This property is very spacious with four floors and very accommodating to a large group needing a lot of bedrooms. The beds were all large but very hard so if you do not like a very firm bed this is not for you or bring a piece of foam. The property is WELL loved and ready for some updates. The decks are all very high and did not feel real secure. We requested maintenance while there as some of the railings were pretty loose. The maintenance team was very prompt in showing up and did do some adjustments for things reported. If you are picky about cleaning or want a tip top place, again this property is probably not for you. The carpets are in need of replacing, two shower doors fell apart and the windows need cleaning very badly. We had to buy a pool stick and chalk as one stick was broken (which we left as our contribution). The bear visits were the highlight. Very friendly and came every day. Make sure you lock your car doors or they will make themselves at home in your vehicle! Voice of experience but they did not tear it up. Just left a lot of muddy spots. :) We did not utilize the hot tub as it was on the second deck and again not as secure as we were comfortable with. The maintenance man said he would be making some adjustments. It really should be on the bottom deck with good support for our comfort level. The property feels like it is corporate owned rather than by an individual who comes to stay. Overall we made it work and had a good time.

No working internet, WIFI or cable which I discovered 30 minutes after checking in on 4/2.
I specifically rented this cabin so I could work because I run several online businesses. It was nightmare scrambling to Gatlinburg daily to try to find WIFI and fielding calls from my employees. Management told me they would send someone out, hours later I called and was told they had other work orders to address first. The internet issue still isn’t resolved. I called Spectrum and it was an issue with the cabin not the service as this property indicated through text. No communication from the property manager-spent 30 minutes on hold filing a complaint with Vrbo and they couldn’t even make contact with the property manager-dirty broken furniture/bedroom door lock broken, sauna had to be repaired, hot tub was disgusting, fans in bathroom areas and ceiling haven’t been cleaned in a LONG time-caked with dirt. Outside windows have a filthy film and spider webs/trash built up on the exterior windows. Some bathroom mildewed and rust on floor from toilets. Water damaged ceiling tiles need to be replaced. I would NEVER stay here again. They didn’t offer to put us in another cabin or a refund. Stay FAR AWAY. I have REAL photos of this property and screenshots of text communication that I would be happy to provide and have emailed to Vrbo.

I'm going to have to join others here and give this place a bad review.
1: I agree, easily the dirtiest cabin I've stayed in. My bed smelled of someone else and the wash rag I tried to use was dirty and used and had just been refolded.
2: The TVs don't work, foosball table didn't work and didn't have a ball, things were broken around the house, the pool table only had one stick, etc. So you pay for the fun things they advertise then you can't use them because they're broken.
3. They called me and demanded I give them my credit card directly even though I paid for extra insurance via VRBO. When I tried to explain that I'm not supposed to pay people directly, they told me they wouldn't let me have access to the cabin. This was the day before my trip, so I was forced to give it to them.
Positives:
This should honestly be an amazing cabin if it wasn't so badly managed. The house itself is awesome and the view from the front porch is spectacular. It's so nice to sit outside and see the Smokey Mountains from the rocking chairs they have on the porch. If they lower the price to really cheap to make up for the fact everything is broken and not clean, then renting this place could make sense.

18 of us (12 adults and 6 children) spent a long Thanksgiving weekend here. Nice space for both gathering and spreading out. People enjoyed all the arcade games, air hockey and pool. Could not find a ball for the foosball game. Location was convenient to Gatlinburg and National Park. Nice hot tub.
Appreciated the large folding table and folding chairs. And two refrigerators made it really nice for so many people. Someone accidentally turned the refrigerator upstairs OFF. Totally our fault, but check that if you notice things warming up.
Lots of plates and cups and pots and pans in kitchen. There were only 13 forks and 6 glasses which seemed odd for a cabin that advertises it sleeps 24. Wish there were large bowls for serving.
We have rented lots of chalets in this area and none of them have been really clean. The bathrooms and kitchen here were adequately cleaned. Lots of grime on fan blades, lights, tops of cabinets and dirty carpeting. Kind of falls in the low middle of the cleanliness levels. We would stay here again.

The entire process of renting this cabin was easy from beginning to end! The cabin was perfect for 6 couples for a long weekend birthday celebration. We enjoyed the many amenities of the home and how each level of the house had a place for our group to gather! The cabin was close to downtown Gatlinburg, too.

Redneck Ritz BEWARE!!! We rented this cabin 2 nights for my daughter’s wedding inviting several family members. It is a spacious cabin but by far the filthiest I’ve ever seen.Tile floors had not been mopped, turning sock and bottom of feet black. Carpet was badly dated and stained everywhere. All showers had mold on doors and around the base. The bathroom on the lower floor had a overhead water leak dripping through the ceiling tiles soaking the bathroom floor. Last but certainly not least, live roaches in the dish washer and silverware drawer. All that was done, a maintenance tech came by with a ceiling tile and said he didn’t know anything about a leak. I was extremely embarrassed when my family showed up. Trust this review because it’s the first bad review I’ve ever posted. Stay away!!!

Communication with the company was great! Checkout was easy. Each level had 2 bedrooms and at least 2 bathrooms. There’s also an attic area that has bunk beds and a king bed in an open space. We had 6 couples stay here comfortably. We had no reason to use the attic area. There was more than enough space! The arcade games, pool table, etc was so cool. Some of the bathrooms in the bedrooms could’ve been cleaner and the furniture and beds are pretty outdated. Overall, it was a good experience, we didn’t want to leave the cabin.

We enjoyed our stay very much! Only inconvenience was due to the tornado nearby we lost power for about 12 hours, we had food go bad and an unhappy infant. I feel like the cabin should have a generator or something for situations like this. Other than that the cabin is beautiful and very accommodating for big families! Has all the entertainment for kids, teenagers and adults. Beautiful view I would definitely recommend and stay here again, everything was very close by as well.

List of things that need attention
This is a copy of the email I sent to Aunt Bugs after we left…
Well, it appears I can’t see the email I sent them after all. I’m sure you can contact them to see the list of issues we encountered. We still overall had a great week, but there were many nuisance issues that we dealt with.

Very nice and clean. We will be back soon.

We enjoyed the cabin. The steps and the step railing where in bad shape. One step was loose and several of the upright pieces were so loose they actually fell out. This is a hue safety issue. We also had problems with the trash. There was already trash in the outside bin when we arrived and it was never picked up the week we were there. 19 people generate major trash in a week.

We stayed at a cabin from Aunt Bug’s over Thanksgiving. The view from outside this cabin is amazing. Who would have thought we would be able to eat Thanksgiving dinner on the deck. The time spent with family was priceless. There were many wonderful memories made. In that regard, we had a wonderful time. That being said, there were many issues with the cabin that were from disheartening to dangerous. Below is a list of the many items that proved to be an extreme disappointment. Thankfully we pulled together and made it work. It has been a few days since we were there as I seriously needed time to review the list and do my best to make it all fact and not opinion. A HUGE home that provided plenty of space for the 9 of us! The wrap around deck is awesome and every sunrise was spent out there..., as well as late afternoons and evenings when we were "home". The views are wonderful and soul cleansing. A bit too close to other homes, especially if you are seeking peace. The home shows a bit of wear which isn't entirely unusual for a rental, but all in all, it's in good shape. Upon our arrival the home was clean (except one toilet, ewww) and the windows at least need the webs cleared away to enhance the views. Also, the hot tub was a bit skunk and in need of some chlorine!! The yard also had trash laying around in it... but we found out why on the morning we left. I believe most of the homes in the area are rentals and some renters refuse to follow instructions about what to do with trash (put it in a secure bin) so all the forest animals come to feast! We saw raccoons and woodchucks throughout our stay in the periphery of the yard enjoying their trashy treats. On the morning we left we got treated to a good sized black bear rummaging through garbage in our yard. From the safety of the lowest deck we all viewed this hungry fella for about 20 minutes, at which time he went running (fast!) up the road. So, keep that in mind if you are going to be out walking around the neighborhood. The various games were enjoyed by all ages, but the air hockey might have gotten the most play. Kitchen was pretty well stocked - could use some more pots. Also, there was no salt and pepper so add that to you list of things to bring.Overall, a nice place to call home for a few days!

Redneck Ritz is a great space for multiple couples. There are 7 bedrooms with access to own bathroom and either a king/queen bed, not just bunk beds! Great view of mountains yet close to the town. Multiple living room areas to watch football and open kitchen for meals and playing games. Only dock one star as appeared the tubs and bed sheets could have been cleaner (hair), but understand this is cabin living! Good amenities and plenty games. Check in was very quick but would be nice if didn't have to drive to office since a lockbox, check out was simple and required just a courtesy call/email. Was overall satisfied with stay and would reommend!

Great location and space for multiple couples getaway
Redneck Ritz provided all the space and amenities needed for a weekend getaway with multiple couples! Each bedroom had access to it's own bathroom plus had a queen or king bed (not just bunk beds like many researched) which was great for a 7 couple retreat. The multiple living rooms and large kitchen area provided plenty of space for watching football and playing games, eating meals. I only dock one star due to some of the tubs and bedsheets appearing not as clean as would expect, just didn't appear laundered, but overall understand cabin living. Great mountain view while also being close to everything in the town. Check out was super easy, although would be nice to not have to go to a physical location for check in as property has a lockbox and cash deposit is not ideal but must be a reason for that. Overall a great value for the money!!

Overall the staff was not very helpful or friendly. The cabin was not clean, the fridge did not work adequately, they do not have basics such as a dish towel and hand soap. They sent an email a week before alerting you of all the things you need to bring, that any where else would be provided (towels, hand soap, toilet paper, trash bags, etc.). The front deck is rotting and posts are falling out. Nails are sticking up out of the deck. Handrails were loose. Very limited seating available outside. The kitchen is a mess. The fluorescent lights were filled with bugs. All beds were incredibly old and uncomfortable. The hot tub hadn't been cleaned, which I alerted them about on the first day, and they did nothing about. They advertise a pool that you can walk to, which is not feasible. It is about a quarter mile walk, however down a very steep and windy hill that would not be safe to walk. The location is good. For half the price, this cabin and company would be suitable, but not worth what we paid and definitely does not meet the description of the property.

Great time with friends and the house was plenty big enough for all. I do think the house is in need of some updates and restocking of kitchen items, cooking items, silverware and glasses. It would be nice to have had more than one kitchen towel and at least a hand towel in the bathrooms. With all that said we would stay at this house again. I did have to contact Aunt Bugs for my deposit return, it took 12 days before I received the check.
