Why choose The Breakers?
Location, location, location! The Breakers is a 120 unit complex right on the beach at beautiful Hilton Head Island. It has a heated pool (as needed March - November); there is also a separate children's pool (unheated). There is wireless internet access and cable television. It is directly across the street from Coligny Plaza with its variety of shops and restaurants - so a very short walk to restaurants, shops, a cinema, a grocery store, a coffee shop and several ice cream stores. You can leave your car in the parking lot for your entire vacation and walk or bike everywhere you want to go.

Why choose this unit?
The location offers a wonderful view of both the pool and the ocean. Breakers 226 is directly in the ''center of the horseshoe''. The quality furnishings and lovely beach decor make this unit a great choice. There are beach chairs for guests to use.

We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen. There are tile floors and granite countertops. The bedroom and living room are carpeted.

There is a HEPA air filter that is supposed to catch dust, pollen, allergens and even the COVID-19 virus.

Please Note -
The Breakers units are small - 518 square feet - so they are best for a couple or a family with small children. There is a queen sized-bed in the bedroom, children's bunkbeds in a cubby in the hall (kids LOVE these!) and a very comfortable Queen sized pull-out couch.

The kitchen has a refrigerator (with icemaker), dishwasher, stove, convection oven/microwave, blender, crock pot and coffee maker (standard and KCup). There is a stackable washer and dryer.

The complex does not allow pets or grilling. There is no smoking in the Breakers' common areas - including the pool. This villa is non-smoking (including the balcony); sadly other units do allow smoking on balconies.

You must be 25 years old to rent.

Finally, there are now 2 elevators at The Breakers!!!!

There is cable TV in the living room and bedroom but there is no landline telephone service. Our cell phones work great in the unit; yours should too. We offer wireless internet access.

Finally...
Cleaning is included in the rates but 11% South Carolina taxes are not. VRBO/Homeaway is now charging a service fee.

One parking pass is issued for each stay. No boat and trailer parking. Check-in time is 4:00 PM; check-out time is 10:00 AM.

Note - a national pest control company sprays the whole Breakers complex the second Monday of each month. They do come inside the units to spray.

We found this place and what a deal! Hotels were going to be much more, like almost double when addrd their parking fees. The other factor was size. Even though this unit is only 500 some odd SF it was still quite a bit larger than any hotel room, which run about 300 to 350. So we got a bigger place aless money. This place is right on the beach, w a great view and short walk. Pool was accessible as well and parking was included. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. We'd highly recommend this location. Having our own beach chairs and umbrella onsite was so nice to just carry to the beach daily. Rinse off station was on the way back before the pool. Having a kitchen to prepare some of our meals was also great. The bedroom was tight with the bed in it but having a seaparate bedroom was a great feature from the bunks or the pullout bed in the living room. Our contact was VERY responsive to texts if we had questions or brought anything to her attention.

Great location, could walk everywhere as we flew into HH and didn't have a car. Right on the ocean, could hear and see it every day from the room. Very clean and had everything you needed. Keurig was a little finicky but let the owner know. Such a wonderful spot and unit. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. The condo was clean and easy to access. Communication with the owner was outstanding throughout the week. No issues with anything in the unit. Great view over the pool and out to the ocean from the window and deck. Very short walk to the beach. Used the beach chairs and umbrella provided. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and bike rentals. Everything about the trip was fantastic.

Everything was as described. So close to access everywhere. This place has beach chairs and umbrellas that made playtime at the beach more fun. Any condiments and food you need can be purchased at Piggly Wiggly. We ran out of paper towel and toilet paper, and Piggly Wiggly sold them individually. I called the owner once to ask the gate key to the beach. Easy to communicate. Definitely will come back.

Steps from the beach, pool, shops, good restaurants, bike rentals, a park with huge kids playground- you can’t go wrong with this one. The balcony is a good size with a view of the beach and pool. Traveled with my spouse and six year old daughter. The bunk area was perfect for her. Could easily accommodate a child of any age, petite person or young adult. We will definitely attempt to stay here again next time we are visiting family on Hilton Head.

I love the Breakers location. You are right on the beach and you can bike or walk to so many fun shops and restaurants. I have stayed at other Breakers condos before and they are all small but perfect for a couple or a small family. This particular condo (226) is clean and well maintained and has a great view. The owner is very responsive; you can tell that she really cares about her condo. I will be back!

The property was as advertised and the view was beautiful. The location was perfect and was only steps away from the beach. It was also within walking distance to restaurants, the grocery store, shopping and more. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was clean and well maintained. We felt safe and welcomed. The condo wasn’t as comfortable as we had hoped. The bedroom was small and cramped. The queen sized bed was pushed up against a wall with barely enough room to maneuver around. It made getting in and out of bed extremely difficult as well as making up the bed each day. The bed was uncomfortable as were the pillows that were hard and flat. The shower didn’t drain properly so you were always standing in ankle deep water. The baseboards and walls were dirty, showing splatters and streaks in every room. The whole unit has a musty smell making it very unpleasant. The only plus was that it was in a central location, with beautiful ocean views and overlooking the pool.

Condo unit was fine except tor the fact that the bed was very large for the bedroom and could only be accessed from one side. This is more difficult for people who are quite old. Otherwise the accommodations were OK and location was good.

My wife and I loved this condo. It was very clean and had all the necessary items we needed for our stay. Very comfortable. Take the stairs or the elevator and you are steps from the pool or beach. Across the street from shops and restaurants. Walking and bike paths are just a few paces away. Parking was very easy. Our host, LeAnn, was great. She provided all needed info well before arrival and was easy to communicate with. This is a great spot!

This is a great place to stay. You can walk to most restaurants and shops. Pool was warm and felt great for October. We loved our trip. The condo has everything you need and more! Nice beach chairs and boards , well equipped Kitchen, nice table and chairs on the balcony to sit and have breakfast and enjoy the view! The owner makes it so easy and is very accommodating in every way. We will be back!

Great location

This location is in very close walking distance to Coligny shopping center with restaurants and shop, even a piggly wiggly. The only down side is that it’s right next to the public entrance. The beach was extremely crowded Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The room had a robo vacuum which was great and an spectacular view of the pool and decent view of the ocean. The mirrors in the bedroom and living came in handy as we had 2 twelve year old girls with us that love to lock themselves in the bathroom to look at themselves for hours. I would definitely recommend to others with small kids or as a couple.
