Great location close to the beach and town, cozy cottages with all necessary amenities. Highly recommend these cute accommodations!

Wasn’t here for long, maybe 13 hours on our road trip, most of which asleep. Nice toiletries, plenty of towels and great location but property could do with an update, particularly the flooring and more than 1 wine glass.
5.0
Very clean, walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

The room was dirty when we checked in. Dirty linens and towels on the floor, dirty bathroom, food left in the fridge. Turns out the toilet was broken. Wasted about an hour trying to contact the management. Ended up canceling and booking alternatives accommodations.

Close to town, quiet!

The frog pond and the beautiful soothing melody of frogs singing to us in the evening or when it rains.

The heater in #5 was not working, had to ask for help from the cleaning guy. I wish the door code was less than 10 digits, it was a slight pain to open up my phone to get the code from a email.

Close to the beach. We walked a ton. Close to town shopping, food, beach, etc

Location was amazing! Just a short walk away from the beach! Great distance from downtown Cannon Beach! It was dog friendly which was a plus for us. For the price the place was great. Check in and check out was easy. The only downfall was one of our lights did not work in the living room area. Other than that would come again.

Cute little place a couple of blocks from the beach. Overall a decent place to spent a couple of nights. One light fixture burned out and some of the plugs in the kitchen didn’t work, could use a better cleaning between renters, was dusty . Also could use a rug or mat at the door and a sponge mop to clean floor. Gutters at the front door need cleaning as we stayed during a rain storm and porch was flooded. We will rent again in the future, overall a nice little place by the beach

Affordable and centrally located. A little ragged around the edges but good if you just want a place to sleep. Listing online showed furniture that was not there…. Only a daybed to sit on which was not the most comfortable. Vacasa is always great to work with!

I felt the place was run down and dirty. The couch smelled. The bedroom smelled. Very small accommodations.

We loved this perfectly located spot in Cannon Beach! Hardly needed to use the car we could walk everywhere! It was just my teenage son and I and we enjoyed having separate spots to sleep! Everything you need in the kitchen to cook meals too! We loved walking into town, to Haystack Rock and we were only a few minutes from coffee and great dining ! Locking the door and unlocking a little tricky - was glad to have a teen with me. I would bring your own hair-dryer and a steamer or iron as their dryer is weak and there is no closet or much space to hang your clothes and no iron or steamer. ;) Would absolutely stay here again!

The space was clean and the beds acceptable. The outdoor common space could use some attention: dead grass, no flowers, broken Adirondack chairs, a small fire pit would make a nice addition.

My wife and I have unintentionally traveled to this same Cannon Beach cottage every year for the past 4 years around the October timeframe each year. There's a certain charm about Cottage #5 with the way the inside is painted and the layout of the main bed with the yellow-painted ceilings. This year, there were quite a few things amiss with the cottage.
Again, I come here year over year, so I am quite familiar with the cottage and changes that it may have endured.
The most obvious one are the stains on the carpet. There are really bad stains on the carpet all over the inside once you step off of the pergo-like entryway. They are round spots, as if a pet had relieved itself all over the cottage. My wife and I usually bring our dogs to the cottage and are familiar with what pet stains look like. No, they don't relieve themselves in the cottage. There is a massive stain by the table on the side of the carpet leading to the kitchen that used to not be there last year. Between the bedroom and the living area, there is a rug draped over an area that appears to have had the carpet completely chewed through by an overly aggressive wildebeest. I would have expected the carpet to be replaced, but the rug was a quick fix. The towels in the bathroom were already wet when I first arrived -- I can understand possible dampness from the environment, but these towels appeared to have been used and/or not changed out even if they were folded. The bed sheets were clean however and dry and remained comfortable to sleep in and laze in.
The wall power plug by the table next to the kitchen seems to have stopped working several years ago... that should probably be fixed.

we had a great stay. small quaint place. perfect for our family of 3. we travelled with a baby so if you are looking for space to have baby in a quiet room it was a little difficult to do. other than that great location for walking to two and the beach. because it was dog friendly people were leaving their dogs in the cabins and they were barking like crazy waking us up. but just a minor problem. would visit again

Musty odor. Stained carpet. Cobwebs on walls.

Left garbage in the bag by the outside door & vacuum and broom inside by the front door. Wish there were lines indicating
where the parking spots were for each room. Other renters took spaces that we had hard time to park. However, service was nice and comfortable to stay.

Code to get in very long, fireplace decided to keep going well past set temp. I called only number given and got no help. Opened all windows and thermostat at 60, it finally quit. Could have been dangerous.

Great inexpensive and close to the beach
We enjoyed our stay in #5 at Hidden Villa Cottage in Cannon Beach. Close enough (2 blocks) to the beach and a few blocks from downtown shopping and eateries. We walked everywhere, enjoyed the beach, slept well in the cozy little cottage. Perfect for two people and a third little one or doggy family member. The ONLY problem is the dirty carpet it needs to cleaned or replaced. Otherwise it was a gem. Thank you!

Perfect location
Loved being close to beach and town. Cottage is adorable! We couldn’t find a corkscrew. That was the only glitch!

Great location
Wonderful location and closer to Haystack Rock. Very quaint. At night the frogs entertain you. Loved having heat turned on which lights the fireplace. Comfortable bed and kitchen had what you need.

Lovely little getaway
We enjoyed our stay in the little cottage. I think, to some extent, what you get from staying here depends on your expectations. This is very affordably priced, and you have your own full space. It's only about 1.5 blocks from the ocean and roughly a mile to all the good eating locations. But it IS a beach house, and one that's typically pretty fully-booked. That means there is some light wear and tear you'll notice. But it's wholly private, the little fireplace is nice, the day bed/couch is SUPER comfortable and everything works. The kitchen is full of whatever you need to make meals if you want to save on going out for food all the time (and the Mariners market is roughly a mile, too, so walking distance for groceries!)

Just Right
We made a spontaneous trip to Cannon Beach in January when the weather was sunny and not to miss. In looking for a place that was not terribly expensive, we found this spot. Although there are several fees that end up adding up, it was a good location and a nice spot to stay. We were just a block and a half from the beach and an easy access to downtown. This makes the location just about perfect.
