Very nice and spacious room, great bed. Surroundings perfect, with nice outdoor space and small pool.

The inn manager (Andrew) was so kind and welcoming. The restaurant's food was delicious!
The bathrooms are a bit dated.

Loved the hot tub and the bathroom and shower! Great area, quiet. Restaurant right downstairs. Plenty of pillows. Staff were very friendly. Room was very spacious and clean.
Tv was pretty small for a hotel room. Especially a room with 2 queen beds. One bed was very uncomfortable.

Great hospitality!

Friendliest, most helpful, staff I've dealt with at a hotel in years!
It's a bit far from "civilization" which some might want. And it's a bit pricey.

Everything! The room was spectacular. Large, fireplace and 2 balconies. the bathroom was big and had everything you needed, from the Jet tub to the wonderful shower. it was perfect for a beautiful romantic evening. will definitely be back for a longer stay.
Nothing, it was perfect.

Really cute place in a pittoresque town, nice big clean rooms. We even had a jacuzzi in the bathroom! The tavern has high quality food and is open Wednesday to Sunday.
Breakfast is included and kindly brought to the room!

I never knew the existance of Cohasset and I was just amazed by this little town that feels like it's stuck in time. The Inn feels just like an Inn from Old England, It was fantastic !!
It would be great if they could offer a proper breakfast .

Old modernized inn with lots of history. Great tavern and restaurant on site. Period furnishings. Helpful and friendly staff. Great location. Looking forward to a return visit.
If you are short and staying in a room with a poster bedroom remember to ask for a stool. 🤣

Price was great. Staff friendly and professional
The parking. The icey hill. Then a mud/dirt parking lot. I was shocked at that.

Felt so welcome by the staff! Beautiful historic inn!

I liked the staff , at least the girl in the day and her mother at night, totally friendly . The girl showed us around the place. it was built in 1700 and was part of the underground railroad, a tunnel goes from the hotel to the ocean (pretty awesome for history buffs). the breakfast was good. the location was awesome , central to everything. we had 4 windows that looked out directly to the main shops. It had it's own private parking lot.
The guy that worked there was obviously miserable. I spoke to him on the phone when booking the room and his manners were terrible. I thought maybe he was just busy but then I saw him when I was checking out , it wasn't busy and he was the same, maybe one of the owners (sometimes greed makes you lose sight of being polite), very rude. the pool was tiny , only 5' in the deep end. in the room the fridge didn't work, had to unplug it ,let it thaw, empty all the ice that was stuck in the freezer (why it wouldn't work) along with an old freezer pack, it worked well after that. The bathroom door wouldn't close, the lock wouldn't line up, the coffee maker was a cheap little thing and the coffee was horrible (you get what you pay for). Beautiful original woodwork, great big beautiful floorboards and stairs, but one of the stairwells was redone in (get this) 2x4's reminiscent of a cheap deck, not what I expected for $350.00 a night. If they did the stairs right like a 1700's hotel should look maybe it would be worth it (maybe $250.00).

Breakfast was not being served
Hotel was very dark and a bit too “ authentic “

The price and location as great.
The rooms needed some updates - the fan and hair dryer in the bathroom didn’t work. The room we originally asked for was not available to us and we ended up on the second floor which was noiser. We could hear the restaurant music and people upstairs. We also had to wait for the beach pass. We called ahead to reserve it and it wasn’t ready when we got there.

Start to finish was an exceptional experience, having no prior knowledge of the place it blew us away, will definitely return.
Nothing.
