A better description of the building would have helped me know what I was looking for. I had no idea this was a converted house.

The location and cleanliness were great.
Noisy and small rooms.

We loved the room, and the location was perfect for us to do our business.
There was nothing I didn't like, it was perfect for us.

It's a great little inn. The location is terrific. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Even though this inn has a virtual front desk, the staff was really easy to reach and provided us with all of the info we needed to check in. We were very pleased with this inn.
The comforter was too thick for summer.

Centrally located. Good value. Clean facility. Nice staff.
Air conditioning system not effective. The ceiling in the room was low making the room feel chlostraphobic.

Very unique. Great location. Artistically decorated in fun ways.
Noise level was horrific from outside on the weekend. It's across from two bars and they're LOUD on the weekend. With noise and music. It'd be fine if I didn't have to get up early to work on the weekend. But I do.
Also there's no warning of if your room involves stairs. Which are super narrow. It's impossible to haul large heavy luggages up those if you're small.

-cleanliness, comfort, location and coffee :)
no view from my ground level room

Clean room and staff very responsive albeit most is done by phone ad no physical check in. Maid responded quickly to a text to fix the safe.
Way way over priced. Should be $100 to 125 less considering hassles of check in, the neighborhood being far away from central area and next to an Ethiopian restaurant that liked to put out a loud beat til 2AM. Think of your funky room you had in Amsterdam to get a feel for small 20x15 room. Bath about same as living area! so quite generous and nicely redone, but overall the place needs fixing up outside, pick up the junk on the streetside.

Room was clean, bed was bed comfortable, and good location. And the staff that I spoke to was helpful!
I thing the price was too high for it to be a house or “Inn” per say with no microwave and having to share an iron that was located on the lower level. Didn’t like the set up.

This property couldn't have been more perfect for an early appointment At Swedish Hospital Cherry Hill!!
The easy access to parking (FREE), restaurants across the street and even a college track that you could use!
We stayed in Room 105 - a very spacious room that had everything a traveler would need! The bed was so so comfortable that sleep came easily and the only thing that woke me was my dad's snoring!!
It wasn't just the decor that sets this reinvented home apart it is the attention to detail! A rain shower, HUGE bathroom and plenty of room for two to move around and not feel crowded!!
Easy Bluetooth key access and just the CUTEST Seattle decor that just made you forget about your troubles for a while!!
Complimentary water, coffee and tea, snacks to purchase and a mini fridge were available!
We ate at the Taste of Caribbean restaurant across the street and man oh man it is TASTY!!! Fun vibe and wonderful waitress made dinner a delight!!
On a very personal note: my 85 year old dad needed to have some tests done and we were scheduled for an 8 am appointment on a Weds, on our way to Seattle (3 hour plus drive) the dr's office called to change it to Thursday. I was so upset that we would have to pay for an additional night but I reached out to the management and THANKFULLY they were able to move us as they miraculously had availability!
What was a STRESSFUL situation turned out perfectly thanks to the Art Inn. My father and I had a great night sleep, even enjoyed some snacks and streaming tv while there!!
I can't thank them enough!
Nothing!!

Room is very clean, there’s a great shower, bed is comfortable, free coffee/ water in the room, easy check-in process, very nice decor overall.
Street is pretty busy (and noisy), airplane noise and I think we were lucky we stayed on a Tuesday, because there is a bar right across the street that must be super noisy on weekends.

Wasn’t really sure about this one when we arrived as it looked a l like an old wooden hippy house! BUT the room was great, quirky decor but very comfortable and included a kettle (great for we tea drinkers, but is on 2 levels. Location pretty good, as walkers we didn’t mind a half hour walk to the Pike place market. Parking , although a bit rough and ready was available (in an alley out the back) with the reservation (info on which was included in the booking-thank you!). Great shower!
Even thought the whole thing is contactless (no staff), they have an app and someone rang me promptly, to help me when I couldn’t access a form.
Really a good experience!
As an older person, I did find the contactless things a bit daunting, but as I said before, I had very prompt replies to my queries via the app. Even the ‘key’ using your phone was ok once we figured it out. Would really appeal to younger couples.

The area and the room was great. I loved the art, the ambience.
It smelled like a wet rag when we walked in. I highly recommend washing the shower curtain in Clorox or vinegar to remove the smell.

Cute, quiet little place convenient to what we needed.
Nothing.

it was clean
room is too small, we could not walk even 1 step. there was one window in the room and it could not open, we did not get any fresh air, it was really bad we could not sleep because of that. also the mini bar was located in the bathroom. It was really interesting because in all countries food is sacred and can not be placed in bathroom but we did because of that. it was really bad experience. otel also located very close to seattle university and the neighboorhood was so loud, there were parties in 2 nights and we could not sleep.

The room was clean and the communication with staff ahead of arrival was great. Clear instructions were provided for the contact-less arrival and all worked perfectly.
The “secret room” where we stayed has a very low ceiling height. My husband (he is 6’3”) hit his head on a beam in the middle of the night. This should be more clearly communicated to people when booking so that those sensitive to this issue know what to expect, or can make a different choice.

Location is nice for walking (and parking it seemed too). Great French restaurant nearby. Contactless check in is nice even if that means downloading an app (seems par for the course for these types of stays in Seattle). It had what I needed. Seemed really sound proof/quiet but not sure if that’s because no one is here or if they are just quiet ppl staying here. HOT water
I think some ppl would find the room I had very small! But I’m small and alone so didn’t matter to me. more of Airbnb or motel vibe than hotel if that’s also not what you’re looking for. didn’t matter to me!

The room was thoughtfully and nicely renovated. Temperature was easy to control. Bed was big and comfy. Desk was adequate for working on a laptop. Appreciated the complimentary ear plugs.
App to open the doors stopped working before my check-out time. That was stressful but it all worked out thanks to housekeeping staff and her manager helping me out.

The room was clean and was affordable for the area and staff is very responsive and accommodating. My husband was in harborview for a week and we needed an affordable place near the hospital as we don't have family in the area. We asked for a change to a first floor room for accessibility and they helped us right away. Lots of restaurants to try in the neighborhood. And the inn is accessible to the public transport (buses) going to downtown and tourist attractions.
Our first room (twin room) was pretty small and hard to move around in. No elevator and you need to climb up stairs to get to the front door and stairs again for the second floor rooms. Otherwise the inn was a great option for seattle. No microwave in rooms. No room heater.

extremely noisy bar until closing
street light even with black out curtains
bottled water with broken seals
one coffee cup with obvious cracks

Does the job
For the price the room was about what you can expect for a central Seattle hotel room, limited and cramped, but that's mostly the point of the city.
The main problem is how central the home is. I failed to manage much sleep at all with much help from the urban youths spending the night loudly hollering.

I loved the location! It was in perfect walking distance to all of the bars I wanted to go to and super close to a lot of restaurants, fast food and otherwise! I also felt super safe walking around at night in this location, and super safe in the room itself.
The virtual check out was a little confusing, only because I was worried that without talking to a person, they wouldn’t know that I’d actually checked out. But it was much easier than I thought and I actually preferred the virtual check in!

Great spot on Capitol Hill in Seattle! The room I had was just the right size. The only problems I had was in checking in with the app. The customer service representative took care of everything quickly and professionally. Highly recommend! Great value!
