About this house rental
Owner offers flexible cancellation terms. These are outlined in the owners agreement. Our home is within walking distance to the ocean. This warm & comfortable charmer is beautifully updated to add all the modern amenities to this classic home. An open beamed great room & surprising light-filled dining room look out to private gardens. Sophisticated kitchen, large master bedroom & delightful master bath make this home one of a kind! The house has a second Master Bedroom with an Ensuite. This second Ensuite is on the opposite side of the house for privacy and could also work as a "mother-in-law" suite.

The location is wonderful- about a 15 minute walk to the beach (one of the previous reviews said 5 minutes so I wanted to make sure everyone knew that was obviously a different property). The home was generally very pleasant with each bedroom set up nicely. The dining room with all the natural light can't be beat.

We needed a place for a family(our 3 adult kids) to land for wedding event in Seaside- when they left 2 couples came- home was perfect to relax in, after going out- shopping or back from dinner! Beautiful lot, fireplace and couch where conversations could happen! Wonderfully stocked kitchen with convenient items to use in a pinch!

Very comfortable updated home with all of the amenities. Wonderful, quiet neighborhood added to the enjoyment of the stay. There were four of us, but the home would accommodate six or even eight guests.

Lots to do in the area…close to Carmel, Monterey, and wineries and walking distance from the beach. House had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms and has a lovely great room set up for gathering. Owners were prompt in all communications and everything was just as expected. We would not hesitate to recommend this rental to friends or family!

The home is even nicer than the pictures. Fully equipped kitchen, warm and welcoming great room, and located in the middle of the peninsula - easy walk to beach, quick drive to Carmel, Pacific Grove or the Aquarium in Monterey! Owners very responsive too! Highly recommend this home!

Wonderful Home in Pebble Beach
The home was wonderful and perfectly setup for our family. It was very comfortable and charming. We would definitely stay the again when possible. The owners were responsive and very helpful. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

The home was spotless well maintained and had everything to cook and serve fabulous meals. The dinning area looks out to the manicured yard and it is beautiful.
Beds were comfortable with nice linens, bathrooms were well stocked too. We all enjoyed our 8 day stay in this home and appreciated the owners care and attention to all the details that make vacations great!!

This house was very comfortable, the instructions were clear and well defined. The kitchen is well equipped. The beach is an easy walk. The only drawback we found was poor lighting in the great room, but that certainly is not a deal breaker!

Monterey Dream come true
Our stay at 1093 Herders Road was fantastic - charming home was clean and comfortable - 5 minute walk to beach - 2 minute drive to Spyglass golf course - short ride to Carmel and Pacific Grove - when we plan our return trip will definitely try to book this home again

The property is beautiful and well maintained. We spent three weeks with our dogs there and walked to the beach every day which was such a treat. It is in a lovely quiet neighborhood and we would highly recommend it.

The perfect golfers and family escape.
My wife and I spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. It’s a perfect home for four golfers or a family gathering. Very well located to Pebble Beach Lodge as well as Spyglass and Spanish Bay.
We will definitely be back.

Fabulous home and neighborhood!
The house is beautifully maintained and well appointed! It has everything family needs in order to have a lovely vacation by the sea! The homeowners are wonderful to work with and made us feel very welcome we hope to return again!

The home was all we expected and more. Great location and very comfortable.
We came down to play in the Champions Tour Tournament and the location could not be any better since we played Pebble, Spyglass and Poppy. The house was roomy and very comfortable and the back patio and deck was very private and beautiful. The house had everything needed.
We would come back again!

Excellent comfortable quiet location
House was on a very quiet street. The owners had thought of everything to make our stay very enjoyable. Kitchen had a wonderful assortment of equipment and utensils. Bathrooms included everything including toothpaste. Wonderful neighborhood where I went on many walks, could hear the seals "barking" from the house. Nice 15 minute stroll to the ocean.

Wonderful Winter Vacation, Celebrating a Special Birthday
We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday with our family in this beautiful home. We were 6 and there was plenty of room for all of us, not to mention, there was not a need or want for anything...all the comforts were provided. Mark was so accommodating and wonderful to work with. The home is warm and cozy and even more beautiful than the photos. As the many years my husband has golfed, he had never played Pebble Beach, so my son and son in law treated him and together they had a wonderful day of golf that he will never forget. While the guys played golf, us ladies explored and enjoyed the surrounding area.
We had been to the Carmel and Monterey many times, but never Pebble Beach and I have to say that I fell in love with the neighborhood. This home is walking distance to the 17 mile drive and what an enjoyable walk.
We are anxious to return, hopefully at the end of the summer!

Beautiful, expansive yet cozy home near Seal Rock
We stayed for 11 days, and could not have been happier. The home, large and well appointed, was extremely hospitable, and we enjoyed the roaring fire in the great room nearly daily during our winter stay. The bedrooms are perfectly appointed, with every amenity you can think of, and the gourmet kitchen has every gadget needed for any meal. A great laundry room suffices for any washing and drying needed, as well. We loved the Playstation, and Apple TV and Netflix were pretty popular in our family. I'd highly recommend this property, which is about 1/2 mile from the beach and Seal Rock. We brought our little chihuahua with us, and she nestled in just as easily as we did in this gorgeous home.

Terrific House and Great Owners
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4-1/2 month stay May-Sept 2016. The kitchen is fabulous with every imaginable utensil, pot, pan, dishes galore, glasses, beautiful spacious fridge, and professional cook top. Three bathrooms made it easy to have guests comfortably. Large master walk in closet was great. High speed internet. Good location and responsive owners always available to help with Qs.

Wonderful 60th Birthday Celebration !!
I planned a vacation to Pebble Beach for my father in laws 60th birthday. The first rental ended up cancelling because of renovations and Mark was VERY QUICK to accommodate my family. Our family lives all over the country and this house had the PERFECT layout to allow for quality family time. We made breakfast every morning in the gorgeous kitchen which saved us both time and money. I was even able to make my father in laws favorite dessert in the kitchen ... it had EVERYTHING !
Walking distance to the beach made for beautiful sunsets, less than 10 minutes to the driving range at Pebble made for easy access to the course, less than 5 minutes from the beautiful 17 Mile Drive, close to Carmel and Monterey Bay's wonderful attractions .... We could not have asked for a better location !
Mark was an excellent communicator throughout the process and his suggestions for golf courses as well as restaurants were outstanding. We ended up playing Pacific Grove as well as Pebble Beach and BOTH had gorgeous beach views on the course. This was my first time planning a trip for my in laws and this hit it out of the park ! If we return to this area we will definitely be staying here again. A++

Outstanding vacation!!
This property is perfect. The layout is ideal, with space for everyone (3 adults, 2 kids and 1 dog). The kitchen is well stocked, the yard is beautiful, and the dining room is bright. The house was very clean and nicely maintained. The beach is a short walk away. Point Lobos, Carmel, Monterey and the aquarium are all nearby. And to top it all off, the owner is responsive and super easy to work with. We highly recommend this property and hope to visit again very soon.

Fabulous Place
Casa Al Mare was the perfect house for us. We were a party of 4 adults, 2 small children and a dog. The house accommodated all of us comfortably. It's clean and well-maintained, with a wonderful back yard. We especially appreciated the large working kitchen. The location is fine -- within an easy walk to the beaches and an easy ride to Monterrey, Pacific Grove and hiking trails -- and the neighborhood is very quiet. Mark was very helpful and gave us detailed instructions on how to use everything in the house. No problems at all. We look forward to staying there again.
