The peaceful living space is filled with natural light from the sunny windows. Interesting architectural details create a unique and dramatic vaulted ceiling that’s highlighted with rustic wood finishes. The whole family will love to kick back here in the evenings for your favorite TV show.
The open-concept kitchen allows for plenty of socializing. Natural wood cabinets are topped with gleaming granite countertops. A convenient peninsula bar has bar seating for two, while a glass-topped table makes a cozy breakfast nook. As always, everyone ends up in the kitchen— and your whole crew will love gathering here over blueberry muffins and fresh-squeezed OJ in the mornings or snacks and cocktails before dinner.
A pass-through bar has even more seating and leads into the spacious and bright game room. With a full-size pool table, a comfy futon, and sweeping views of the canal below, this is a family-favorite spot to unwind with a game or two— and maybe a friendly wager. A washer and dryer are located nearby.
The first of three bedrooms is located just off the living area, allowing for sparkling views of the canal. This bedroom has a queen-size bed and a twin-over-twin size bunk. Lots of windows flood the room with bright, shimmering Texas sunshine.
The second bedroom is a camp-like bunk room and is located off a short hallway. With two twin-over-twin bunks, plus another built-in twin-over-twin space, there’s room for six people in this room. Across the hallway, the master bedroom has a king-size bed and a full ensuite bathroom. Another full bathroom with a tiled step-in shower and a beautiful soaking tub is accessible from the hall.
Nestled into the quiet community of Sea Isle, this home boasts tons of outdoor space to soak up the sun or relax in the shade. The second-level deck wraps around the entire home and provides plenty of unobstructed views of the shimmering canal and the peaceful neighborhood.
On the ground level, the covered barbeque area has a charcoal grill and outdoor shower. The covered boat slip is ideal for parking your boat or simply casting your fishing line off the dock. An additional fridge, sink and half bath are also conveniently located here. And when your crew is ready to explore, the dining, shopping, and entertainment of the Galveston Strand are a short drive away. The Sea Isle Beach access point and West End Marina and Restaurants are also close by. Gather up your whole group and let them know you’ve found your new home-away-from-home on the Texas coast.

House has a lot of plumbing issues. The ac stinks smells like sewage from 4-7 pm.. also it’s not a 4 bedroom house .. and also get prepared the house is for sale apparently so you will have random people coming during your stay.. he asked me if I was with the cleaning which I did not like he was extremely rude when he got there.

This property looked great online, however when we got to this property it was not what we expected. From walking into the property it smelt horrible. The refrigerator did not work properly unless we tied it shut, and smelt horrible. The left side of the sink would never drain. The dishwasher was leaking the whole time. Our kids could not play pool because the balls kept falling out is the pockets because they were broken. The trash cans were full when we got there and smelt horrible. The experience was not what we expected and we were very disappointed.

This house should not even be able to be rented. Plumbing is horrible, rugs in the house were so nasty and full of pee I assume because the dirty dog smell was awful. Whole house smelled musty and the railing around the house is not safe. Loose leaning boards. Pool table had holes in several pockets and it was nasty and stained as well. We were very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Great Location! Very easy to find and Host had amazing communication.

Perfect size place for the four of us. Was a nice little trip!

We stay 5 days , the house is comfortable and nice, we definitely come back

Location was great and very close to the beach and outside of the main Galveston strip. So, if you like having beach space or not being ontop of other beach goers, the west side of the island is a beautiful place to stay.
4.3
It was an enjoyable stay. Plenty of sleeping space for large families. We enjoyed seating outside in the evenings and fishing but everything we caught was fairly small. We would stay here again!
4.3
The house was great! It was clean and just what we need for our 20 year old daughter's birthday. Her cousins and friends came for the night. They enjoyed swimming in the canal and the pool table.

The place and surroundings everything was great. It’s calm and so Peaceful.
But what was listed in the guide book was not there. The boat was not there and no hanging chairs in the ground floor. We thought of going out for fishing but was disappointed for this . Apart from this everything’s great.

Liked the house. It was clean. Liked being able to fish off the dock!

Did some night fishing right off the dock! Great family time!

Stayed here with my family recently and we all had a great time.

Needs some major upgrades.
Rooms were small, layout of house was very odd. The price was outrageous compared to the houses we normally stay at which are much bigger and a lot nicer. Lights outside to fish did not work, the fridge smelled really bad, the rooms are way smaller then they appear in the pictures. I will not rent this place again at that price. I am extremely glad that one couple did not show up.

I spent time with friends and family at this property. The property was in a nice neighborhood and away from the hotspots in Galveston. I've rented plenty of homes in Galveston and on the bolivar, this rental is currently at the bottom of my list of places to book in and around Galveston.
Only two full bathrooms, nothing else. An outdoor shower downstairs doesn't count as a half bath (Half bath = sink and toilet but no bath or shower). Where is the third toilet? The bathrooms had large gaps between the wall and the actually knobs, water can clearly drain into the walls and cause mold.
Internet and TV did not work the entire weekend. We have three IT people present that believe it was either hardware or an ISP issue. I tried to communicate to the host but it was just to much trouble to get signal to send a message or even a call. Most of us have T-Mobile so there was no reception at all. I personally didn't mind this as we were all there to spend time and reminisce a recent death in the family. However, a few were upset they couldn't connect to watch the Astros on Oct 15 and 16th. One of my friends had an assignment due Saturday for her masters program. Luckily she had one bar in the middle of the street to submit.
The Game room looks to have been the upstairs outdoor patio area that they closed the walls in on. The floors and pool tables were unlevel. All but one of the cues had a tip, however, that tip was barely 1 mm thick. If anyone is sitting at the "bar'" you can't play, not to mention the wall is already in the way, also a huge second fridge in front of the washer and dryer.
The stove does not have have a vent even though it's backside is to an exterior wall. Anything you cook will just roll up to the microwave, onto the ceiling, and into the living room. Luckily we brought two skillets and extension cables. We were able to cook bacon and other things outside so we wouldn't stink up the house/ rooms.
The floors were raising in some parts of the house that made it easy to trip on. In the living room and the game room. The front entry barely locked, you had to life up and lock the door.
My rating is generous because the location of the property. The house is in bad shape and I would not rent here again. I wouldn't be surprised if this house fails all pieces of a home inspection.

10 of us stayed and there was plenty of room for our whole group. The pool table was nice for the boys and everything was very clean.
We loved being able to swim and kayak in the canal especially on red flag days.
Great house and quiet neighborhood, close to nice sandy beach.

The location was great, we all enjoyed swimming and fishing in the canal. The beach was a couple of minutes away and was fantastic. The property itself was not very good. We were hit with a heavy mold and mildew smell when we walked in. There was an Oreo left over from the previous renters that was missed during the cleaning process. I had to clean the filter and the fins on the air conditioner in the bunk room just to get it to cool. I had to continually tighten the screws on the door handle leading into the house. The outside shower never worked, even after reporting it. We have stayed in 12 vacation rentals all over the US. There has never been one in such bad condition.

The manager was nice and check-in easy, but this property was nothing like we expected by the pictures and price. First of all it is TINY, but it also appears that they tried to paint and lay flooring over a rotting house. The entry door gaps and barely locks, the floors have soft spots all throughout where you literally sink down when you take a step. If anyone (even a child) walked across the house, the WHOLE house would SWAY! The sunroom/entry ceiling is bowed. There are two showers inside, but the knobs are basically falling off and if you are running hot water in one bathroom, you cannot get any in the other. We literally had to shower one at a time, which was hard with a big family. There is a separate bathtub in the main bathroom, but it has a shower-head attached to it that won’t move and sprays water on the drywall when the water is running. The faucet in the bathroom sink is wobbly- to the point is leans. A couple of the kitchen cabinet doors are broken. The master bedroom door doesn’t shut, and the handle was falling off of the other bedroom door, so neither bedroom provided privacy.
Our first night there, when we went to climb into the beds, the sheets were not clean. I had to strip and wash all bedding at 10:30pm with tired children. I stayed up most of the night cleaning.
We tried to make the most of it for our children’s sake, but this was the worst vacation rental we have ever seen. The structural damage is scary.

We spent spring break here and we’re sad to leave. We rent in Sea Isle several times a year, and we will definitely return to this property. We really liked that the indoor living space was so open. The two “bunk” rooms were great for our teenage girls and their friends. Another plus was having towels for each bed. While we didn’t have a guest in every bed, we definitely used all the towels without having to do a bunch of laundry.

We rented this lovely home and the one right next door for our group and couldn't be happier with both! This home has a real classic beach vibe and the game room & pool table were a big hit with kids and adults alike.
