About this house rental

This is a wonderful, comfortable two bedroom cottage built in 1926. It's been fully updated and furnished with your comfort in mind. The promenade and beach are a mere 1/2 block from the house. Build a bon fire on the beach or stroll down the promenade to the very vibrant downtown Seaside, only minutes away (six blocks). The Seaside Aquarium is literally around the corner!

The master bedroom offers to you a King size Casper mattress, the most comfortable mattress on the market. Sleeping in the second bedroom? There's a Casper mattress for you too! It's Queen size, but just as comfy! The third bed is a sofa sleeper.

You can't count on sunshine at the Oregon coast, so we have plenty of things for you to do when you're in the house. Enjoy Dish Network on a big screen HD TV, or stream your favorite show through our Google TV/Chromecast. There are plenty of board games and books to keep you and your family entertained. A high speed internet connection with WiFi is ready for you to connect all your devices.

Easy drive up and walk to beach or downtown restaurants. This house had everything we asked for plus. I have to say that our age range was 68-81 and the front steps were a bit of a challenge, there are no grab bars in the bathroom and the toilet is very low to the ground for older folks. We didn't think we needed "disabled" access but some easy access would have helped. We hope to stay here again.

The place is so close to everything. A block from the beach and walking distance to the prom and all the shops and restaurants. Extremely dog friendly. Plenty of parking.

We booked our stay one day before leaving. Our 1 yo daughter came down with a high fever the morning we were supposed to leave, and we spent the day at the doctors. I alerted the owner we wouldn't be able to stay, and asked if we could come another time. He said no. When I asked if we could at least get the cleaning fee back, since it wouldn't need to be cleaned, he never responded.

Perfect location. The AM/PM routines for our huskies was seamless as the walk was peaceful and so close to the promenade and beach. Amenities were generous as we enjoyed cooking nightly. Watched College football as well as MNF which delighted the husband. Quiet neighborhood charm was just what we needed. Would recommend highly !!

We loved our time at this beach house. It was a great location. Close to the beach, prom and downtown. We kept our car parked most of the time and loved walking everywhere. The sand dunes caught us by surprise, but we were able to get better supportive sandals and water shoes and all three of us were able to walk through the sandy dunes ok. We had the best weather...sunny and hot everyday. There was hardly any wind, so it felt a lot warmer. We just love the ocean and it was refreshing. My husband and I, with our adult daughter loved our vacation! We would love to stay here again. Our grandpup did well too and felt comfortable in the house. We are grateful we found this home and hope to stay there again. 😊 ( We didn’t interact with the manager at all, but we knew if we had a question or problem, we could reach to him. )

This cute little house was the perfect location, perfect size and perfect for our family and dogs. We enjoy how close it was to the beach and downtown. Parking was no hassle and were able to walk to everything.. Thank you for a great place to stay for a beautiful week!

Very easy to find, experienced a little trouble getting in as the door code hadn't been updated but was remedied quickly with a phone call to the property manager. Very nice, cozy place...kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. No complaints ...really just a nice quiet getaway with access to the beach and all the activities of Seaside. Would definitely recommend for quiet relaxation.

This place was very conveniently located, near the prom and town. Just don't expect much from the house. There are two bedrooms and the extra bed folds out, but is too big to fit in a bedroom with the bed, so the only place we could think was the living room. My daughter slept on the couch instead.

The house was in a nice location. very central close to the beach and shopping activities. It was clean and had everything we needed. On the first day which was a rainy day , we were all happy to in and just get know each other again. You see my daughter and son just returned stateside. We had not seen each other for any length of time for about eight years. We stayed and played games had good food and just lounged around. The second day of stay was not as wet. We were able to go down to the beach and spend a couple of hours out there. It was peaceful and the dogs were comfortable. They got to run around and have a great time. The neighbors were quiet and were friendly willing to chat it up a little bit. Our goal for this getaway was to rest, recharge, spend some time with my daughter and son-in law. We spent three days together and my husband and myself succeeded in spending the weekend together without responding to the stressors of of our day to day life. I will definitely be back again and would recommend this host to all of friends and family. Thank you.

We were looking for a last minute weekend trip and what a gem we found. Off street parking, 1 block to the beach, 5 blocks to Broadway. Clean homey you can’t beat this place.

Overall it was a good place to stay. With prices extremely inflated, I would say our stay was overpriced with a few things that could be much better. Of course, the location could not really get any better than this with a short walk to a more secluded beach, and a short walk to the main shopping drag of Seaside. The home looks nice from the outside but is a bit run down on the inside. Could use new paint with maybe some accents walls to add some color, a new toilet that isn't made for a very short person, new towels that are softer, a new shower liner without pink mold/scum, and new dish sponges for each quest (the ones left were well used). Additionally, it would be helpful to have television remote instructions, and the TV remote was missing. All in all though, the home had a good feel to it. Could just use some updating and TLC. Another note for the owner/manager is that a lot of water was coming into the mud room under the door from the excessive amount of rain this morning..

We loved our week here, home was clean and cozy, super close to the beach, host was fantastic to communicate with, the weather was all sun and we spent hours at the beach (which was perfect with our dog) just enjoying the waves and sunsets! Will be back!

We were supposed to meet friends in Bend for a few days. At the last minute, they both got Covid. So we had to change our plans on a dime. We chose to go to the Coast. We looked for a place that took dogs and found this place. It was right by the beach, which was perfect for walking. It was an ideal location. It would have been nice if it had a fenced yard. But we made it work as we weren’t at the house that much. Overall, the house had everything that we needed and really made our stay comfortable. Thank you for trusting us with your home!

This place was awesome! It’s maybe a block from the beach and super central to both the beach and getting out to Ecola for exploring the state park. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well-kitted for cooking and the washer and dryer are super nice for extended stays. I’d definitely like to stay here again!
