There were 2 families staying at the house, so having 2 master suites was absolutely perfect. The kids enjoyed the big couch and tv area upstairs. It had everything we needed! Also the beautiful neighborhood and tall pines were a plus.

Great stay in Flagstaff for a big family trip! Dan and the home were great. The frosted window bedroom doors were a bit odd for different couples within the family group, but we made it work.

Very nice property enjoyed our stay and the kids love playing in the snow. Dan was very helpful in getting us out of the snow and keeping us up to date on the weather. Would recommend this property. The only thing was a surprise fee for the children. I had never had that happen before it was always just whatever was stated for night as long as it was under the minimum of people. It was very clean comfortable and we enjoyed it

Would stay again however, the living room and upstairs den furniture needs updating. Also, additional TV’s in each bed room to include the downstairs living area would be great.

This place was great . Plenty of room and the location was perfect . Several minutes from plenty of shopping and yet the home felt like it was in the woods up in the mountains. The kitchen was very spacious with a complete gas range and gas oven . Perfect for cooking for the whole family and then having meals outside on the giant deck. Would stay there again without question . Even got a little snow higher up on the mountain during our visit.

We came up for a short trip over Labor Day and this place was perfect. The pictures actually don’t really do it justice. There were four beds, 3 baths and 2 of the bedrooms were en-suite which is so nice if staying with two families or couples. The upstairs had the other two bedrooms and a bath with a little loft with the TV so we parked our teens up there. The beds were super comfy and the place was ridiculously clean. Also very well stocked with linens and kitchenware. We loved the porch and got to meet the owner’s dog! Had a perfect little enclosed area for our dogs to do their business. Super easy check in and out with flexibility. One of our dogs even escaped (when we had been going in and out loading the car) and luckily was found by the owner and he put her back inside for us! Very close to campus, grocery, and downtown. Would a absolutely stay here again!

Had a wonderful time at this property. Nestled in the pines with a wonderful large deck with BBQ. The house was clean and comfortable with a large kitchen. We had everything we needed to prepare meals and enjoy a small gathering of family. The location was close to the NAU campus, which is what we needed, yet far enough away to not feel the "busyness" of being near the campus. Dan, the owner, lives on site with his wonderful dog but is not intrusive. Very pleasant and friendly. Would stay again!

The property is situated among the pines in the University Heights area convenient to the major roadways and downtown Flagstaff. It had everything we needed for our family get together. We enjoyed the large deck as a place to relax, read, talk and smell the trees. We are dog people and especially enjoyed the company of Dan's dog, Mojo. Dan is a bike rider and very helpful in pointing out trails and facilitating storage of my bicycle while we were staying there.

Dan and his dog were amazing hosts! Although the house was a 5 minute drive from everything you needed, you felt like you were in the middle of the woods as you set on the patio. The house was clean and had a fun set up.

Arizona Adventure
This was a great location for the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and Winslow/Petrified Forest National Park. And the 4th of July week was great in Flagstaff with a Farmers Market, Art Fair, and fireworks in nearby Williams. The house was great for our family with 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms we had lots of room to spread out. We especially enjoyed the back deck each morning before heading out for the day. The decor was unique and had a really nice local vibe that we all enjoyed. Our host was super friendly & helpful and responsive to our needs. Great stay and one we would love to do again!

Pleasant Stay In Flagstaff
Overall, this was a decent property for the cost. The bedrooms are a bit small but very comfortable. A Guest Instruction sheet on the kitchen counter mentioned the property did not have AC which disturbed me since I specifically booked based on the listing saying it has AC. Turns out they had it, although you need to be savvy with a Nest Thermostat. Beautiful view from the expansive back porch. Great for the morning coffee. You are slightly tucked away nut it seems everything in Flagstaff takes time to get to. Very close proximity to Pulliam Airport so convenient (10 minutes) commute. As I mentioned, very good cost/value ratio.

Naturalists Delight
A great getaway, home away from home. We rented this light, bright and spacious house a second time for another immersion experience amongst the tall pine trees. Numerous windows allow nature inside without going outside, and still provide privacy. There's a sprawling back deck for total relaxation. Dan is the perfect super host, par excellence.

Visiting Grand Canyon with family
We stayed at the property for two nights while visiting the grand canyon and nearby areas. Our stay was very comfortable, the house was clean and Dan was a great host. He gave us local tips on the best circuit to take the canyon tour and also on visiting the chocolate falls which was a bonus! Dan infact called us when we left behind a hat while leaving as well. Thanks for the nice stay Dan!

Charming and
Charming, comfortable house with plenty of room for our group. The teens enjoyed the upstairs lounge. Beds and baths comfortable, kitchen well equipped. We will have to come back and try the spacious deck in warmer weather! Great location, easy access to NAU for our campus visit and easy travel to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. We all enjoyed out stay very much!

This home was amazing.
Dan was a wonderful host. He made sure all was clean and comfortable and made sure the driveway was shoveled during snow fall.
