About this house rental
Bishops Lodge Villa Corazones is only 15 minutes from Santa Fe Plaza, the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, and Loretto Chapel. But when you stay here, you might be tempted to do little more than admire the mountains while lazing on the patio or relax indoors among the luxurious Spanish Colonial furnishings. And we don’t blame you! The three-bedroom, three-bathroom retreat is easily as magical as its surroundings.
You’ll be charmed the moment you step into Bishops Lodge Villa Corazones’s spacious living room. The wood-planked ceiling with viga beams, the tiled floor, and the sumptuous leather seating invite you to kick back, relax, and make yourself at home. A wall of windows lets you gaze out at the mountains even while you sprawl out on the sofa. Once you manage to tear your gaze away from the scenery, you can watch a movie on the flat-screen TV with cable or surf the web via the complimentary WiFi. On brisk winter evenings the fireplace will bathe the room in a welcoming golden warmth.
From the living room, you can access the lovely patio space. Bring your morning coffee out to the table and listen to hummingbirds greet the day or enjoy al fresco dinners amid the fresh mountain breezes. You can cook outdoors as well, on the gas grill. There’s even a kiva stove to keep you toasty as you enjoy a late-night glass of wine beneath the canopy of stars.
Of course, you can dine indoors as well. Bishops Lodge Villa Corazones’s dining room features a handsome wood table that seats six, with leather-upholstered chairs so comfortable you’ll want to linger long after dessert is over. Adjacent to the table is a granite-top breakfast bar with three stools. Separating the dining room from the kitchen, it’s a handy place to sit and help with the cooking. The kitchen is equipped with gleaming stainless-steel appliances, a bevy of cookware and tableware, and plenty of counter space and elbow room. Even if you eat your main meals out at the numerous nearby restaurants, you’l

We were looking for a property which echoed the architecture of classic Santa Fe. We found it in this property and enjoyed our stay.

This home was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Each bedroom had an en suite bathroom, with complimentary soap and shampoo. The kitchen was well stocked with high-end cookware like Le Crueset and All clad, and the glassware was like new. The sunsets were amazing, and it was a short walk to the club pool that had fantastic views. We will seek this home out for future visits!

Overall we did enjoy our stay. But a series of disappointments faced up everyday. Master BR Bathrub offered a trickle of hot and cold water - made it unusable. That big tub was a selling point for us as a surprise to one of our girls. Only Eight logs were left for 3 interior fireplaces and an outside chimney fp. No instructions that the logs would be limited or that we should stock up and where to get wood. We couldn't get the coffee maker working. We located the manual and neither we or the maintenance man you sent out to look at the tub could make it work. We had an investation of ants and could not locate any ant spray. There wasn't any food left on the counter - all in the refrigerator. It didn't look like the ant boxes you left were working. We had a problem with the front gate and got no help from the emergency number given. We did have a suggest for your instructions. When you say enter the gate code #1234. That could be read Code Number 1234 or Code #1234. It should read press the following buttons #1234 or 1234 to eliminate any confusions. We have only delt owners of VRBO. We all agreed that the Management Company was a layer between owner and renter that left out a personal touch we liked. There wasn't a book to tell us all about the house, closest place to pick up different things. The directions said to turn at the pool sign. It was after Pool Closing for the season, and there was no sign. We drove around and around looking for that sign. There was a coffee house within the development but we didn't know anything about it when we couldn't get the coffee maker to work.

We stayed here during a family wedding at Bishop’s Lodge Resort. Extra marks for the bedrooms having their own baths. We needed a maintenance call to get the heat started and the response was very prompt. Actual unit was just as pictured.

The home was beautiful and accommodated our needs to a T. It was spacious and well equipped. The southwestern decor is magazine worthy. A trip into Santa Fe is quick to reach. Recommend early arrival. It’s a bit tricky to locate especially in the dark. We would definitely like to stay again at this villa.

We didn't realize how unbelievable the sunsets would be from the patio, how spacious the house was, or how close the club pool was from the house (~50 steps). Definitely want to come back!

Great southwestern home, quiet, great views, close to town.
We have come to Santa Fe a few times over the last 20 years and this stay was the most enjoyable staying at the Kokopelli vacation home. Nice to be a little off the beaten path at a beautiful resort home. We needed to stop in town to pickup and drop off keys was the only inconvenience. Great time.

Something for everyone
The house was immaculate! Grandma enjoyed reading in her room bathing in the warm morning sun, the two boy cousins loved the club house pool which they visited everyday, and my sister and I finally got to catch up sitting in the terrace with immaculate views before us. The house is well loved and it shows. We are grateful of the pleasant experience and fond memories.

Perfection!
The pictures are true to the Villa. Went for a girls weekend and this place had everything we needed! The decor was top notch, enjoyed mornings out on the patio for a gorgeous view. We had a feeling of privacy. Wood burning fireplaces throughout was great for chilly evenings. Only 10 min to town. Perfect spot to get out of crowded downtown. We would definitely go back!

Perfect for Multi Generation Vacation
Three generations in our party and we had everything we needed. Loved having three separate bed/bath suites. The living room is bigger than it appears in the pics online. The patio was perfect for relaxing, grilling, roasting marshmallows, and watching stunning sunsets. First time staying outside Santa Fe instead of near the Plaza, so missed being able to walk to restaurants, but bc of COVID, wanted more space and distance. Beautiful location and house. Thank you!!

Typically we stay in town while visiting Santa Fe.... but this time we opted for Bishops Lodge/Tesuque area. This house did not disappoint. The layout and decor was perfection. Little patios off of every room perfect for a morning cup of coffee and the living room/ patio offered a spectacular view of the sunset every evening. The house was extremely well stocked and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to make your culinary dreams come true.

Perfect stay in Santa Fe
This property is beautiful. It has everything you need for a nice quiet stay just outside of Santa Fe. The property was very clean and very nicely appointed. The pool being closed was a bit of a bummer, but what can you do about a good old pandemic! I highly recommend this property!

Villa Was Great, No Pool, Property Mgt Slow to Respond
This villa was absolutely perfect for our family of five to get away for some socially-distanced hiking and mountain-biking! It was probably the most nicely furnished of the many homes we have rented. The kitchen was especially well-stocked with high-quality appliances, tools and supplies, which made cooking very easy. The Internet supported two adults telecommuting and three students distance-learning. Wish we could give it five stars.
The first night, our bedroom was close to 80 degrees, which made sleeping difficult. The air conditioning (although very loud) wasn't cooling, and bugs sneaked in the cracks if we left the sliding doors open to let in cooler air. I left two messages for property management the next day. After a second night roasting, my husband was able to reach the property manager. The repairman came and said the filter hadn't been cleaned in probably two years and the compressor was out. At least we had some relief! The property manager never called to check on us or apologize (how about a bottle of wine or a gift card with a sincere note wishing us a nice rest of our stay?!?).
One of the reasons we chose this listing was because of access to a pool. We went to check it out on the first day. It hadn't been cleaned or serviced in a while. On the second day, there was a "Pool Closed" sign for the rest of our 15-day trip. The sign didn't say what the issue was or how long the pool would be out of commission. Needless to say, we were disappointed.
If we were just rating the villa itself, we would give it five stars; however, we couldn't overlook no pool/no explanation, property management's slow response to a broken a/c, and no follow-up with guests. Those issues negatively impacted our experience.
