About this apartment rental
Relax and enjoy the Ten Mile Range and beautiful Lake Dillon from our spacious and comfortable two bedroom condominium at Lake Cliffe, situated in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. Our condo is located in the town of Dillon, 75 miles west of Denver via I-70, in the center of Summit County Ski Country.
Four major ski areas are just minutes away: Keystone, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, and Copper Mountain. Vail and Beaver Creek are less than an hour's drive. Winter in Summit County offers downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and ice skating.
There are restaurants, bars, and entertainment within walking distance of the condo, including a local brewery (Pug Ryan's), great BBQ (Arapahoe House) and bowling (Lakeside Bowl). Additional restaurants and stores are just a short drive away. The Summit Stage Shuttle stops a block from the condo and provides free transportation to the ski resorts and to the expansive Silverthorne Factory Outlet Mall down the road.
Our summertime guests enjoy our convenient location, just above Lake Dillon at the Marina end of the lake. It's a three-minute walk to the Marina for access to the boating, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and water-taxi service and to the water-side Tiki Bar, a great place to stop for a snack and cold beverage. The mountain views from the lake are some of the most spectacular in Colorado! A newly renovated amphitheater on Lake Dillon, featuring free concerts on weekends during summer months, and the Summit County bike path are also within walking distance of the condo. Summer in Summit County provides a wide range of other recreation and cultural activities that are accessible near the condo, including tennis, golf, hiking, rafting, fishing on lakes and streams, art shows, and film festivals.

Great location with a partial view of lake. Just a short walk to the lake and amphitheater making for a lot of quick enjoyment.

This condo is well laid out with good privacy between each sets of beds and baths. Doors close off each "suite" both from each other and the main living space. Living space is comfortable, nice view of the lake and nice upgrade to the kitchen with the new oven/range. The best part might be the super short walk to the clubhouse, it is directly across the parking lot, maybe a 30 second walk which comes in handy when coming back from the hot tubs! Nice to be able to walk to restaurants as well and easy access to Frisco/70 West by cutting across the dam.

This is in a great location if you are seeing a concert at the Dillion amphitheater. The hosts were very communicative and great to work with. We will be back!!

Liked condo overall, disappointed that laundry was not in condo but was a shared in basement and requires coins.
Lots of kitchen utensils but someone had taken spatulas, so none available.
Bathroom tub in bed room extremely slow draining.
No batteries in remote in same bedroom. Called about it but no response. All this stuff is minor but kept us from a 5 star rating.

You can not beat the location. We wanted to be right by the lake and walkable to the park and places to eat. We have little kids so weren’t looking for anything fancy and this was perfect for us. The pool across the street was great for the kids! Great communication with the owner when we had a question. Will definitely look into coming back!

Had a great stay. Space was nice and very spacious. We had a change of plans so it was just my hubby and I. The area was fabulous and so close to everything. The views of lake Dillion were spectacular.
The only issue was a tick on the bedding. It was dead and there were no others in or around the beds. I’m from Colorado and been in the mountains plenty so it’s very understandable. My advice check the bedding before getting in to bed.
Over all we were impressed and have discussed renting this property again in the future.

Great area, condo needs updated.
We love the area and have stayed in the area several times at different condos. As it said in other reviews the place needs updated. Carpet in bathrooms is kind of gross even our kids were questioning it. The location is great though, safe area, easy to get to and from the ski resorts, shopping, and dining areas.

It was ok
It was the cheapest we found, which is appropriate. Layout is great, as is location. Carpeted bathrooms and very well worn couch made it hard to get too comfortable. Uncomfortable pillows and VERY loud heater made for three sleepless nights by everyone. We felt rushed to get out with all the texts and messages to let them know if we leave so they can come clean. They also had inconsistent instructions on leaving so checkout was confusing.

Terrific Stay!
We greatly enjoyed our stay in Dillon. The condo was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen was well-stocked, and oils and spices were available. Dining table was large and allowed for family meals and games. Locat up n was phenomenal, with access to skiing and also walking on the trail around the lake. We hope to rent here again!

Great location, clean, quiet neighborhood. All supplies were well stocked. Remember to take towels to the pool. Path around lake to run, walk and bike. Response time from owner was slow. Overall a really great experience.

This Cozy property is in a prime location - walk to Dillon Marina (rentals), Amphitheater, and farmers market on Friday. The other directions you have great dining, pubs, and a little frozen yogurt place, and it's right across the lot from the pool and hot tub. You couldn't ask for a better location. The condo itself is comfortable and clean and has everything you might need. Beautiful area and 2nd floor balcony with a great view of a courtyard area with the lake behind. I agree with previous reviews - the only thing that wasn't perfection is the carpeted bathrooms (and everything that comes with carpeted bathrooms). We actually ended up closing the door to one and just used the fresher one.

Perfect for us!
Prior to booking this listing, I read many of the comments from previous visitors. They are all very accurate. It is very spacious, the location is great, The beds were comfortable and it was fully stocked with anything we needed. The only concerns that others might have, is that it is dated, and there is carpet in the bathrooms. With that being said, the positives of this property definitely outweigh any concerns. If you want a 5 Star resort ..... this is not the place for you, . If you are not a snob then it is amazing!! I would stay here again and I would purchase this property if the opportunity was presented.

Overall Great Stay-One Little Thing
Pool/Hot tub is now open 9-6p (not 5p)-we always went right at 9 and had the place to ourselves, late afternoon gets busy and groups do wait. We had read in previous reviews about nails sticking up between kitchen and living area, that still hasn’t been addressed-got my feet:( glad it wasn’t my kids! We had to move a rug over the area to avoid.

Convenient but worn out
The location is good. The unit is spacious but very worn out and it was not clean when we arrived. We had to clean the counters and vacuum the unit ourselves. Thankfully we brought a lot of disinfecting wipes. The carpet is threadbare in places and the exposed screws tore my son's socks. The lights over the peninsula did not work and the steam bath did not work. We told the manager about the lights and got no response. We are not fancy people but we do expect a place to be clean and in good repair even if it is old.

Lots of room for a family of 4!
Our stay was during the COVID-19 pandemic, and on our first night there all restaurants were ordered to close dine in and all shopping was closed. Thankfully, this condo was perfectly located for so many outdoor activities! My husband and son went ice fishing, and caught several rainbow trout which we cooked for dinner that night. Having the fully stocked kitchen really saved our trip! We enjoyed having the puzzles to work on, and there was so much space that we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other the whole time. We ended up cutting our Colorado trip short (government mandates to close all hotels & VRBO’s) but we definitely plan on coming back!

Great place to stay
We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great - right on Dillon reservoir. Easy access to trails, restaurants, and a playground less than a block away. It was nice to sit on the deck each morning and look out at the water.

From Orlando FL to Dillon Co
It was wonderful place to stay. No complaints what so ever. Dillon CO was a great place to escape the heat of Orlando, FL. Lots to do - bike rentals, hiking, train rides. We went early June and the temperature was 65, but felt warm. Loved being so close to the Dillon Reservoir a fes steps away.

Great Stay in Summit County!
We had a great stay in Summit County by lodging at this centrally located condo in Dillon. We enjoyed cross-country skiing in Frisco, downhill skiing at Keystone and Vail, as well as great meals in Dillon and Frisco. The condo is exactly as pictured; although it was much more roomy than the photos can really show. It is very convenient to the condo's community hot tub/pool, which we used - and the hot tubs were HOT! Kitchen was well-stocked, although we only ate a light breakfast and made lunches to take with us as we enjoyed the area. I appreciate that the owner contacted us the day our rental started and we were able to coordinate getting into the unit a little early. Also really like the smaller details at the condo - like 4 luggage racks - so there were plenty for all of us! I hope to go back and stay in the summer when we could take advantage of the very nearby lake and all that has to offer.

Beautiful views & Perfect locations
We stayed here over Labor Day Weekend and it was just perfect! It’s perfectly situated just steps from Lake Dillon and numerous things to do (playground, amphitheater, marina, tiki bar, city square, etc). Breath taking views, spacious but also cozy! The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels, laundry in the condos basement, etc. The decor may be a little out dated but the positives of the condo out weighed this! Will definitely stay here again :)

Great Condo!
This condo was perfect for our family of 6! Everything was clean and comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed, plus more. The patio was simple, but a great place to sit out and enjoy the lovely weather. We enjoyed the clubhouse pool and spa and walking down to the playground and amphitheater. We would love to stay here again!

Great views and access to the water
We really enjoyed our stay in Dillon. The property was cozy, well kept and fit 4 of us perfectly. Tho location was great and we took advantage of the short walk to the amphitheater to take in a couple of free concerts. The only thing that I would mention is that we were not aware that it was a second floor unit (maybe I missed reading it in the description). We had brought up our kayak and paddleboards which there was plenty of room to store on the patio. However, since it was on the second floor, we had to get a bit creative in order to get them up to the unit.

Good experience
Clean, spacious, nice view of Dillon lake and the mountains. Directions and entry instructions were clear and helpful. Everything worked in the kitchen.

The unit is really in need of upgrades, no washer or dryer, steam bath not hooked up, etc.
We love the location of these condos and have stayed in other units. The unit needs updating. When you turn on a light switch in bedrooms nothing happens. Switches don’t hook to anything. Half the outlets in the guest room didn’t work. Master bathroom shower didn’t drain well. Also what looks like a steam bath wasn’t hooked up. The fireplace has not been converted to gas, so it also is more trouble to take time to start a fire. I should have read the description better in regards to washer and dryer, but I made an assumption based on other units I stayed in at this complex. A washer and dryer is something I really appreciate in a unit, especially a dryer after skiing all day. Again I still love this location in Dillon, however this unit needs to update before we come back.

Nice stay over New Years
First, the level of attention from the owner(s) is very very good. We had a couple of questions and received immediate response from one of them both times. The decor of unit is very nice. My husband notices that every rental we stay in has the classic crossed skies on the wall, he hates them. This unit did not and in fact it was very nicely done. Beds were nice, lots of pots and pans and a convenient location. Good place to stay.
