We couldn't have been happier with our first trip to Cambria! The house was so comfortable and perfectly located to get to all the sights in Cambria. We hiked, tasted wine, saw whales, shopped, dined, and even saw a shooting star💫

When we arrived last Friday our breath was taken away. The house is beautiful, and the grounds well manicured. We couldn’t wait to walk inside and see the views from the decks. AMAZING!
Everything was great with this house. it's cute and cozy sitting around the fireplace.
Had plenty of kitchenware and very well organized, it provided things that everyone needs when they travel.
It was a truly relaxing time at this house. We loved how close it was in distance to walk the preserve. We had such a great time and we plan to visit this house again!

The views, closeness to the town of Cambria, and the cleanliness of the house were all top notch. Our family included parents, grown children, and grandchildren. We live in different parts of California and came together to spend time in a beautiful setting. There was plenty of room for us all and the house had everything we needed to be comfortable. We loved how the kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you for a great stay!

This property is overall a great experience with many great amenities and a beautiful view. The only caveat is that the property does have stairs. So, for those older folks, this could present a challenge. Otherwise, plenty of bathrooms with shower facilities. Great kitchen with modern oven. Coffee grinder available as well as drip coffee maker and even a tea kettle, manual and electric. Plenty of parking in front of house. Overall worth it.

The home was large enough for our family of five adults. Beds were very comfortable. Very much appreciated the thoughtfulness of night lights everywhere and labeling of everything (how to turn on fireplace, lock doors etc.) House was very clean. Had lots of laughs with all the board games provided.
Note that the fourth bedroom with bunk beds is more of a loft (no wall only a curtain divide). Lots of stairs which were no problem for us but maybe for those with mobility issues.

Had a great time. My mother in law brought her dog because her other dog just died and didn’t want to leave it alone since they were siblings and never alone got charged the $:0 fee but I understand that you
Can’t pick and choose from one scenario to the other.

We stayed for three nights and really loved it. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable (the beds were super comfortable too). Everything was ready when we arrived and received texts promptly of checking in and check out. The location is great and close enough to the beach and other activities around the area. We ended up driving to Big Sur one day. There are deer around the house which was super fun to see -and the view from the deck was such a treat! The only thing is that we felt needed attention is the kitchen with a deep cleaning. The fridge did not smell clean and a lot of the pans and cookware were really old and should be replaced. We did not mind though and definitely would stay again.

Our children are grown and scattered so we rented a house for a get together with the kids and our 2 year old granddaughter. The house had beautiful views, was well appointed, and we felt very at home there. We hope to come

We took our trip in August 2022.
I cannot think of any negative thing to say about this house.
When it comes to renting a vacation house, All Decked Out checked all the boxes. We had a group of eight (3 couples and 2 single) and it slept everyone comfortably. When checking in, everything was perfectly clean, everything worked as advertised and it was very accommodating, the kitchen had all the cookware we needed for home cooked meals, a nice sized fridge to fit all our groceries and a great house guide that answered any instructions we had.
The layout of the main floor was perfect for the group to be together. The kitchen felt open and connected to both the dinning area and the living room. A big dinning table that perfectly fit all eight of us so we could all eat together. A living room with plenty of seating with a nice tv equipped with a Roku so we could easily access our shows. Upstairs had all of the bedrooms which was perfect. Of course the many decks to enjoy the beautiful Cambria view.
We stayed three nights and it felt like it wasn't enough to truly take advantage of all the house had to offer. I am confident we will be back to enjoy this house again!

Problem resolved
Our stay was almost perfect except for an unfortunate unavoidable circumstance. The problem was handled fairly and to our satisfaction. No fault, no blame. We would go there again.

Reviewer Comments:
We had 4 adult friends visiting Cambria, and had a wonderful 5 days at this comfortable rental. The bedrooms are spacious with beautiful ocean views. The main floor has a similar view and both levels enjoy expansive balconies. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen very well stocked, and we were walking distance to the water. (While there are ample coffee supplies, there was no coffee when we arrived, so we made a quick grocery run to make sure everyone had their morning coffee! Just fyi, the local grocery store closes at 8 pm, so plan accordingly.). All in all, we had a wonderful, and relaxing time in this comfortable home. We would definitely stay again.

A Really Nice Getaway
We love Cambria. It's not far from where we live but far enough to consider it a vacation. We wanted to get away with my in-laws to show off some of our favorite parts of California. Cambria gets five stars, in my opinion. Here is my review of the rental:
PROS:
-The house is big. We had plenty of space for four adults (two couples) and two children.
-There's a full kitchen which made breakfast and lunch easy (and more affordable).
-There's a beautiful view of the ocean. Every bedroom had a view of the sunset!
-There's a lovely outdoor space.
-The house is pretty clean.
-The house is walking distance to the beach.
CONS:
-Although the house is clean, it's not immaculate. When we arrived, there was a used towel hanging in one of the bedrooms. The edges of the carpet looks like they could use a cleaning. Much of the pots and pans (which are like camping quality) were covered with a bit of grime (possibly due to their proximity to the stove). We just washed them and used them.
-They are stingy with the toilet paper. The toilet paper (which is the cheapest toilet paper I have ever encountered) is limited to two rolls per bathroom. We had six rolls of very cheap toilet paper for six people for our four night stay. This house is not cheap to rent. Offer more toilet paper.
-One of the bathrooms had watered down soap in the dispenser. Really?
-The house doesn't come with a ton of instructions prior to your visit. Is there shampoo? Is there cookware? Are there seasonings? You can write them about each thing and they will respond but it would be nice to have a clearer understanding of what to expect.
-The house has many stairs. This was a CON for my in-laws. There are stairs that lead to a landing than more stairs to get to the bedroom. The same applies to the bottom floor. The main entryway (where the lock is) is off of a deck up a flight of stairs. Many stairs. If you have a person in your travel party that has trouble with stairs, you might want to reconsider.
Overall, my family enjoyed themselves (which is what's most important). We felt safe and comfortable (after we washed that towel and the pots). It's a good place for families to get together and relax.

We had an amazing stay at this home in Cambria. The house was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was stocked with all of the necessities and we enjoyed the ample deck space to take in the ocean views. We would definitely stay here again. Turnkey was also very helpful and made entry and leaving easy.

Nice house in great location
This house worked very well for our family of four. It is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well stocked and with nice appliances. TV streaming services worked well. The location is great and we loved the ocean views from the balcony. In general the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The one exception was that one neighbor had a very loud band practice on Friday night from about 7 to 10 pm. (That was the only night of our week long stay that there was any noise.) All in all, we loved our stay at this house and would happily return.

Our stay at The Beach House
We are 4 couples who all went to CalPoly together and have met in Cambria for a long weekend for many years. We loved the house for its ability to comfortably accommodate 8 people and the proximity to the trails on Fiscalin Ranch Preserve, beach and town makes for a perfectly relaxing weekend. The house is clean and well appointed.

Ladies Weekend
This was a great property for a group of 5 ladies wanting to get away. The deck was great for watching the sunset and having drinks. Neighbors are friendly and the area attracts deer and other animals. One of the houses had a band practice but they stopped by 10pm. Only issue was the downstairs bathroom sink was clogged and the faucet dripped. They do need to buy a decent sized coffee maker, the one we had was small and didn't keep the coffee warm. But otherwise a very comfortable and nice property.

What a gem -- even better than the pictures!
My extended family -- ages 9 to 77 -- were in town to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. All eight of us lived under one roof for an entire week, and everyone was happy, which is no easy task! The home had something for everyone -- ocean views, board games and books, three clean bathrooms, and enough amenities to keep everyone comfortable and most importantly, safe. One thing worth mentioning is that cell service was pretty spotty in the home (for most cell providers) and in the surrounding areas of Cambria. Thankfully, the home's WiFi was strong, so we didn't feel too out of touch with the world. Also, a big shout out to the property management team who remedied the kitchen's malfunctioning coffee maker within an hour of us alerting them via text. It saved our morning, thank you! We can't wait to return!

Breathtaking Beauty
Peaceful, accommodating, cozy and restful! Breathtaking ocean views from so many decks, chairs, kitchen and bedrooms! This property is better than listed. So much room, sitting spots, decks, tables and furnishings. We are already talking about the next time…Thank-you so much!

Mislead about possible early check-in
A home across the street had a band's rock & roll practice until 10pm and loud music late at night. We were warned not have loud music or outside lights on. Only one TV, and if you didn't have a personal streaming service, out of luck. I was told for weeks that within 24 hours of arrival I would be alerted if I could check in early, something I requested repeatedly. Later I was told that this property never allows early check in. If I known that from the beginning I would have rented a different property. I've always had success with VRBO in Hawaii but I am very dissatisfied with this experience. Would not recommend this property.

Clean and comfortable with incredible ocean views!
We enjoyed the 2 days we stayed in the cottage. We explored the the beauty of the tide pools and the short walk to the ocean. It was a great getaway for our family and we would stay again. *Please be aware that check-out time in 10am, which makes for a shorter morning than most rentals.

Cambria Getaway
We had a really relaxing time. The home had everything we needed. It was so nice to be so close to the ocean, listen to the waves and watch the sunset. Also, the deer were an extra treat! The only thing that was a small problem was the heater did not work, but the weather was beautiful while we were there, so it wasn't a huge issue for us. Would definitely recommend this property.

Great Location
Overall the house was great and the deck and views were incredible! We walked to the tide pools and bluffs every day. There are a few amenities that could be improved upon. There is only a Roku available and no cable connection. For example, ESPN was not available. There were 3 of us working and internet was spotty and not dependable. There is an ant problem in the kitchen that had to be dealt with daily.
Despite the issues we enjoyed the house and beds were comfortable.

Coastal Bliss in Cambria
The house was as advertised - perfect for an intimate, yet relaxing family Thanksgiving holiday. The little Cambria South community had perfect access to the beach & the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. We can't wait to come back.
2.0 / 5.0
The home had nice ocean views from the second level (living area including kitchen) and especially the third floor (bedroom area). It is located about 3 blocks from cliffs from which one can descend down stairs to the tidal area. The second floor living area was perfect for our 4 adults. The BBQ was close to the kitchen and was great for making our dinners. There were two outdoor eating areas - second floor patio and second floor balcony - both with ocean views. The home was enjoyed by all. The only reason we gave it a 4 is that the driveway is very steep and is extremely difficult to negotiate without scraping the front and/or back of the car which we did more than 1/2 of the time.Otherwise great. Well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies, television with roku, great internet service, plenty of outdoor seating. Would definitely stay there again!

Lovely home in a nice area with terrific ocean views. Very walkable neighborhood and close to Fiscalini Reserve. Management company very responsive when we needed more propane for the BBQ. Would stay here again!
5.0 / 5.0
A great location and opportunity to see lots of wildlife and easy access to tide pools and walking trails with beach views. It had breathtaking views and a 5 min drive to shopping and restaurants. Also for the most part a very quiet, serene neighborhood. My only critique would be that the posts in the banisters on the inside staircases and Railings on the upper deck are not close enough together for Young children as our one and 3 year olds could easily fall through them so it was less relaxing as we had to be constantly vigilant about this. So I would warn people with young children Who are considering staying here about this Until it is remedied.
Other places we have lived and stayed this is not up to building code so I would hope they would be able to fix this for future renters.
But otherwise we appreciated the experience and had an easy checkout process as well.
