About this cottage rental
Summershade - is on the side of a mountain, nestled in the woods. Floor to ceiling windows flood this cottage with natural light and beauty... And features stained glass in a rambling wisteria vine and dogwood motif, (a real gem!). A classic design with a nod to the past, the old fashioned wicker porch swing will take you to that place... "somewhere in time" a winding stairway to the loft bedroom reveals a glorious view. The waterfall jacuzzi (** NO OUTDOOR HOT-TUB ON PROPERTY **) and glass shower over looking the tree top deck (with porch swing) will complete your escape...
If your heart's in the country...Or longs to be... We invite you to come share in the sweet quiet and serenity that awaits you in your place to come home to...
Hike off the point, down to the old bench road, and in the springtime, discover one of the natural springs trickling down the hillside.
Climb the moss covered cliffs that line the path and explore a small cliff dwelling.
Picnic atop flat rock!!
In the mist of morning - catch the white tail deer grazing the countryside, squirrels busily scampering, and the birds chattering. It's doubtful you'll see the elusive wild turkey, but you'll enjoy their early morning sounds. Our fox family, dens nearby and can be seen midday frolicking in the meadow. Meander through the meadows where the gentle breezes stir the wind chimes.
Our home, which is located on 20 acres, on top of a mountain over looking hundreds of undeveloped wooded acreage, is a much loved and pampered place. It is shaded by huge old oak trees, a rock garden alive with flowers, and soothing sounds of a trickling brook, gently water falling into a lily laden fish pond. Walk the lighted pathway, through the water garden, cross the natural rock bridge and rest for a while - to enjoy the sounds of nature. Come share in the breathtaking views...

Let’s just say overall the cabin was beautiful, the view was gorgeous. Everything we wanted just didn’t get the romantic hot tub like we planned for. If the hot tub didn’t have black worms

Beautiful and secluded. Cabin was well stocked and had thoughtful little touches. Jacuzzi was wonderful and the deck was a great bonus. Would stay again anytime.

We wanted a romantic weekend getaway and this was just that! A cozy little space with everything you need to spend some time with your partner. We were huge fans of the jacuzzi and loved the little fridge/sink/stove combo, as well as the large bed. The windows looking out into nature were very pleasant. There’s no wifi but we weren’t looking for that anyway (just in case anyone is wanting to book with wifi). Great place to escape and close enough to downtown Eureka to do all the fun stuff but far enough to be romantic and secluded. Would recommend!

Nice place to relax - especially in the tub!

Cabin was outdated, musty smelling ,warm ( stayed Memorial Day weekend) First night we were there was a tornadic storm , alarms going off at 4am we lost power , had no idea where we should go to take cover in this event and wasn’t notified by property manager as we were in a tiny cabin full off glass on one side . Needless to say we got no sleep , only 1 small window unit so the cabin got stuffy quick . I text manager at 7 am and response was yes , guys are working to get power on so many without power. We left for awhile getting ready with no power etc , came back at 3 pm still wasn’t on . So at this point the cabin smelt terrible and was really hot . All of our food in fridge was ruined , as I contacted the manager again to let them know we were going to drive back home ( 3 hours away) and wondering about a refund .. I was told people had died in that storm and hundreds of thousands were without power , and they’d refund us . This was all done in text . In my opinion it was handled very unprofessionally, our trip was cut short due to this unfortunate event , but I feel it all could have been handled better. Also there should be protocol for storms like that that people are dying in while we are sitting on the side of a mountain in a tiny home with a wall of glass and no clue where to go . That was very scary !!! I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it .

This place is amazing, out in the woods, yet a short drive to Beaver Dam/lake, or shopping, in town Eureka Springs. The 2 person infinity tub, and the views from it, and the glass shower are great. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

My wife and I were looking for a nice secluded place to spend a few days away from everyday life. Wow, did we find it! It was private, quiet, and close enough to everything that we didn’t waste a lot of time driving to experience all that the area had to offer! We’re already planning our stay for next year! Thank you Bonny, for an incredible home away from home!!

The cabin was in a private location and easy to find. Privacy when we wanted. Swimming areas near beaver lake were pretty close is you don’t mind driving a little. Eureka Springs was also only about 20 minutes away. Our stay was pretty relaxing.

My girlfriend and I had a great stay. Secluded location, but not too far away from downtown Eureka Springs. We loved the floor to ceiling windows and the jacuzzi. I ended up proposing to my girlfriend here and she said YES! So, this place will always hold a special place in our hearts.

If you're looking to escape the craziness of everyday life, this little cabin is perfect! It's remote enough to be nice and peaceful, but close enough to town to run and grab dinner, or anything you forgot to pack. The view from the deck was beautiful. Bonny was great, very sweet! We'll definitely be back!
