About this house rental

Wonderful home for your family vacation and making lifetime memories. This spacious beautifully decorated home has pillow top mattresses, tv's in all of the rooms, private baths for each bedroom as well as 3 porches with rockers for morning coffee or evening sunsets. In addition, the property has a ground level deck with a gas grill, a hot tub and the fenced in yard has a sandbox as well as plenty of room for yard games. There is a downstairs room with a workspace with a desk and chair. Also in this room is an exercise bike and love seat. The ramp leading down to the canal has a dock to tie up your boat and a ladder to assist you after playing in the water. The air conditioners and large washer and dryer are new. This house is a quick direct walk to the beach, one mile from the pier and one and half mile from the point. Concrete Canal, direct beach access - 5BR, 5.5BA. 2 Master bedrooms, K-master, K-master, 2Q, Q & S, * 2Q, DW, W/D, C/H/A, CCTV, fenced in back yard with HOT TUB, two covered decks facing canal, boat dock, Direct Beach Access, O/S WIRELESS INTERNET, NON-SMOKING. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and 2 refrigerators. Fish cleaning station.

Detailed House Layout

The layout of the house is the main floor is the kitchen, den, ½ bath, laundry, 1 bedroom with Q and private bath, closet and dresser, and the second bedroom with Queen and twin beds in loft and private bath, closet and dresser. There is a full porch on that level with a dining table, sofa 2 gliders and chaise lounge.
The second floor has 1 room with 2 Q’s with private bath and double vanities and walk in closet, a dresser, which is on the front of the house and there is a small porch with 2 chairs and you can see the ocean from there.
The next room is a master with a King sized bed – the private bath has 2 sinks with a large walk in shower. There are 2 extra chairs in the room and a large closet, 2 dressers This room is on canal side and there is access to a full porch overlooking the canal –
The other Master suite has a king sized bed and it has a sofa, an oversized wicker chair, a walk-in closet with drawers and plenty of hanging space, and a dresser. The luxury master bath has a double vanity, large soaker tub and large walk in shower. It is attached to the same large porch as the other master bedroom which has plenty of comfortable seating.
All rooms have nice blinds for privacy and light control.
The mattresses are all in wonderful shape and most are pillow-top.

The house was very accommodating for our large family. This was our first vacation at Ocean Isle and can't wait to come back. The house was great!! Having two refrigerators was a plus as well as a large panty. Everyone enjoyed the dock and short walk to the beach. Everyone commented that they had comfortable beds. Plenty of room for hanging out sitting on the deck. We had a great vacation!!

My family of 10 has been searching for the perfect place to vacation in the OIB/NMB area for years! We've hopped from rental to rental always finding something lacking. BUT, this year we have FINALLY found the perfect place! 3 Leland Street is super spacious, spotless, the kitchen is over equipped, and has a perfect location. Thomas is extremely responsive to any concern or question we had both before our trip and during it. We can't wait to return next year!

This home is ideal for my family. Plenty of space for jigsaw puzzles, board games, and relaxing on the deck overlooking the canal. The kitchen is spacious with ample cookware. The beds were comfortable with private bathrooms. This home is extremely warm and inviting allowing for plenty of family fun and memories! The host family is extremely welcoming. Yes, we'll be back!

This house is beautiful and comfortable and the rooms were bigger than I expected based on the photos. A very short walk to the beach and we loved having the water ways right outside our door. The teens enjoyed swimming there on the day after a tropical storm, when the ocean was too dangerous. We loved the porches and gathering spaces. Grocery store just a few minutes drive. Thomas is an excellent host and checked on us by phone to make sure everything was going well. There was a key issue at check in and it was resolved immediately and with much apology. LOVE this beach house and best host you could ask for!

We had a fabulous week at 3 LeLand St. Thomas was very easy to communicate with and he was available anytime we had a question. The house has plenty of space for 12 of us. The kitchen was well equipped. The porches were lovely and the dock was perfect for fishing! We hope to be back one day!

We’ve been renting homes for over 8 years in the area. This house is well laid out and the facilities were above and beyond. The owners could not be any nicer and easily accessible if necessary. We will be staying again next year.

3 Leland Street is a beautiful house, great location, clean & well taken care of. This house has 2 refrigerators in the kitchen which came in very handy. Owner was great to work with. Would definitely recommend and would rent again.

Our vacation

Our vacation was very nice. The house was spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was great for cooking! It is close to a beach access and so it is convenient to the ocean. The reason I gave the house a 4 and not a 5 is because a few of the guests who took a dip in the hot tub ran a fever and was sick for about 24 hours. Also we found a few large water bugs.

One of our best stays in Ocean Isle. The house was perfect for our group (even a little too big, but everyone had their own room!) Kitchen was great for a crowd to cook in, family room accomodate a LOT of games and relaxing....deck space was great! We all could find our own quiet little nook or join the group for noisy camaraderie! Access to the beach was I COUNTED 300 steps to sand! We did not need a golf cart! Thanks for availing you home to us! We will be back!

We stayed at this property two years ago and went back this year. The home is as beautiful as it was two years ago. The three fans on the back deck were a welcome addition. Everything was in proper working order and we truly enjoyed ourselves. The owners are some of the nicest people I have ever met. In fact, I met the owner last year on a trip back from Atlanta. What a quality individual. We will always stay at this home when we visit Ocean Isle.

I think I can speak for all the members of our family when I say this home is as advertised. It is absolutely beautiful. We had 15 adults and one baby in the house with no problems with sleeping or adequate bathrooms. The decor was beautiful and everything was is perfect working condition. The proximity to the beach is only two short blocks and is a street with beach access. When the owners tell you it is their home but they want it to be your home too, they absolutely mean it. They were two of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. There was never any problem reaching them and they went out of their way to make sure our stay was as promised. I know we will reserve our spot again. Trust me when I say you will love this home and the people you deal with. Thank you again owners!

Our stay at 3 Leland Street was wonderful! Everything listed on the website is exactly what you get - the pictures are how the rooms look - very well layed out and clean with a warm, homey feel. The mattresses were so nice I felt like I was at home. The two master suites with king-sized beds are very large with a very nice, private rocking chair porch attached; the den area and kitchen are large as well, perfect for several cooks to be in there at the same time. Our family particularly enjoyed sitting on the porch at any point and time during the day. It is very wide/deep and you will enjoy the rocking chairs on this level too. The boat dock was perfect for my young adult children to swim and we rented two, two-person kayaks and paddled down the canal and into the intercoastal waterway at least twice a day. The hot tub was one of the highlights of the week...best enjoyed in the evening to help you relax before bedtime. Walking distance to the beach is a straight shot, less than 5 minutes. We enjoyed miniature golf on the island, walking on the beach at night waiting for the baby turtles to hatch, and relaxing with our family and friends at this beautiful home! The owners were very helpful and available whenever I had a question before our trip and the feeling in this home was that this family loved each other, enjoyed their time together, and wanted their guests to experience the same! We would definitely like to stay here again next year!

Just enjoyed a wonderful vacation in Ocean Isle NC. The house is beautiful, and in a great location with the canal out back and a public access right across the way. The kitchen is so well equipped that it is hard to think of anything you would need. The decks were perfect for hanging out and enjoying meals and sunsets. A hot tub and outdoor shower were great after coming from the beach.
