We love the house location, kitchen amenities available (the modern appliances are awesome!) and being kid & pet friendly. They have plenty of towels, includung beach towels, which is nice. However, it feels more like your staying in an old lake cabin as far as "cleanliness". Most areas of the home are covered in wood paneling, which is cute, but they are filthy with dust and heavy coating of cobwebs. We were getting ready to go to bed and discovered lots of remnants of the prior guests (TONS of hair, dirt, and makeup smear) on the sheets. Gross!! Guest services responded really quickly and suggested that clean sheets should be available in the closet (they were NOT) :( . I ended up laying our own blankets on top of the bed because we were exhausted, and I washed the sheets ourselves the next day. The box fan available was covered in thick dust and sticky grime, so was unusable. There was one smaller fan available to use, but I'd suggest one for each room be available.. The backyard is cute and again, is pet and child friendly, but there was a ton of trash in the flower beds. I sent photos to the customer service, and they offered to send somebody out to the property. We declined, as we were in the middle of dinner, etc. The last noticable cleanliness issue was seeing several huge hairballs from a long-haired yellow dog rumbling across the living room (our dog is black short-haired).
The hot tub was nice for soaking but most of the jets were not working. But overall nice.

Me and my family LOVED staying here, it was so cute and so close to the beach. Loved it and recommend it to anyone!

The house fit our family (and dog well). Super close to beach and the promenade. Never had to get in the car outside of a quick trip to the store. Only issue we had we reported which was damaged screens, which meant lots of flies in the house when we arrived/during our stay. Hope that was fixed before the next family arrived.

Our stay was good, they told us that we could enter earlier.
pros: grill, firepit, sauna ready, although the sauna had sand at the bottom, but we saw it as normal. The kitchen was well equipped, as were the bathrooms. Several board games and highchair. Super close to the beach. A washer and dryer was a plus.
Cons: they need more cleaning, several cobwebs on the ceilings, the box fans are super dirty, the blades were almost black from so much dust or dirt, I had to turn them on like that, because it was hot. The fireplace didn't light and finally the bedspreads They have a very strange smell, like old and itchy the skin, do not use them.The tablecloth is already very worn and old.The bedding and box fans need an upgrade. We would like to return, hopefully they make those few improvements.

The location is AMAZING. The house was clean and had all of the amenities you could need. The fenced in yard was perfect for our furry friends; and the dog bed they had available was such a nice touch!
My only issue was that the fitted sheets for the two queen beds weren't great - one had a hole in it and it kept coming off of the mattress and the other had a significant amount of pilling with hair stuck in it. We just slept on top of the blankets which was fine since it was warm out. If they could get new sheets for the beds this would have been a 12/10 stay!

This is the perfect spot to bring your family or friends. The house was filled with extra towels, utensils, everything you’d need. Not only was it comfortable, you’re also within walking distance of all things Seaside. We can’t wait to visit again, thank you!

We have come here 3 times now. The home is beautiful and location is excellent. Of all the trips this was the dirtiest this home has been though. We love this home but we were upset with how nasty the hot tub was and the bedrooms bedding was, as it was not cleaned (questionable stains). I had to clean the hot tub out for us before use and the bedding. The furniture is getting very dated and crowded. This is the same furniture from 4 years ago, the kids are all growing and there is less and less room for the entire family in the living room. This is a house for a large family and the furniture needs reflect that. We will see how things are next time, if no changes we may look into a new home.

Weekend getaway with our two teenagers and we loved our stay! Loved to be able to walk to town and to the beach! We loved the hot tub after a long day of walking, shopping and collecting sand dollars. We loved our stay very much and the home was very comfortable! We will definitely be back!

We got there, it was the perfect place for my family, peaceful and cute with a cabin feeling, a very quiet and safe environment with lots of games and puzzles for the kids, it was one of the best trips we’d ever gone on!

Neptune’s Place is the BEST! This is my second stay in this home and we just loved it! Fantastic location, well appointed kitchen with a big table for meals and games! The hot tub is a wonderful amenity, as well! Highly recommend this home for your family’s stay in Seadide!

The location is a couple blocks from the main drag in Seaside and less than one block from the beach. Very comfy beds, full kitchen, laundry, and cozy but spacious home.

Loved the size and the heat of the hot tub. It was perfect for our group of four. Brought two geriatric puppies and all of their belongings, but when we got there, there was a leash we could use (we didn't need it but appreciated the gesture) and doggy poo bags present (again, we brought our own). The living space is spacious and the table was great for four to play games/play D&D on. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked with utensils and appliances. Spaces were very clean throughout except for some carpet stains on the second floor landing and on room with the full-sized beds. Parking spaces were alright - it's setup for two cards one in front of the other, and the space that's in front can be a little hard to get in/out as well as take travel bags/stuff in and out. Would recommend overall!

It was my girlfriends first time seeing the ocean, so the location and beauty of this rental enhanced that experience even more! It was just the two of us and we had plenty of room. Everything worked, everything was nice in and around the home. Little dusty in spots but to be expected.
We walked the promenade every day to get food, shop, or just walk the beach. The location was just perfect for our getaway!

Perfect location. Some pet hair balls left under couch, mildew on the bottom of a shower door and some repairs needed that the property manager plans to fix. House can get stuffy if you dont use the fans and the bathrooms are downstairs so take care during late night trips down the stairs. Otherwise great space and really great location

This was my first time using VACAS and we were here to catch th 4th July fireworks on th beach by Wyndham.
I was not disappointed at all.
My only concern was th couple boys staying on th property behind us (I assume renters also) insisted on using th back fence as a soccer ball back stop. (at least 2 fence slats were broken...I asked them to be more careful but to no avail. Th parents did not support my concern either. Boys will be...oh well)
Th yard was wonderful for our service dogs.
I Do Think anyone would enjoy this Seaside hideaway.

It was wonderful,nice & quite everything & more !! We got Rest & Relaxation,That we Both Needed oh so bad! Didn't hear the dog Bark at All !! I wish I could afford a house of my own ,Out of the city it's hard getting Older !! But the Experience Was Beautiful 😍 Thank you Again Next Time we will Downsize as that was Alot of Room & I need a Bathtub &bathroom on the ground floor !! Again Thank you so much!!!

The location is a quick 1/2 block walk to the beautiful beach. The kitchen and dining room is great for cooking and gathering. There's an additional outdoor entrance from the hot tub area that goes directly to the bathroom/laundry area which is very convenient.
The bedroom walls are paper thin so you hear everything. Part of the fence was broken and previous guests did not pick up after their dog so the yard wasn't as useful as it should of been.
I recommend paying for the trip insurance. What was supposed to be a 90 minute commute, ended up bring 6 hours of detours and stopped traffic because of a storm. We ended up turning around and missing our first night because of the highway being closed. After two calls, I was told there would be no credit or reimbursement.

The proximity to the beach is amazing. The accommodations in the house were great too, and there was a hot tub and lots of board games. We have stayed at Neptune's Place more times than I can count on two hands and we can't wait to go back again!! 10/10, would recommend.

This property was perfect for our group of 5 including our adult children in late 20s. Seaside has plenty of fun distractions for them day & night when they get bored of hiking and sightseeing with the parents. This particular house was a short walk to the center of the action or to the beach, yet far enough away that we could leave the windows open and not hear any noise from the the crowds on Broadway. Clean, spacious, well-appointed.

My family and I love staying at Neptune’s Place. It is clean, cozy and has all the amenities we are looking for. My kids love the bunk bed room, and I was very happy with the comfort of the queen bed. We used the fire pit and hot tub every night to recover from our days of playing on the sand. The beach, arcade and restaurants are all within walking distance. We can’t wait to have another getaway at Neptune’s!

This updated cabin-type home was fantastic for two couples to unwind on a long weekend. Short walks to the beach in the mornings were a great start to each day and there was plenty to do around town. Fun for all ages really! While the weather kept us in more than we’d hoped, we enjoyed the hot tub during cloud breaks. The kitchen allowed us to comfortably prepare meals at home and the newer appliances were a nice touch. The rooms were quaint yet comfortable. The bunk room would be good for a small family as well. We would absolutely rent again.

We enjoyed the house and proximity to the beach. The only complaint is the bedrooms are upstairs and the 2 bathrooms are on the main floor. That makes a rough go of middle of the night bathroom trips ! Perhaps a sofa sleeper on the main floor for those of us that use the bathroom more than once in the night
