About this apartment rental
Welcome to our beautifully renovated condo with a rustic theme. Ours is a rare end unit with a balcony. We are in a great location, with mostly "ski-in/ski-out" access. When the snow level allows, there is a groomed trail about 20 feet from our door which leads to the mid mountain Ritz Carlton Gondola & full mnt access. With less coverage you will have a 5 minute walk across the parking area to the groomed slope at most. There's no need to take the shuttle or get in your car. Also a 5 minute walk to the village.
After you book and prior to your arrival, you will receive a custom front door key code for your check in.
Our Ski Trail condo which sleeps 6 is a rare end unit with a balcony. Our condo is an upper unit and involves stairs.
From the parking area there is a paved path with gradual stairs about 25-30 yards to the building.
Our kitchen is fully equipped including a new, self-cleaning gas range, all dishes, silverware, glassware and pots and pans for most types of cooking. There is an electric coffee maker, and there are also additional items like paper towels, napkins, coffee filters, and dish soap for both the sink and dishwasher.
***Our condo is not appropriate for children 5 and under***
We have an "open tread" stairway and a loft bedroom with a bed up against a 3 foot loft wall. Difficult for little ones to navigate.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, and is on the main level. A queen and two twin beds are in the loft. There is a narrow stairway up to the converted loft. All bed linens are provided as well as bath towels/hand towels/wash cloths (for 6 guests) in the bathroom (1 Bath).
Our condo is a short walk via a lighted asphalt path which leads to the pedestrian friendly village featuring a variety of shopping options from stylish boutiques, art galleries and specialty retailers to a collection of cafes and restaurants all centered around a an ice skating rink in the winter and a skating rink in the summer

Everything was perfect. It was quite clean, directions were very clear. We are beginner skier so we could not use HomeRun trail but owner gave very detailed directions to how to go to village run trail from the cottage. We just parked our car 600 feet from the cottage and went to skiing.

We were so grateful this condo was available last minute as our reservation for another condo was cancelled 2 days before we were supposed to leave. The owner was quick to respond and very helpful! The condo is perfect ski-in ski-out, so super easy to get to the slopes early and ski almost right to the condo at the end of the day. The rec center is so nice to have parking for the village if you don’t want to walk and the pools and hot tubs are perfect after a day on the slopes. We would stay here again.

Marcia’s condo was a wonderful place to stay at Northstar in the summer. It seems like it would be a great spot for the winter too. The location is hard to beat being close walking distance to the center of the resort. The place was very clean and orderly and had everything that we needed. The building was quiet. We couldn’t hear any noise from neighbors. The condo was easy to get to and there was plenty of parking too. Marcia was very communicative. I would stay here again. Thanks!

Had a wonderful time... everything was provided. Nice, comfortable master bedroom, and tons of sleeping options up in the loft. Ski trail was just a short walk. Great communication with owner gave me confidence that any issues would be handled promptly. Look forward to returning!

My family of 6 had a great time staying here. The location was fantastic - just 50 feet or so from the Home Run trail at Northstar. While we were there the snow was so high that it was difficult to get up to that trail, so we walked to a different access point a bit further away, where you could get onto Village Run more easily.
The house was very clean, I'm used to ski condos having gritty floors and a somewhat musty feel, but there was none of that. And there were 6 beds, which was great for us. The only negative was 6 of us having to share 1 bathroom, and there were only towels for 4 provided. But we made do and would definitely stay here again!

If you are looking for comfort and ease getting to the slopes this is the condo for you. It sits at the end (farthest point from the Village Run) on Coyote Fork on the second story which means you're hauling luggage and food up a couple flights of stairs. But once inside the condo it's comfortable the fireplace works beautifully a well as the gas grill for burgers. The owners are very communicative with any needs or changes which makes staying here a breeze.

Great location, ski slope is 30 steps away from Condo. Could ski to condo even in March.
Very well stocked condo (kitchen had spices, sugar .....)
pictures and description reflects condo very well.
Family of 4 (parents and two teens) were very happy. Kids stayed in the loft area.
Being so close to the slope was great since I had to attend some meetings on my computer and it was not a big deal to hop on and off the slope.
Would rent it again any time

This is my second stay. I absolutely love this condo. It’s clean and comfortable. It’s within walking distance of the village and very cute on the inside. Though during hot weather, a fan would have been nice.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. It is exactly as described on the web. Everything is clean and easy to use. Instruction is clear. Location is superb. Marcia is very responsive to all the questions. Her willingness to accommodate for a late check out time really helped us as we wait for our teenagers to return from ski.

Overall, the condo was great. I've been using VRBO for over 10 years now and this Northstar condo was a gem. Condo and amenities were exactly as described. The owner (Marcia) communicated everything with us every part of the way, and whenever there were issues our communication was almost in real-time (didn't take more than a few minutes for her to reply). Some things to take note of to make your stay even better:-There are quite a bit a stairs from the parking lot to the front door, so if you have a wagon or a lot of luggage, prepare to make several trips.-The hike down to the village area is still a bit of a walk, so if you have little ones, would highly recommend to take the shuttle or drive.-The fireplace still requires a lighter or match to start. I read the instructions as the gas log "lighter" being inclusive of both a gas element and a spark element, but I was wrong. Luckily there were matches provided in the kitchen drawers. -Some of the clocks in the condo are a little loud (ticking) at night. So if you are light sleeper, would recommend to take the room downstairs with door closed, or to temporarily move the clock upstairs to a closet or something. Overall, we would definitely come back. Thank you Marcia for our weekend celebration.

This is a great condo on the slope above the village. When the snow is good, it would be a great ski in/out place. It was perfect for my family of 4. My kids loved the loft area and the fireplace was great! Very clean and the owner was very responsive. Hope to go again soon!
