Such a wonderful home for our family trip. Had everything we needed and more. We loved outside area and they had all the beach items we needed. Kitchen well stocked was a plus. Neighbors were nice and we were close to shops stores eateries and more.

Our family of 7 Adults and 1 toddler stayed comfortably in this house. The location is perfect to walk to Belmont park, the beach or the bay. Beds were comfortable and the house was set up well. The back yard firepit and Bbq were perfect for our group.

The home is full of historic charm. Easy access to the beach without crossing big roads. We did fit our Rav 4 and a Toyota Siena Van both in the garage and another Toyota Siena in the ally area behind the garage. We made good use of all of the beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, and wagon. The Firepit in the front yard was a gathering place hit in the evenings. The living room was big enough to accommodate the twelve of us and a few dinner guests. Everyone said their bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was in great working order and well stocked with needed items. On the downside some of the individual room AC unit’s were very noisy or just never got cool. The trash cans on the side of the house were covered in flies and maggots so take spray to keep them to a minimum. .

We enjoyed this property and it's close proximity to Belmont Park and the shops and restaurants off Mission Blvd. The firepit outside was a nice gathering place for everyone to keep warm in the cool evenings.

The house was clean with plenty of beds for 8 people! There were also plenty of towels. There was a garage to park one car, and space alongside for a second car. The firepit was especially nice as it was a bit chilly in the evenings, but was an excellent place to gather and chat. The house wasn't on the beach, but a short walk through a friendly community to the beach. We met several families who owned a house in the community. I would definitely rent this house again, and recommend it to friends and family.

The house is adorable! So close to the beach and Belmont park is perfect for the kids. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The only downside is the very limited parking at the house. We had to use public parking for the suburban become it was way too big to park at the house. Perfect house if you are traveling with kids.

A really nice home in a mostly residential area with just enough commercial establishments nearby to fill the bill. It is just one property away from Mission Blvd and one block away from the amusement park, but there are no issues with noise at all.
What we liked best: a bedroom / bathroom and the living area on the ground floor.
What we found most challenging: fitting our two cars in the garage. We had a regular SUV (Mazda CX-5) and a small sedan (Volvo Polestar 2), which did both fit in the garage, but with no room to open the driver's door of one of them. We climbed out through the passenger side. But this is the story with every property in Mission Beach. We often parked one car on Mission Blvd, which, in this area, has no time restrictions.

This was a perfect location and house for a beach vacation. While not ocean view, just step away from easy beach access. Close enough to run back for drinks, snacks, toys etc. Great supply of chairs and sand toys and wagon to haul. Several great places to grab food/coffee/smoothies from a bock away. So close to so much I was worried it would be noisy, but was always quiet at night and felt safe and secure despite the bustle. The garage was convenient, loved having the laundry, the kitchen was very well appointed with everything you could need, and loved the private outdoor space to hang out in. We had two families--one family of 4 and one family of 5. Five kids age 7 and under with 4 adults. The home was perfectly spacious, comfortable beds, clean, complete kitchen, lovely outdoor space, and a perfect location. Easy walk to the beach. It is also a great location (short Uber/Lyft) if you want to visit Sea World, which we did for 3 of the 7 days we stayed here. The property manager was very responsive. All in all a great experience. I sent the VRBO listing to several other friends to suggest this place!

The kitchen was well appointed with nice appliances and everything you would need. Living room was cozy & comfy once we found the space heaters.
The outdoor space was disappointing with the construction across the walkway, hammering, saws, etc., yes, on Sunday also!! A look on google earth will tell you when this is done. Also, by city order, the fence was removed, and 12' to 18" or so of the turf. Thus, could not all sit around the fire pit as the furniture was not to be moved. Once the fence is replaced, and all is relocated to fit the space, and the construction is done, I trust this will all resolve, but not for us!
A notice that the garage is not attached and a note as to where the key is located would be helpful.

We had a great time! Easy walk to Belmont and the beach. Delicious tacos at Marcy’s a 2 minute walk away, and an easy drive to Ralph’s in PB if you need a more featured market. Plenty of reserved parking (although definitely check the dimensions of your car vs the garage. It’s a tight fit for sure) which removes a lot of stress of going to the beach. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a lovely beach home away from home!

Our family (7 adults, 1 baby) gathered for the holiday at the beach. Here are some of the reasons we gave this rental a perfect score: spotless house, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, easy walk to the beach (so close!), inside and outside gathering areas with enough space for us all, great gas fire pit with chairs (this was our favorite), easy entry, & quick replies to questions. Cleanliness is so important for us to be comfortable. This home was perfect- pristine sheets, kitchen towels looked new, as did the fluffy white bath towels. The extras in the kitchen were an unexpected plus. Pots, pans, utensils all really nice quality! I have never had such sharp knives and kitchen scissors in a rental. We loved our stay and wished we were still there!

This home was the PERFECT location for our family to stay. The location was wonderful for our 5,9, and 11 year old grandchildren and their parents to access the beach. We also were very happy for the close proximity to Sea World and the zoo and not far from the airport. Some really great places to eat within short walking distance too! The beach toys, wagon and chairs were a great help for our kiddos to enjoy the beach. The house was setup with great appliances, utensils and grill and had tons of towels for the beach and the bath. Firepit was another big hit in the evening. Thanks so much for your part in making our first trip to San Diego a HUGE success. The Montana family!

Mission Beach Easter Stay
We had a wonderful stay at the beach house- couldn’t ask for a better long weekend! More than enough room for 7 adults,2 children- clean, comfortable, well -equipped with kitchen utensils as well as beach gear. Great location- we would love to comeback!

We had an amazing time! The home was centrally located! It was in a great neighborhood that was within walking distance to restaurants, the beach and the bay!! The cleanliness of the house was great. Beds were comfortable. All the accessories were great. I can't say enough!!! Thank you for helping my family have such a wonderful vacation!!!!

Great location with plenty of space
This place worked out perfect for our trip. There was plenty of space for everyone and was exactly as the pictures showed. The outside area with fire pit was the main attraction and where we spent most of our evenings since it was in January and a bit chilly when the sun went down. The beach is a short walking distance away and so is Belmont Park. Both which provided plenty of entertainment for the kids. Host was great and very accommodating. The only thing I would caution is that the GPS took us to the wrong side of Mission Beach Blvd originally and it took us a bit to figure that out. We got there very late at night which made finding the place and figuring out how to get in a little more difficult. I'm sure it would have been more straightforward if we had arrived while still light out. Other than this, it was a great place to stay. We would definitely come back and I very much recommend it.

We came to visit family for the holidays and for vacation too. The house was the perfect spot for our kids and grandkids. There were 10 of us in total and we had plenty of room for everyone. We loved being a couple minutes from the beach. They have all you need for a fun day at the beach with chairs, toys, and beach towels. Even though we visited during a cold and rainy spell, it was a fun place to be. It is a short walk to amusement park, restaurants, and shopping. The grill and fire pit were a huge plus! If we ever make it back to San Diego, I would definitely stay here again.

Family friendly beach house
Very clean property in a good location. Had a great yard for.kids to play in and a safe walking path to beach for young children. Everything required for beach was provided. We enjoyed our stay The only down side was the noise at night.

Great location- close to everything
The house was just as advertised- really furnished and decorated well, clean and had everything we needed. A quick two minute walk to the beach. The neighbors across the court were really nice and we enjoyed chatting with them from time to time. There was a huge, outdoor party thrown by the next door neighbors on the 4th of July that apparently they do every year. College kids, DJ, security guard, etc... It was crazy to see how many people they were able to pack into the outdoor space over there. We were out most of the night, and when we did come back to the house, it was pretty much soundproof when we went inside and shut the doors/windows, so it didn't bother us. We were impressed by how little we could hear, actually! Overall, great place and we would definitely stay again!

Best appointed beach house we’ve ever stayed in!
Everything a large group could ask for in a rental. Brand new kitchenware, new in the plastic beach chairs, bath and beach towels galore! Brand new, top of the line BBQ grill. Neighborhood gets really loud on Fri & Sat nights…but that’s to be expected to a degree. Short walk to beach or bay, even for the little ones. Highly recommended.

Cozy and cute!
Great location! Steps from Belmont and the beach. Cute house. We greatly enjoyed the front patio, firepitt and the outdoor grill. My only complaint would be there was no garage opener on the garage and the garage could only accommodate 1 small car only. The second car spot is to parallel park in front of the garage blocking the car inside the garage. So we were constantly having to shuffle the cars/parking spots. Overall, it was a nice place to stay and to enjoy a few days in Mission Beach!

Family vacation
My family and I had a great time! The house was close to Belmont Park, the beach and restaurants. It was quiet in the evening and not too crazy during the day. We would stay here again.

*Owners refused to work with us to cancel due to COVID surge & SD lockdown. Arrived 1 day later than reservation (due to a major car accident) to trash, boxes, garbage, and old couch blocking garage. Took pics & Owner told us to move it ourselves. Got inside the home and it was trashed, never cleaned, not COVID safe or dissinfected. Took pics, called the owner who wanted us to go & come back that night so they could get it cleaned. They had 2 extra days to ensure it was ready. They were totally unwilling to work w us to discuss the covid lockdown or cancel some or all of the reservation, then expect us to come back at night (after a 6 hr drive) waiting for it to be cleaned. That was not acceptable to us, Owner said he would give full refund. Wife online w VRBO on recording agreed to give full refund. They chose to give partial refund & keep the cleaning fee. Cleaning fee?! LOL. VRBO will not reimburse their fees until full refund is provided. Owners did not care. Called Owner & I was very calm & polite. Owner hung up on me. We did not stay even 1 night in their house. Unfortunately for Owners since they didn’t provide a full refund, I was asked if I wanted to review my ‘stay’. Yes I do VRBO, thank you for this opportunity to warn other people. DON’T DO IT. You’re welcome ;)*
