About this cottage rental

Bring your Surf or Paddle Boards!!!! And walk down your semi-private path (shared with only four homes) to one of the most pristine white sandy beaches in Montauk. Imagine not having to deal with Ditch Plains parking! But Beach passes are included to explore other Town beaches, both ocean, and bay, as permitted (a $600 value) The two-bedroom cottage with an open living room with 180-degree views of the ocean (1) King and (1) Queen. It's a short distance to town (you can walk) and is near some of the best restaurants. It's tastefully decorated with TV and WiFi. Ideal for couples or small families. There is outdoor furniture, a table for 6, and a gas grill. This is directly across the street from the ocean. This cottage is on a hill, so you have great 180 degree ocean views and can hear the water from the deck.

7 night rental week begins Friday at 4 pm and ends Friday at 11:00 am. 3-6 night rental must end on a Friday or Monday. There are no early check-in or late check-out times unless the manager can accommodate them.

Pet fee $250 per dog per week. Only small to medium size dogs. No cats or other animals.

We just had an amazing girl's trip to celebrate my daughter's and her best friend's high school graduation. The cottage is exactly as it appears in pictures....perfectly clean, comfortably laid out and with a fabulous view from the deck! The location is great and the host, Jeanne, is super responsive. I hope that we are able to come back....we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect getaway. It’s within walking distance to the beaches and town, which offers laid back and casual, to higher end dining and shops. The property itself is large and well kept. It has plenty of room for dogs to wander unleashed, as we have two pups, 130 and 100 lbs. The cottage was comfortable and very clean, and way better in person than the pictures. Jeannie was a great host, and very easy to talk to and offer advice as to places to go. I would highly recommend this to friends and family, and we are definitely going back. We had a great time.

We stayed at this property 5 years ago, and knew we would be coming back. Jeanne’s place is immaculate, and in the perfect location to go to a quiet, peaceful beach. Beds are very comfortable, and rooms are welcoming. Scandinavian decor vibe mixed with beach cottage feel. Great washer and dryer, beach chairs, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster oven, beach towels. Loads of beautiful shells on the beach. Montauk is a great place to visit, East Hampton and the rest of the hamptons are a quick drive away. 7 minute drive from the cottage to the train station for a day trip to NYC. Walkable to grocery store and downtown Montauk, either on the beach or the path. I’m still dreaming of my mornings on the deck doing yoga and drinking coffee and watching the waves roll in. I stayed here from Saturday 4/27 to Wednesday (5/1), so technically it was still the "offseason." Regardless, your days will be filled with quick walks to the beach, as there are several different private paths to enter the beach across the street (where I also got engaged during my stay!). Additionally, you're just a short drive or walk to town. There are also good hiking trails and Montauk Downs Golf Course if you're into that (we did both as activities during our stay). The cottage itself is stunning. It's a two-bedroom where the bedrooms are located in the back of the house. There is no better sight than opening your bedroom door and being hit with an amazing view of the ocean from the living room. The living area has plenty of space (kitchen, living room, bathroom, laundry) and even a side bed that could sleep another person/couple or just serve as a couch for taking a little power nap during the day. There is also a deck and good size front yard. The host, Jeanne, was very responsive and I would highly recommend staying here. I hope to stay here again to celebrate where my now finance and I got engaged in the future.

Very clean, well stocked cottage. Enjoyed the proximity (within walking distance) to the beach and town. Very comfortable accommodations! Very responsive host who provided recommendations and brought out extra blankets so we could enjoy the porch at night. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at this perfect, quintessential Montauk beach cottage. Ideal location….. quick walk to town & cottage is right across from the beach! There are ocean views from the large deck & the home is clean, spacious, tastefully updated & well appointed! To top it off, Jeanne is an awesome host! We stayed midweek in February. Jeanne was so easy to contact and book our visit. The cottage appeared charming in the online photos and it was even better in person! Immaculately cleaned and prepared, many extras, it really felt like home. The ocean view was amazing and the walk to the beach was just a few minutes. The location is very close to town. The sun beaming into the large windows and warming the living area made the daybed a perfect spot for a mid morning nap. Very peaceful and relaxing and plenty of space as we traveled with 3 teenage girls. We had a lovely time, will definitely be back.

My pup and I had a fantastic stay at this Oceanside cottage. The windows and light are great. Sunrise and sunsets were gorgeous. Within walking distance to town. Kitchen well stocked. Bed and linens were very comfortable. Short walk down to beach which was nearly deserted during this off season; my pup had a fantastic time running up and down it. I will be back!!

This cottage is such a beautiful, bright space, on a relaxing and lovely little property that makes Montauk feel like home while you are there. We stayed for a couple of nights and my only regret is that we couldn't stay longer -- hoping we'll be able to make it back. Jeanne was super kind and checked in on us multiple times during our short stay. We didn't need anything extra since the cottage came sparkling clean and well stocked, but we appreciated her taking the time. Highly recommend!

The owner was a caring and an attentive host. Loved the family history of the property. We arrived at the cottage and the day after we got a couple of feet of snow. The owner checked on us multiple times and genuinely cared about our stay. Thanks for making my wife's birthday weekend a memory we'll never forget.

We absolutely loved this place! First time here and fell in love with Montauk for many reasons including this wonderful cottage. Checked all the boxes: location, views, comfort, cleanliness, and so very welcoming. Enjoyed the deck overlooking the ocean, and easy beach & town access. Jeanne is a gracious host - very responsive to my questions and so dog-friendly (which is extremely important to us). We will definitely be repeat visitors. Highly recommend!

I've been wanting to show my parents Montauk for a few years now and this place was the perfect spot to do so! My husband, parents, and I had a fantastic extended weekend getaway. The place was perfect for 4 adults, with plenty of space to hang out. It looks just like the pictures and is super clean with everything you need. The views from the deck were beautiful and as a standalone structure it was so private and quiet. Walking distance to the beach and town you can't get any better than this place. Definitely want to return!

Our week stay was perfect- the property was incredibly comfortable, well taken care of and had everything we needed. And, the deck - perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night while listening to the ocean. We will absolutely be returning!

For a first-time visitor to Montauk, this property was perfect. Great access to the beach and close to town so you can restaurants. Very clean, pretty spot with a nice kitchen set up too. Would recommend and stay again myself!

Jeanne was quick to respond and extremely accommodating. Very easy to communicate with and the property was perfectly located with an scenic patio, steps to the beach and 15 min walk to restaurants. Very comfortable stay, would definitely recommend.

The property was wonderful and since it was pouring when we arrived and a good part of that day and the next, the cottage was warm and cozy. Jeanne has all you need for a comfortable place with incredible views . Walking to the beach was easy . Beds extremely comfortable, location close to the main strip. Hopefully we can return when the weather is better!! Despite the rain, there are some things to see... the lighthouse and some of the docks in the area. Restaurants served delicious food.

The pup and I had a wonderful stay at Jeanne’s cottage in early spring. Home was even lovelier than the pics online—spacious, bright, comfortable and with all the comforts of home! The cottage was better stocked and the walk across the road to the beach even shorter than expected and I ended up extending my stay as we didn’t want to leave. Jeanne was incredibly communicative and offered great suggestions for places to eat, where to go in the off season. We had a perfect week and a half and will definitely be back!

This property is super cute, quiet, clean and minutes from the beach! Deer grazing in the yard greeted us as we arrived. Communication with the owner was fantastic and quick with responses. 15 minute walk to a cute downtown area with restaurant and shops. Definitely will stay here again.
