Strict NO Pets Allowed. This exceptional Mediterranean custom home has amazing Pacific Ocean views from upper Marine Terrace. This exquisite home sits atop a beautifully landscaped ½ acre parcel backing up to 400 acres of open space. A private gate opens up to an array of hiking and biking trails that lead to the ocean below. Cherry wood, marble and granite set the backdrop for this beautifully appointed home. Brand new furnishings include organic cotton mattresses and finely crafted Amish furniture. Tiffany lamps, overstuffed couch with love seat and leather chairs with ottomans all surround the marble fireplace and the 42”LCD HDTV with premium cable channels. Designer outdoor furniture fill the spacious decks for ample out door dining and entertaining. A lovely umbrella patio heater and Weber Genesis Propane Grill complete the cozy outdoor environment. The Master suite with King bed includes an oversized two person Jacuzzi tub and a luxurious five headed marble shower. The Queen and Twin bedded rooms are on the opposite side of the home for added privacy with the spacious and fully equipped gourmet kitchen in between. We had family fly in to SLO Airport from out of state for a much needed vacation. The Oceanview Gatsby House did not disappoint! We were all very comfortable, home had everything we needed. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front ocean view deck, making meals in the well stocked kitchen and exploring the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. The weather could not have been better! Scenic Coast Property Management is wonderful! We plan to be back again soon! Thank you for a Beautiful Retreat!

4th summer in a row at the Gatsby House. As always, very well appointed with beautiful art and lovely furnishings. We always enjoy our strolls at Fiscalini and Moonstone. Lots of baby deer this year a well as bunnies & quail. We miss Cambria already!

We have stayed in the Gatsby House a few times and will not stay anywhere else! The home is beautifully maintained and comfortable. And the location could not be beat. Functional and lovely kitchen and the bathrooms are clean and spacious. Comfortable beds and couches for relaxing. We enjoy breakfast and afternoon snacks with an ocean view on the beautiful front porch. Having direct access to the forest from the lovely yard is such a delight! We walk every day, exploring many directions, and the privacy from not having a neighbor on that side is an added bonus. The home is a very short drive into the quaint town. Also a short walk (though very hilly) down to the tide pools and rocks at the south end of Fiscalini Reserve.

This is a beautiful house. Went for a walk around the neighborhood and discovered a hiking trail nearby on our last day. Wish I had known about it sooner. This house is very luxurious.

We have been renting this beautiful home for about 6 years in a row. We just love the home and the area. It is a very relaxing home. The Roku, however, gives us pause. 5 controllers and three women putting their heads together are no match for the Roku! Less TV watched. But we had plenty of crocheting to do!

This was our third stay at the Gatsby house. We appreciate how well appointed it is. Having outdoor space in the front and back is lovely. Lots of nature around - birds, deer, quail, rabbits, lizards... It is so quiet as well. It is a wonderful place to take stress away. High quality furnishings. Good wifi. And you have the whole Fiscalini Preserve behind you.

The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked and is spacious. We enjoyed the views of the ocean from the front balcony porch. It's a short walk to various Fiscalini Ranch trailheads. While the property backs up to the preserve, the back gate was locked on our visit. The beds were excellent. While the decor of the house wasn't entirely our style, the furniture is quality and everything is comfortable. Given the tired castoffs we've seen in some vacation rentals, this was a welcome change!

Rented for a long getaway weekend with my wife. House was beautifully furnished and extremely clean with lots of comfortable lounging areas. Access to the trails was through the back gate and a short walk down to the water. Very well equipped kitchen in one of the cleanest houses we've ever rented. Great experience.

This is an easy house to stay in. Layout is good with bedrooms on opposite sides of the house. A very well stocked kitchen and house. Along with both a front porch and a back patio against Fiscalini. The only negative is that this is not the best house for sunsets. And a small note to the owner or Scenic Coast is it would be lovely to be able to remove the umbrella from the front porch to facilitate both watching the sunset and conversing with people. Otherwise, a lovely house in a very quiet neighborhood.

The beds were comfortable with plenty of covers. We left the bedroom window open at night to enjoy the ocean beeeze and it usually got pretty chilly. Walked each morning through the neighborhood to the Fiscallini Ranch Preserve for a 2 mile walk along the ocean. Please be aware there are a couple of steps into the sunken living room, up to the master suite and out to the front porch. Overall a wonderful and comfortable vacation home!

This house is clean and comfortable. We loved the area as it was extremely quiet, offered partial ocean views, and proximity to countless hiking trails. For example, the private gate to the nature preserve and trails was locked and offered us no access. The Jacuzzi tub, which was important to us in booking the house, was "off limits" per the signage on the tub due to drought conditions.
