this could be an issue for you.

My wife and I stayed here for anniversary. This was an absolutely wonderful quaint rental. Communication with the property manager was easy and excellent. There was champagne and orange juice (Mimosas) waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived as well as a variety of muffins for the 2 of us for each day of our stay (they were absolutely delicious)... to be clear, this was the " breakfast" mentioned in the ad which we were absolutely fine with. I felt that it was a nice touch and made us feel welcome. The place is located easily within walking distance from the downtown but be aware that the incline is somewhat steep for those who may have difficulty walking. In addition, the ladder going up to the bedroom is also quite narrow and steep... enough that it would be difficult to carry a larger/heavier suitcase up or somewhat challenging if you have difficulty walking. However, I actually felt that it added to the quaintness and charm of the place... reminded me of when I was a kid and would sleep in a loft. We definitely will consider coming back to this place in the future.

(I know it should be "blew" and not "blue" but I couldn't help myself since it's the Blue Crystal Cottage). Seriously, though, it's bizarre how a place can feel like it's in the middle of no where but you're actually a few minutes WALK from a coffee shop, shopping, and more. Everything was perfect. After the drive we unpacked and immediately got into that Jacuzzi tub. My husband definitely enjoyed the fireplace. He sat on the love seat and read while I was sleeping a lot. Or the porch. He reads a lot and I sleep a lot when we're on vacation. Actually, that's always true but it's better when you're on vacation. While in Eureka Springs we did a ghost tour, shopping, I think we went to The Brews everyday, went on a trail ride, and after we'd packed up we even hit Cosmic Caverns on our way home. I ate ALL THE MUFFINS. My husband drank all the mimosas (I did try some but I just don't really drink. Personally, I could have spent the whole vacation in the cabin and been pretty happy. We left a message in one of the little diary things under the TV but it seemed like we were the first people to do so for over a year. I would 100% stay here again. My only regret is that we were only there for 3 days. Also, the bed could have been bigger if you're sleeping 2 ppl in it but we're small and made it work.

This property is beautiful. The decor is incredible and the furnishings are comfortable. So quaint and the perfect size for couples. The grounds are breathtaking. Very easy to walk into the downtown area. Very isolated and quiet, yet mere minutes to the historic downtown shops and eateries.
Well stocked with toiletries and basics. Very enjoyable.
Highly recommend this property and host.

Our stay here was both comfortable and enchanting! It had everything we needed to to feel at home during our stay in Eureka Springs. We enjoyed watching the deer from the porch, curling up by the fire with books, and easily walking into the historic downtown whenever we felt like a bite to eat and a bit of shopping.
Despite being at the back of the hosts property, the cottage is very private and you are surrounded by nature. I enjoyed my stay here and would do it again!

Very cozy place to stay. Beautiful grounds.
The champagne and orange juice was a lovely touch.
Definitely need a upgrade on the mattress
That’s my only suggestion
We loved Eureka Springs. The town people were so friendly.

Cute and clean. Had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. Only real complaint was the steep stairs to the loft bedroom. It was more like a ladder than a staircase. We kept the bathroom light on as not to fall down the stairs if we got up in the middle of the night. My wife almost fell once but luckily was holding on to the railing. As long as you don’t mind being cautious as to the stairs… it’s a great place to stay. Quiet, private and close to downtown. Would come back again.

Wonderful Eureka Stay
Everything about our stay was perfect. We made some wonderful memories for our 20th Anniversary at this quaint lil place full of romance, right in Eureka Springs. Our host was very kind and generous and available if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend.

The Perfect Portal
My wife and I are celebrating 12 years of marriage this month. We, like a lot of couples, have needed to invest in our connection and to unplug from the day to day routine. This cottage was the perfect portal for us to walk through to achieve the reset we were needing. Look forward to staying again soon.

Very nice and cozy
The place was very nice and secluded. The decorations were interesting but tasteful. The setting of the cottage was beautiful and close enough to the property owner that is something we’re needed they were close.
They had muffins and juice in the refrigerator for us and plate setting all set that was beautiful.
The only thing is that the stairs are narrow so you definitely will want to go down backwards for safety. Also the bedroom is up in a loft with the ceiling angeled on either side of the bed, so watch your head when navigating the room. I bonked my head a few times. Lol
One of my favorite parts was the porch and the two chairs. It was very peaceful setting there in the morning doing our Bible devotions.
Overall, we enjoyed it very much. I recommend staying there.

Lovely Little Home
only issue was the stairs you have to go down backwards to be safe but not a big deal in my book. Love the little home and its layout. Very close to the main strip for shopping and eating. will stay again

Super unusual place. Not sure Victorian would be my first choice for a permanent home but it's great as a change. Great decorating skills

Great Cottage, Great Location
Excellent private cottage near center of downtown Eureka Springs. Exceptionally cozy and very welcoming hosts. Only improvement I could think of is if the cottage had WiFi.

Just Awesome!!!
We chose this place last minute and to be honest, most everything was booked. We thought we would be settling by staying here but we could not have been more wrong! The pictures do not do the place justice and it was amazing. The property owners I have a great place here and they take care of you in spades! We just loved it and we will definitely be back. We got married here this weekend and this place will lend to very fond memories!! Thanks Kathy!! We loved it!

Beautiful cottage with great location
The cottage was charming with a great location. The front porch looking out to the woods was great. We saw several deer and lots of birds. Only reason we didnt give a full 5 stars was the bed was a bit too hard for us. Over all a great place.

Nice weekend get away with husband
My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay! The hosts were very nice. Sweet bonuses that were included were fresh baked muffins, a couple glasses of sparkling wine, and the nature around us was stunning! I only have one negative and it has nothing to do with the owners, if you are looking for absolute 100% privacy just understand that they are essentially your neighbors in the same backyard but they leave you to your space! Very clean inside and out!

Quiet, Clean, & Cozy
The location is very convenient and easy walking distance to Ermilio’s restaurant and to The Intrigue theater. The property is easy to find and access couldn’t have been easier. The cottage is quiet, secluded, and is weeks away from being shaded by some towering trees (we went at the beginning of Spring Break). There was plenty of space for two, plenty of hot water, and we had the bonus of mimosas and fresh muffins. The cottage is “unplugged” (though cable TV is provided), but cell service was decent enough for streaming audio services.

Great place
Great little place tucked away in a private setting but close to downtown. Stairs are steep but lead to a quaint bedroom that is nicely furnished. Muffins were great and very easy check in and out process. We will visit again.

Cozy Tucked in the Hills
The house is so cute. We happened to be there on some cold, rainy (icy) days. The view of the trees covered in ice on New Years Day was spectacular! The muffins were very delicious and my (19yo) daughter was really excited about the orange juice. We found that turning the fan on brought the heat down to the lower level. That coupled with the fireplace and blankets made for a cozy get-away in wintertime.

The Perfect Porch
We enjoyed our weekend get-away in this cozy cottage. The owners thought of everything you might need and had a very detailed binder to answer any possible question. There are comfy chairs on the porch where we could see the stars and Christmas lights - it was beautiful.
The only downside was the mattress has seen better days. A new one would really help.

Great place to stay in Eureka Springs
We really enjoyed our stay here! Everything went smoothly and the property was exactly as advertised. (Also, the muffins were delicious.) Would definitely recommend!

The property is located in a quiet and quaint street.Parking was ok.
If a person is older this wouldn’t be the place for them. A very steep and narrow ladder to loft where the small bed is located. Not easy to get up and down for an older person. You pay $60.00 for cleaning and a note is left to wash your dishes.

Lovely little place
We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Crystal Hideaway. It’s very cute and quite convenient to town. As other reviewers have noted, the staircase is just as narrow and steep as it looks—not a problem for us but people should be aware.
I’d definitely recommend this place for a romantic getaway.

Wonderful Weekend
Wonderful weekend in a very intimate private setting. Everything about the hideaway is well thought out and accounted for, very impressed the overall all experience. We will defiantly stay there again, and look forward to setting on the porch sipping fresh coffee this spring! Thanks for a wonderful stay and perfect New Years weekend.

Super cute and very private!
Beautifully decorated with antiques. The location is great. It is also walking distance from an excellent Italian restaurant, and the historic downtown. We enjoyed the privacy and sitting on the porch. The only issue is that it is quite small and the stairs to upstairs are very steep.

We loved the Blue Crystal Hideaway!
My husband and I recently stayed at this darling little cottage for a quick baby moon and enjoyed it very much! It was very private and charming. We loved the location, it's close to everything and just down the street from Oscar's Cafe, fabulous place! Thank you Kathy and Gary for the wonderful weekend! You have a beautiful little place :D Looking forward to coming back again!

The cottage was quiet, secluded and very romantic.
Gary and Kathy were excellent hosts. The location was perfect just one block to downtown shopping. We ate dinner our first night at ermilios which was a short walk away. Highly recommend if you like fresh Italian. The cottage has all the things you would expect. I would highly recommend staying here.
