The property exceeded our expectation!! and the owner were amazing, reachable at all times! quick to response all our needs! u dont have to go anywhere to see bears in the wild! they were just around the property! rate 1-10 is the highest, ill say perfect 10! we surely book this again next time! My daughter’s bday celebration was definitely memorably amazing!

Property is exactly as listed. Beautiful home. Property manager was great, she responds to messages very quickly. No issues at all, this property was in excellent condition, very clean has absolutely everything you will need. Highlight of the trip was seeing four bears, one mama and three cubs, right on the road of this property. For anyone that might be concerned about this, don’t be, they wanted nothing to do with us, were just looking for food and ignored us 😁

We enjoyed our stay and had a great Thanksgiving celebration. The cabin was awesome. Just a couple things that could be better: pool sticks- need a short stick due to walls around pool table; floor vent covers not secured.

We were very excited to stay in this house with so much to do. When we arrived, we found mouse droppings in most of the rooms and the theater room had food and drinks spilled in the chairs. The owner responded quickly and had someone come and clean within an hour. Having 3 small children who would be on the floor playing, we vacuumed and mopped the entire house. She refunded our cleaning fee at that time. We enjoyed watching the bears who visited everyday. There was a mama bear with 3 cubs that were adorable to watch. We even had a bear open my car door and get into my console to get to salt and pepper!! Thankfully no damage to my car! The only other thing we needed were more bowls in the kitchen. There was not enough to go around for meals. Overall, we had a great time and felt the owner was responsive to our needs.

This was our first visit to Tennessee and we had amazing time! The chalet is modern with a rustic decor. Spending quality time together was no problem here! The games, theater, and hot tub kept everyone entertained when we were relaxing in the evening. The rooms were spread out giving everyone privacy and space to rest for the next day.

Absolutely loved staying here! The property is quite close to downtown Gatlinburg, but up in the mountains enough that you don't have noise or traffic around you. The property is wonderful. The views from the two back porches are amazing--you don't get mountain valleys but you do get some mountains tops and amazing sunrises. Watching the sunrise from the hot tub is a must do. We had a slight plumbing issue while we were there, which was 100% beyond the hosts control, but when we notified her she replied back instantly and worked hard to get a plumber out ASAP. She stayed in contact with us while trying to find a plumber after 7pm on a Friday night when she was notified, until after the plumber left the following morning. I couldn't have asked for a better host response and reaction to an unexpected and unavoidable issue. I am absolutely looking forward to coming back one year in the spring so we can see the bears!

This cabin was amazing, and the owners were WONDERFUL. It is located very close to the Parkway. We got several food deliveries with no problem. Be ready for several steep inclines headed to it. They gave a few people in our group a little anxiety, because they're so steep and sharp. Theater Room doesn't work well for watching tv/movies. The speakers go in and out. The owners were wonderful with communicating and helping with any issue we had. Definitely recommend.

This was the perfect location to gather with family and friends. There are countless things to do in the area including hiking in Great Smoky Mountains National park and a myriad of family friendly activities in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The house was very clean and comfortable. There were a few minor maintenance things to be addressed, but they did not interfere with the overall positive experience.

My family of 4 adults and 2 kids really enjoyed our stay. Saw some black bears walk by, sat in the hot tub to relax and later watched some movies to top off the day in the big movie room. Short distance to Ober Gatlinburg, which we visited. Parked in their parking lot at the top of the mountain and then rode the tram down which dropped us in the heart of Gatlinburg.

We stayed with our entire family (12) it was wonderful. The kids loved the hot tub and theater room. Within 30min of unpacking our cars a bear came right up to the house and front door! It was such a fun experience for us all.

Nice clean and comfortable cabin for our 3 adults and 2 teens. Convenient to Gatlinburg Parkway. Saw several bears. Plenty of kitchen supplies, blankets and towels. Updated appliances. Nice theatre and game rooms and hot tub. Did not use the entrance patio area.

Our experience was really nice for spring break. Comfortable beds. Clean. Location to Gatlinburg was perfect! Hot tub needs attention with cleanliness. Air hockey game didn’t work but we enjoyed the pool table more. Theatre room was very enjoyable. Very nice!

We came as a family for our family Christmas and it was wonderful! The cabin was Beautiful and well furnished. The ober going over at night lit up was absolutely beautiful! Our only regret was not seeing any bears as they were hybernating I'm sure. We had a couple bumps in the road with our cabin upon arrival due to previous snow storm but Jan was GREAT as helping out with making sure our trip was a success. She and Mike are great owners and email you back promptly with any issues. I'll just have to say she went above and beyond and we would stay in another one of their cabins any day! Their cabins are beautiful! We enjoyed our stay and the kids had a wonderful Christmas!

This is a comfortable little cabin in the woods with a view of the tram. The game room and theater room are nice and it was nice to have the extra bedroom and full size laundry downstairs! The owners are super friendly and helpful!

Overall our experience was fairly good with this property. We did have a few complaints and concerns. The outside furniture appeared to be old and in poor condition. Several of the rocking chairs were broke and could not be used. Also, the railing on the deck on the main floor did not seem very stable or safe. I would not recommend letting small kids go on the deck alone because it’s extremely steep. Our third night there I decided to wash a load of clothes. When I went to put them in the dryer, it would not come on. I text the owner and she did respond within 30 mins and told us we had to push the door in when we hit the start button. It wasn’t a big deal, but I wish we would have known this before we hung up all of our wet clothes to dryWe also had issues with the plumbing. The toilets did not flush properly and the sinks did not drain. I contacted the owner about this and I never received a response. We also had a TON of tiny millipedes all over the house, especially in the downstairs area. I even found one in our bed one morning! I would recommend pest control because we also found several spiders. I completely understand that we were in the middle of the mountains, so some insects are expected. Our kids loved the game room and theater room! This was a huge plus for our family and made up for some of the issues we had. I feel like overall the house needs more upkeep and deep cleaning.

I loved staying at this location. My 10yr old and 4 yr old had the best time with the games. The got tub was also a favorite. Every night was spent in the theatre watching movies, cuddled up. We played pool and bear-watched from our balcony. If any problem arose, Jan took care of it IMMEDIATELY. I really have no complaints. Everything was addressed and answered within moments if me asking. We would rent this cabin again.

The property itself is great and location is also great but i would suggest using a different cleaning company. Dishwasher was full of dishes, shower curtain and master tub was not properly clean, sofa pillows are stained, very dusty, dirt in corners, patio full of leaves and linings need to be replaced. They are old and worn out. Beds and pillows are super comfortable. Plug ins would be great because it smelled of old mop. I would stay here again due to price and location.

Jan and mikes house was very accommodating. Parking was a little tight, we had 4 pick ups and a 4Runner. As most houses in that area parking is about the same. One of the rocking chairs were broken when we arrived but one call to Jan and she had someone out the next day and repaired it in no time. Overall it was a great stay. I appreciate the quick response and great communication with Jan and Mike.
