As the evening progresses into night, “upper King St” from Calhoun Street to Spring Street comes alive with boisterous visitors and locals. Stars Rooftop Bar and Cocktail Club are local favorites. For a lower tempo experience, the Market Pavilion Rooftop and The Rooftop Bar at Vendue Inn offer excellent views of the Holy City and all her sky reaching church steeples.
Following an evening out, a day at the spa & salon is another convenient option for The Marsh House guests. The luxury spa & salon, STOX & CO., is located on Coleman Boulevard just 5 minutes away and you and your guests receive an exclusive offer with your rental of The Marsh House. Whether you were reading a book in the hammock, working at the table locate in the screened in porch, watching a movie in the living room, out napping in one of the spacious bedrooms, you were comfy. This home was perfect for our family and large enough for everyone (those that stayed at hotels) to come visit.

The house is conveniently located for a large family or group of friends that wants to stay near to and visit/explore Charleston. We arrived promptly at check in time and met a friendly woman inside the home who was wrapping up cleaning. During our stay we had an issue with a slow moving drain in an upstairs bathroom which the owner responded to promptly by sending out a plumbing company to fix even though it was on New Year’s Day. Our family’s suggestion would be to list the property as a four bedroom home as one bedroom appears to be a loft and is not suitable for two adults to sleep in due to room size. Despite the bedroom concern, we had more than enough room for eating and lounging together. Hotel rooms versus VRBO homes are usually more updated/refreshed but as a family we like that that this home kept our family altogether in one living space which is impossible if we had booked hotel rooms.

Our party of 8 had a wonderful time staying at this house. It’s very spacious and perfect for larger groups. The neighborhood is great and very quiet. The view from the back of the house at sunrise and sunset is beautiful!

The marsh view of this property eclipses the fact that the house is only used for rentals and has some flaws that would probably be corrected by an owner who was sometimes in residence. I commend the management though. A slow moving bathroom drain was corrected quickly once we asked. And when we were concerned about unexpected heat under the kitchen sink and in the dishwasher that had not been run, the property manager sent out a handyman to verify that there wasn’t a big problem. It turned out that the HVAC had ductwork in the space under this area and that was causing the warmth. We would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect place to host family and guests during the five days we spent there for my nephew's wedding. It was large enough to house my immediate family and host the extended family as they came into the Mt. Pleasant area. It was very peaceful looking out over the marsh and watching the wildlife there. My family would highly recommend this facility .

We were in town for Ring Weekend at The Citadel. This house was perfect for us. It was so quiet. You had no idea you were in Mt Pleasant. Very relaxing! The home was well stocked with everything we needed. No complaints at all!

We recently moved from Old Village to Va and were back in town for a funeral. The home was perfect for our needs. The views are lovely and the architecture of the home is perfect for a small but multi-family gathering like ours. The only caveat is the home is in need of updating (carpet etc). It is such a fabulous home - it deserves to be updated. That said, we would rent it again as needs arise.

8 friends gathered at Marsh House for three nights and had the best time. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean and the views were amazing. The kitchen is well appointed with lots of dishes and cutlery and plenty of dining space. The family room is cozy with lots of seating and we all loved sitting on the decks and rocking in the sun. We'd love to rent it again for next year's conference. Many thanks.

We loved this house and all its charm. The location was great, quiet and close to a lot. There was 8 of us and we fit perfectly in this home with room to spare. My favorite part was waking up in the morning and sitting on the back deck, with the sun shining, overlooking the marsh.
In addition to the space being exactly what we needed, Luiz was absolutely amazing to work and communicate with. I highly recommend this house to anyone.
