About this house rental
A cozy retreat right in the city with a big deck and view of the mountains. Enjoy this incredibly clean, well-equipped home conveniently located 6 minutes drive from downtown Flagstaff. Its unique hillside location is quiet and beautiful, set amongst the pines with an incredible Mountain View. Has a furnished private deck to enjoy the city and Mountain Views. The quaint neighborhood it is located in is just 1.6 miles from downtown and near to lots of stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. Everything is newly decorated and updated - it’s gorgeous and super cozy! We thought of everything (we think!) to make your stay easy including lots of coffee and condiments. As our reviews reflect, the home is ready for cooking, sleeping, and relaxing in. Our guidebook includes ways to enjoy the town from "professional locals" who have spent tons of time taking out-of-town relatives to all the best sights. Flagstaff is perfectly situated to stay in during trips to Grand Canyon, Sedona, Petrified Forest, Sunset crater, and more.
Enjoy the quiet deck with amazing city and nature views from the large furnished deck and the living/dining area. Grill and relax on the covered landscaped patio or play ping pong! Parking for up to 3 vehicles in the private driveway! The newly renovated kitchen and living room has large windows opening up to a gorgeous view where you can relax and take in the mountain air and watch city lights or pines and peaks. We have equipped the home with lots of games and every amenity we could think of for both kids and adults including a ping pong table. The home is 100% pet-free. It has never had a pet living in it, and since it is kept extremely clean it's great for people with pet or dander allergies. It's in a neighborhood only a few minutes from downtown. A great place to stay if you're wanting fast access to Downtown Flagstaff, NAU, Snowbowl ski area or if you want to do day trips to Grand Canyon, Sedona, the Petrified Forest, and more!
GREAT LOCATION:
The house is only a 3-5 minute drive from downtown Flagstaff and 7 minutes from NAU's campus. It is in walking distance of restaurants, stores and forest service trails that have some of the countries best hiking and biking (one is accessible from the end of the street). We are a 15 minute drive from Snowbowl ski area and 1.25 hours from Grand Canyon and 20 minutes from Oak Creek Canyon & Sedona. The nearby shopping district has lots of great coffee shops and locally owned restaurants as well as national chains.
WELL EQUIPPED KITCHEN & GRILL
We have equipped it with everything you'll need for cooking including cutlery, pots and pans, crock pots, serving dishes, and spices and condiments. Ready too cook just like you were home! We also have lots of coffee and all the goodies to go in it. We supply ground coffee, but there’s a keurig too if you’d like to bring your own pods. The dining area seats 6, but there are two extra chairs in the closet for additional guests.
BATHROOMS
Our bathrooms have plenty of towels and washcloths as well as conditioner, shampoo, lotion and soap.

AIR CONDITIONING

Enjoyed our stay, clean and comfortable

This was a perfect home to celebrate our eldest son's graduation from college. The master bedroom on the first floor was very comfortable and we appreciated the host provided shampoo/conditioner/bodywash, and the quality linens for both bedding and towels. The kitchen was well equipped with complimentary morning coffee/tea! The back deck is gorgeous. The location is perfect for exploring both Flagstaff and surrounding areas. There is a great trail for hiking/walking off the loop as well. I wish we had booked more days as we only just began to explore Flagstaff itself!

We enjoyed staying at Neal’s family home. Sarah was quick to respond and very respectful of our family privacy and needs. They allowed us to check out an hour later which made us easier for kids to get ready and pack bags. It was a perfect location very near restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

House was adorable! Well stocked! Even had the “simple things” like a water filter pitcher and ice cubes already made for use in the freezer! We had a full house and the place worked perfect for our family! Super clean! Beds were comfy. We have no complaints!
We would definitely stay again!

We had an absolutely delightful stay in this beautiful home. I loved the book that the family left for us- it was so nice reading their story and learning about their favorite things in Flagstaff. We stayed here for 4 nights as a larger road trip from Massachusetts to the Southwest. We took day trips from Flagstaff to Walnut Canyon, Sedona, the Grand Canyon etc. It was wonderful to be able to go out into the desert in the morning and then escape the heat in Flagstaff in the afternoon. The house was exactly as we hoped it would be. I booked the house for the mountain view and I'm so glad that I did. The girls loved all the animal art on the walls and playing the games that were in the closet. My husband loved running through the park just down the street in the mornings which also has a great view of the mountains. Flagstaff is a delightful town and this house was perfect for our family.

It really is a nice home. Spacious enough for our family of 4. Well supplied. Great view and location.
Caution about visiting in summer: only the bedrooms have portable AC units. I understand Flagstaff doesn't need AC most of the year but this is our one vacation and the living area was not hospitable to our family gathering together most of the day. July is hot everywhere!

My family and I stayed here for a wedding, and simply had the best time. The house is VERY clean, well kept, warm, and inviting. We loved the set up of the bedrooms, the patio and view were beautiful to wake up to, and communication with the property manager was seamless. We will be booking this house again in the future!

The house is well taken care of and comfortable. It felt like a nice home away from home. Plenty of space for our family. Only issue for us was that we drove a large vehicle, so getting up and down the drive way was doable, but a bit tight. Overall though we enjoyed the property and the Flagstaff area!

We were traveling for a gymnastics meet for our girls and wanted a big house to share with 3 families. There were 8 kids and 6 adults and we have plenty of room. The game room and theater room were a big hit. The pool was nice. The only problem we had was that the pool stopped heating up. I messaged the property manager Lilia and she responded immediately and sent a pool guy out. When the pool was still not maintaining the heat, Lilia allowed us to use the pool next door. The kids were so happy to have a warm pool in the winter. The house had plenty of space and a ton of rooms. The theme rooms were so cute too. Kids loved them. on our last day we enjoyed the pool and lazy river at the front of the property which was a nice bonus. The booking process was easy and they answered my questions quickly. I would definitely recommend.

We loved our quick visit to the snow from phx. We were super close to free sledding at Foxglenn park and the house was warm and very cute when we arrived.
It was a bit of a challenge to get to with all the ice and snow on the steep hills. We got stuck in the neighborhood but a really kind neighbor helped us out.
The driveway was a bit scary bc of the snow but it was cleared when we arrived. There were a few ice patches which made it a challenge for us to get the car in and out but other than that, it was a great visit! We ended up parking at the top of the drive to avoid getting stuck at the bottom.

This home is beautiful and well maintained. It has all of the items you could need in the laundry room, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Big bonus for me was the fan I found in the closet since I’m a very hot sleeper! The location is perfect with nice views. The owner is extremely responsive. We had a great time!

My family and I had an amazing experience! The house is so cute and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Stores and activities are a quick drive away while still giving off a woodsy feeling. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone!

Everything we needed was here and available. The location was convenient for our purposes. We were on motorcycles and the driveway was a bit steep and tight to maneuver.

This mountain view retreat did not disappoint! In fact, it exceeded our expectations! The hosts, Sarah & Vanessa, were very helpful & quick to respond to our needs! The guidebook provided was full of interesting info to make our stay more comfortable & adventurous! We appreciated the personal touches, too! The home was very clean, comfortable & spacious! We were gifted with a double rainbow across the mountain tops after a rain! The next day the first snow-capped mountain tops of the season appeared! Four friends sharing a bucket list adventure felt right at home! It was a dream come true!

Property was awesome, hosts were great and extremely help.
Was not impressed with VRBO help in dates mixup, was kept on phone over 3 hours between host and myself.
The 1st guy I talked to, lots of people laughing and talking in background.

Where to begin. Our week-long stay in your home was everything we'd hoped for and more. Very clean and quite comfortable. The views off the deck were wonderful and the water from the tap tasted great. The house was well furnished starting with the kitchen. All in all, there was plenty of attention to detail, for sure. This home was centrally located for everything we came here to see and enjoy in this area. We felt safe and at home. Thank you Sarah and Vanessa for all you do and for helping make our family vacation to this area memorable. It is much appreciated. Highly Recommended. The Templeton family.

Excellent experience.
Property was exactly as described. Comfortable furnishings, well maintained, nice location and beautiful view. Thank you to the owners for providing such wonderful accommodations!

Comfortable
This property was nice and clean- perfect arrangement of beds and baths for our group. The host have tried to really anticipate all your needs when staying away from home. Decorated nicely and maintained.
Not 5 stars due to location, neighborhood though centrally located was run down, and lack of air conditioning in living room/ kitchen area. A wall mounted unit would be a great addition to this property. Overall this is a pleasant home.

Felt at home in Flagstaff
The property is clean, comfortable and well appointed. The outdoor photo is deceiving as you only get the view of those mountains from where the picture is taken. Still, the distant view from the back deck does include mountains. Parking is challenging for people who aren't comfortable with three-point turns but patience makes it possible.

Great stay in Flagstaff. Close to everything.
Clean and comfortable 3 bedrooms. Cooler nights in June made our stay very nice. The deck in the back is great for coffee in the mornings. Very good communication from the owners.

Perfect for our family
We enjoyed our stay in Flagstaff. This property was perfect for our family. Lots of sleeping space, great view of mountains from the kitchen/dining area. Everything we needed was there.

Cute home with difficult driveway
The house was nice, but we had issues with navigating the driveway. The neighbor next door parked his car in a way that made it difficult to get our vehicles on the narrow driveway.

Great place!
My family and I rented this house for my son's NAU graduation. The house is very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed sitting on the deck during the day. There was enough room for our family to have a get together after the graduation.
Parking can be an issue if you have multiple cars so be aware of this.

Beautiful house and great hosts
We had a wonderful time in this house! Very well designed, clean and comfortable beds. The host’s guide book is filled with great information and fabulous recommendations . They made sure that we have everything we needed. The house is perfectly located to see the Grand Canyon and Sedona .

Cozy spot for a blizzard
We had some good family time here. Great little trail nearby (Arrowhead Trail) that we followed during the snowstorm. Other than that, we spent the whole time indoors. Great view from the back balcony. The owner came to snowplow the driveway on the morning of our departure. Thank you for that!

Everything was so neat and clean. We loved our stay! Thanks so much

Mostly nice but could use some TLC
The parking cannot be helped, given the very very steep and narrow driveway - it is challenging for any driver. The saggy bed in the far upper bedroom needs to be replaced. Old linens and the missing light dome in that bedroom should be replaced. There weren't enough silverware or glasses for 6. The knives wouldn't cut through anything - perhaps the addition of a sharpening stone would help. Some of the cooking pots were old and scratched. Neighborhood was OK but not great - and it was not walking distance from town as you had to cross several very busy intersections.

Great!!! except for the very steep garage

So comfortable
This condo felt just like home! We loved our stay here (in between visiting National Parks, so we were very tired!) The master bed mattress was SO COMFORTABLE! I didn't want to leave it. We had to rearrange our trip and change a day and the hosts were accommodating. When VRBO tried to not refund our money, the owners didn't give up and we eventually got it back, plus some for the misunderstanding. So that is a warning - make sure VRBO doesn't change the invoice and nightly rate on you after you confirm a change with the owner! It wasn't the owner's fault so I am glad we got our money back!

The view was very pretty! We loved the kitchen and the AC was nice.
We would come back for sure!
