The best place to stay in Santa Fe hands down. Clean, fully stocked with necessary items, short walk to Canyon Rd. and the Plaza. Beautiful courtyards and plenty of room for family. Coffee shop one block away. Best restaurants in Santa Fe are in walking distance such as Geronimo, El Faron, Pink Adobe, Pasqual’s and the Shed. Fran is very responsive when you need to communicate.

Great place

Great location if you want to be within walking distance of the Plaza and Canyon Road, but in a quiet historic neighborhood. The nicest part of this house is that it has several lovely courtyards that you can relax in. Very good kitchen. The only note I offer is that like a lot of old houses, there are several small steps that separate rooms from rooms, and one person in our party who had a cane had to take extra care with that. But otherwise, a really wonderful place.

We absolutely loved our stay in this awesome house. The house had everything we possibly needed during our stay and the location was incredible! Communication with the owner was easy and we always got a quick response. Only taking one star off because the house could have been a bit cleaner, but we loved it so much it didn’t really affect our stay.

Spent 5 nights with our three school age kids over their spring break. The home was exceptionally clean and well appointed. It’s within easy walking distance to everything downtown yet on a quiet street with no traffic or road noise. The only time we needed a car was when we were leaving Santa Fe. It had plenty of room to spread out, great outdoor spaces, and provided a lovely peaceful base to explore Santa Fe and surrounding areas.

This house is such a gem, we had plenty of room (myself, my mother, my 18 year old daughter) to spread out, and both the dining room and kitchen were wonderful places to come together. Lots of courtyards to read in, or enjoy the birds and sun, and perfectly located! Really cannot wait to go back.

Four adults, including 80 yr old mother, stayed for four nights. We valued the location (so peaceful) more than anything else, as we were able to walk almost everywhere (grocery store and Meow Wolf the exceptions), including walking Canyon Road every day. House was clean, ambiance was perfect for Santa Fe, and all of our lodging needs were met.
We had two minor issues. The varying elevations between rooms caused several stubbed toes and almost falls, especially from master bedroom to master bathroom. We eventually started laughing at each other with each stumble. The other issue was the master bath/shower, which required stepping over the side of the tub without any support. My wife, 5’3”, was more comfortable using one of the other showers. Would not recommend this house if one has mobility issues.
Overall, we had a great stay. Host was communicative and clear, so my 4 rating is likely more indicative of my scale rather than anything sub-standard. I reserve my 5-star ratings for truly exceptional stays and values. Just my view.

Can’t say enough good things about this property. The location next to Canyon Road couldn’t be better. The house was immaculate, well equipped, and had two beautiful outdoor areas. Loved having a parking space. The owner responds very quickly to any communication.

Loved our stay here. It looked great online when we booked it and it's even better in person. It was comfortable, clean and quiet. Perfect for our family of four; everyone had plenty of space. The kitchen was well-appointed. We really enjoyed relaxing outside in the garden. It was an easy walk to galleries and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

Everyone in my group was 65+ including my 93 year old dad. We had a lovely time, easy to walk to Canyon Road a few minutes to walk to the plaza but we did drive a few times and parked. We enjoyed sitting outside with our adult beverages listening to the birds and water fountain. The house was well equipped with the all the essentials, including enough toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, towels. Nice to have individual mini splits but we didn’t need them except my father and only at night before he went to bed then we turned off. There was enough room for all of us. The tv was streaming only so bring your apps or passwords so if you like to watch local news probably not going to happen. But it was all good. For us with hip, knee issues except for my 93 year old dad (he’s in great shape) there are a few up and down steps but nothing unmanageable. This was a wonderful place to stay, quiet and easy access to all the fun places would stay here again. Thank you

High school girlfriends gathered to celebrate 60 years of friendship. The property was perfect; plenty of room, a beautiful enclosed garden for al fresco dining. Updated property with adobe history; a wonderfully stocked kitchen. Could not have been better. And Canyon Road is 1 block away!!

We arrived from Waco and were immediately pleased with the property and the supplies available. At most VRBOs we have to get to the store for staples but this property was very well stocked. The bed layout was perfect for us and location just close enough to the Plaza that we could walk even with small children. And the walk itself was pleasant since it passed numerous fine galleries. Overall wonderful experience.

Three of us were on a girls’ trip to Santa Fe, and we had a wonderful stay on Delgado Street. The house was well equipped and had lots of space, both indoors and outdoors. The neighborhood was fantastic (we all wanted to move there) and an easy walk to some things, an easy drive to others. We would highly recommend this rental. Thank you Fran!

Excellent stay in Santa Fe….
Perfect location for Canyon road experience. A bit further to Santa Fe square but walkable.
The house is well equipped with comfortable furnishings and outdoor areas. There are steps in the house between some of the rooms…
The owners were friendly and helpful… you can tell they love their home and enjoy sharing it…. this is NOT a stripped down rental… everything you could need in a kitchen is there… the linens were great… there was a grill… wi-fi…even fresh flowers on the kitchen table… truly a great experience

The location to the plaza and Canyon Rd was great. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed. The gardens were beautiful. My only recommendation would be to have some cushions for the wood furniture in the garden. So more comfortable seating would have been nice for sitting outside. Wee we did find one table in the backyard that had metal chairs with cushions. Other than that it was a great stay.

We loved our stay at this property. It is perfectly located, well appointed and the courtyards are beautifully planted and full of mature trees. We spent most of our time outdoors in the private garden. I would highly recommend this property for a Santa Fe stay.

What an incredible home in the most perfect location for our long weekend stay. Everything was super clean and cute furniture. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were immaculate. Great kitchen and dining space, and our favorite part was the front garden area along with the other outdoor spaces!

Of the many Santa Fe houses we have stayed in, this is one of the loveliest. A beautiful house in the best neighborhood, walking distance to Canyon Road and the Plaza. Hosts are helpful and responsive.

To start, the location of the property is just excellent. The art galleries, shops and restaurants of Canyon Road are within easy walking distance, as is Garcia Books and its next door neighbor, Downtown Subscription, a delightful coffeehouse with two outdoor patios that we walked to easily every morning we were there.
Downtown Santa Fe is a bit of a longer walk but easily accessible from Casa Delgado as well, a nice stroll at any time of day. We barely used our car while we were there for the week.
The house itself is warm, decorated in the local style with whimsical art and knickknacks throughout. Bright, cheery. There is a a guest casita attached, and three courtyards that offer a variety of outdoor spaces. At the owner's invitation, we treated ourselves to fresh apricots off a tree in the back as well as to a couple of cherry tomatoes growing behind the kitchen!
The front courtyard is really pretty, with a tree-shaded round table as well as a patio table for six that has an umbrella for shade, if desired. Half the time we spent at the house we spent outdoors.
Upgraded bathrooms and kitchen appliances, including a second beverage fridge, as well as a nice washer and dryer, made daily living functional and easy.
Arrival and departure procedures were easy and communications with the owner was easy and fast.
We'd stay here again and will recommend to our friends who visit Santa Fe!

Santa Fe retreat for the family
Every time I rate a home I rate it based on its Regional location. To get five stars in one city may not take as much as in another. That said, for our family of 6 (two seniors, two parents, two children), this easily rated 5 Stars across the board for the Museum District of Santa Fe. For us, the two best features of the property were the house layout that allowed for everyone to have a private area and the quality of the renovations that made the house very quiet.
Walking and biking distance to the Plaza, multiple museums, and the Canyon Road Art Walk, the location was perfect. Originally our trip was to be a ski trip at Ski Santa Fe and had that worked out this would have been the perfect driving distance from the slopes.
A note about responsiveness from the owners. We drove into Santa Fe the weekend before all public facilities and many retailers started shutting down due to the COVID-19 virus. While our stay was not significantly impacted beyond Ski Santa Fe closing for the season the day after we arrived, at no time did we feel the owners were not responsive and sensitive to any needs we might have. Thankfully we didn't have any and they were very open about us communicating any extra cleaning or reservation related needs because of the unfolding COVID situation.

Location, location, location
This property was perfect for us...3 women with varying needs and one car...the location gave us the flexibility to not all travel in a pack. Two of us could walk to the plaza, and the other could easily join us for lunch. Everything was under a 15 minute walk! The house was well furnished, with lots of condiments, spices, and oil. Great pots and pans, glassware, dinnerware, etc. We lacked for nothing. Appliances top notch. The lay out worked for us. Only caution for those who may not like steps, is that there were several ups and downs and ledges due to combining to properties. But the steps were only one high so once we got used to it, we were pleased. Lots of light! Patio garden was lovely! Fran and Tom were great hosts. Can’t go wrong with this home, unless the need for a completely level home is essential.

Reunion fun
Perfect for the four of us women enjoying a five day stay in Santa Fe. The location was great as was the house. Plenty of space, kitchen was perfect and the courtyard is lovely. There was a small outbreak of tiny moths and one guest found many moths enjoying a blanket in her room.

Great Location
Cozy home 1/2 block from Canyon Rd galleries and book store/coffee shop. Lovely, private courtyard filled with flowers. Owner very responsive and even left a bottle of wine! Nice, friendly touch.
Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds. Be aware that every room/bathroom is a step up or down to access.

Wonderful Stay in Santa Fe
We had a wonderful time at this historic adobe property. We walked most places (Canyon Rd is right there and the square is a fairly short, very nice walk). The house is so interesting - bedrooms really nice. The garden is absolutely stunning - we spent most of time at the house outside in the garden, drinking coffee and chatting (it was a girls weekend). Only one room was air-conditioned so it did get a little warm in the house during the day, but it was a very hot, unusually muggy weekend. My only wish was screen doors on the doors so we could let some breeze in (we didn't want to let in any critters by leaving doors open). :-) But there were plenty of fans for each room, so the nights were pleasant. The house is nicely decorated and the kitchen is well equipped. The owner was very responsive when needed (just a couple questions here and there). If we return to Santa Fe - we will defjnitely try to stay here again! Thank you, Fran!
