We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was quiet and relaxing. The house was clean and welcoming. The views of the lake were breathtaking - especially the sunsets. We had great weather to enjoy the kayaks and canoe that were available. We can't wait to visit again next year.

This cottage was just the right size for our family. We enjoyed the view from the deck. It was very close to the rest of our other family for our reunion.

The host was extremely easy to communicate with, check in and out was seamless. The bottle of wine left for us was a thoughtful touch! Beautiful view of lake from the house. Lots of fun places to explore in the area!

Great place to stay! Although we are not wine drinkers the country side and vinyards were beautiful. We went to see a few waterfalls that were spectacular!
It was cloudy the whole time we were there so sunshine would have been appreciated.
Maybe have some kind of freshener in the house, would have helped the oders.

The place was great, beautiful lake views, only complaint would be the amount of bugs inside and out, but, the home is in the woods, can’t really help that, but for 3 city girls it was a little much! I would stay again!

Our grandson was graduating from college. We found we didn't mind the drive to and from the college because we so enjoyed the house and lake view. We actually had planned to leave Sunday but the wineries and relaxing amenities of the house prompted us to stay the full time we had booked. We would definitely book again!

Fabulous place! Secluded with a gorgeous view of the lake. Near all the wineries. Quiet, serene escape from the city. All the conveniences of home. Lovely hosts with great communication. We'll return again and again.

The house was perfect and had everything we needed! The view is wonderful and going down to the lakefront was so nice and peaceful. We felt very welcomed! The location is also wonderful. So close to so many great wineries, breweries and restaurants! Already looking forward to coming back and staying here again!

All the personal touches that make this cottage truly special. Thank you Elisabeth and Paul for sharing your home and for that delicious bottle of wine!

We had a pleasure staying at the Cliff House. Check in and check out was a breeze. The house was very clean and the view was amazing. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook. It rained so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the spacious deck with all the seating available. I would definitely recommend this place.

Within 3 hours of arriving at the Cliff House my son said, "We could come back here next year...." Everything was just right and pretty much everything we thought of while we were there was there: kayaks, canoe, gas grill, traditional coffee maker. The house was well located for vineyards and hikes and it was just perfect for our family gathering. I hope we can turn our visit to Cliff House into a family tradition.

One of my favorite rentals ever. Cottage was clean and had all the modern conveniences while still feeling like a cottage. Spent lots of time on the deck with beautiful views of Seneca Lake including sunsets, then cooler evenings inside next to the fireplace reading and watching movies. Excellent!!

We totally enjoyed our visit. So quiet, peaceful. The view of the lake was amazing. Had plenty of room for the 3 of us and the kitchen was well stocked. Thank you for the bottle of wine, it was a nice surprise!

Very nice cottage. The owners informed us of what to expect the entire time we were there and we were lucky enough to meet them. It was four of us and plenty of room. The views from the dining room at meal times were amazing .

Great home base! We loved staying at the Cliff House. It felt like home away from home. Wonderful first visit to the finger lakes!

Us and four close friends came together at Cliff House for a lovely week.
Cliff House was relaxing and the six of us, all adults, were comfortable. All furniture, appliances and bathrooms are clean and in great shape. The deck offered a nice outdoor space overlooking the lake and had plenty of seating.
Steps leading to the lake were sturdy and well maintained. Not to mention good exercise. Lakeside had a nice large fire pit with chairs and bench for all of us and more. Canoe, Kayaks and plenty of floating devices added water fun when weather was in our favor.
It was a great place for the six of us and next time we head up to FLX with 4 to 6 we will look to revisit Cliff House.

This is probably the best location (in my opinion) on Seneca Lake. The spot is close to National Forest shore and the neighbors are quiet and low key. The layout of the house really showcases the lake and the beautiful connection to nature.

We loved this house and it's proximity to lots of great attractions (Watkins Glen, Corning Glass Museum, Robert Treman State Park, Ithica/Cornell Botanical Gardens, and tons of wineries. The house was comfortable, with beautiful views of the lake.

Relaxing trip to Lake Seneca in a home that is very secluded and private.

Perched high above the lake with lovely view and secluded beach. We had a lovely stay and no problems.

The location of this home is unique, private, fun, memorable! We easily entered the home and were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine! What a great start to our week of wine tasting and touring. Home was comfortable with lots of extras. So great to have 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The view of Seneca Lane from the deck takes your breath away. Wonderful R&R❤️

This was a wonderful stay for my family, and just what we needed! After my cancer relapsed last February and enduring high-dose chemo and stem cell transplants, we really wanted to go on a family vacation, but have a quiet vacation, not amidst the hustle and bustle of hotels. This house was perfect for us and felt like our private haven! We got to take some time to breathe near the water as a family. The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance we could've wanted. The grill was a great amenity, too, as we love grilling. The view from the patio was simply stunning. We sent our family members photos of the sunsets and they couldn't believe our gorgeous view. The fact that the owners made their boathouse available to us with kayaks, canoe, and various life jackets was next level for our kids. The private dock was enjoyed by our family every evening, and was a wonderful place for solitude (as was the patio on the house). The chairs on the dock were a great touch, as was the furniture on the patio! This property is about a 15-20 minute drive to Watkins Glen. There are many wineries to visit in this area and one next door. The owners left a bottle of wine, which was very kind. We'd love to stay here again the next time we're in this area! Thank you, Paul and Elisabeth, for making our stay hospitable. We've made many wonderful and treasurable memories as a family!

My wife and I had never been to the finger lakes before nor have we ever rented a house before. The home was beautiful and well maintained. The others were courteous and left us plenty of information about the area, which was extremely helpful since we had no prior knowledge. I would definitely recommend staying at the Cliff House!

Property was just as listed. Very clean and well stocked with necessities. Location is perfect for visiting the wine country of the New York Finger Lakes region. Would absolutely use this property again.

The Cliff House was so relaxing & peaceful! Beth & Paul are wonderful hosts. I've never stayed at a place that provides so much for their guests. It was like staying at a friend's house. We loved it! Thank you, again!!

We’ve been visiting the Finger Lakes region for nearly 20 years. This was the first time we actually stayed at a property ON a lake…couldn’t have asked for a more amazing house. The Cliff House had everything we needed. From the coffee maker, to the bottled drinking water, to the very clean gas grill, it was more than stocked for our stay. I know many people say they’ll be back someday, but I’m telling you…I’m already looking at dates for next year!

We had a blast! We had terrific sunsets and great weather to enjoy them on the patio. This home is located in the middle of local activities: wineries, breweries, waterfalls, fruit & vegetable stands, etc. The hosts provided all of the necessities for a wonderful stay, including a bottle of wine from a local winery. We can’t wait to return.

Cliff House is a lovely property. Views from the deck westward over the lake offer amazing sunsets. Cozy, well appointed cottage. Location on the east side allows for many wine and brewery visits, hiking trails and short trip to Ithaca for nightlife
Thanks so much. See you next year.

3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Wonderful kitchen, dining room and living room area. Beautiful view from dining & living room overlooking the lake. Nice area at the dock to relax. This was our 2nd consecutive year at the Cliff House and extended the stay an extra day. Already booked for next year.

We enjoyed our stay at the Cliff House. The view from the front porch was breathtaking! The house is nicely decorated and had everything we needed during our stay. The only things we noticed that prevented a 5 star rating were a musty smell inside the house and the 3-car, 6-person limit for overnight guests which prevented our son from being able to stop for the night on his way home from an out of state trip.

Clean, well-maintained, very comfortable. Lots of kitchen equipment and the bottled water containers were more than adequate. We had no problem with the graveled road BTW. Sunset views were spectacular. Very convenient to wineries and Watkins Glen.

Cliff House offered the ideal location between Watkins Glen and Seneca Fall to enjoy a full range of activities. From hiking nearby trails in the forest, chasing waterfalls, and visiting the Women's Rights Historical Park and Hall of Fame, the location was perfect.

We had a nice visit in spite of the rainy weather. This is a beautiful place to enjoy kayaking, hiking, wine and brew tastings. The sunsets and water birds are worth watching.

Wow! What a wonderful property. Beautifully appointed, private, relaxing and ideally located. The best lake house rental property that we've yet experienced. We look forward to returning again in the future.

Great location, with great views, and Betsy was super helpful and responsive!

This is a small house, master bedroom has a private bathroom, the other bathroom is shared. Beds were comfortable. Dining area and deck with great views of the lake. A bit retro (no dishwasher, air conditioning). The owners should be encouraged to fix the bumpy one-lane gravel road that snakes down 1/4 mile from 414 and can scrape the bottom of your car. Hosts are very responsive.
