This house was so cozy! We loved the wooded view from the patio. Everything we wanted for a beach trip is in the house, from beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, etc. Bikes are in the house too with a beautiful bike trail just a block away. Tennis and pickle board across the street. And board games on hand as well. We had a great time!

This house had it all. It truly felt like we were staying at a friends house, not a vacation rental. They have all you need in the kitchen as well as books, games, bikes, sports equipment, etc. We had an absolute blast with our four kids. We hope to be back!

A wonderfully equipped home away from home with pretty much everything you may need from sports and beach equipment to a kitchen lacking nothing. Rustic look with modern conveniences. Wonderful

My husband and I recently retired and enjoyed a full month at this lovely home! Woodchip was the most well appointed rental we have ever had, and being right on the Cape Cod Rail Trail was perfect for daily rides. Cape breezes kept us cool most days, but when the temps heated up the A/C upstairs and down was a welcome relief. Communication with the owner was outstanding! Comfortable beds; spacious living area, well equipped kitchen and a huge deck in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. What more could you ask for?!

We had a wonderful time at the Bayside Brewster Home. The residence was exceptionally roomy, immaculate, fully furnished, and beautifully adorned. It ranked among the most delightful vacation homes we've ever experienced. The host was highly responsive and accommodating. We would absolutely return.

We loved our stay- it was great being close to the bike trail and so nice having on-site bikes. The host was friendly and available to help and answer questions- and gave great recommendations of nearby restaurants and things to do.
If you have little ones bring gates- the stair are open-
Beautiful home in a nice and quiet neighborhood.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Woodchip. The location was excellent, very near the rail trail, with tennis/pickle ball and bocce courts right across the street. The home was well equipped and very comfortable. We made good use of the private deck and outdoor shower.

Great Cape Vacation
Loved this Cape Cod rental for our July 4th vacation week. Located in a nice and quiet neighborhood not far from several beautiful beaches. The house was great and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. No AC as clearly stated in listing but plenty of fans and we loved sleeping with the open windows and fresh air. I grew up on Cape Cod but recently moved to Florida and it was so wonderful to come back and share with my family.

Woodchip
The property was in a great location, close to other family members who live in Seaview as well as to beaches, shopping and activities. I loved having the rail trail just outside our door. The property was a good size and well stocked. My only problem was the lack of air conditioning. Only two of the three bedrooms on the second floor had a window unit air conditioner, which made the third bedroom unusable. The main floor of the house had no air conditioning at all. It was quite hot most of the time. It would have been helpful if these details were included in the description of the property.

Such a great time!!
We loved the property! The house is lovely, has a fantastic deck, tennis courts across the street and the CCRT for biking just steps away!
Our family enjoyed their stay and took full advantage of the tennis courts and bike trail (bikes provided by host). The area is lovely and centrally located on the Cape!
Would definitely recommend this lovely home!

Perfect for our family (including 2 young grandkids)
We loved our stay at Woodchip! The house was clean, spacious, nicely decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed. There were bikes, beach toys, even a bike trailer for the little kids to ride attached to parents' bike! We love to cook and found the kitchen to have all the equipment we needed. Thanks so much - we are already dreaming about coming back next year.

Great house in a perfect location on the Cape! So close to everything! Our family really enjoyed the bike path and tennis courts so close to the house. Plenty of beaches within a short drive or bike ride away. The house had everything we could ask for! Our family of 5 had plenty of space and really appreciated the 2 full bathrooms and stocked kitchen. It was great we didn’t have to bring bikes and beach gear the house had all we needed! Would highly recommend this property. Nina the owner was great to deal with and quick to respond to any questions.

We had a fantastic week. The house was well equipped and right by the cycle path which was great. We enjoyed BBQs on the deck, swimming in the sea, playing tennis on the court and exploring Cape Cod by car. Highly recommended!

Another wonderful stay at Woodchip
This was our second year in a row that we have stayed at Woodchip, and we had another wonderful time. The home is very well appointed, airy, and comfortable. We would highly recommend this home for others.

Highly recommended comfortable home
The net is that we really felt comfortable at Woodchip. We cooked nearly every night at the house and were very pleased with the fully equiped kitchen. There was a handheld mixer, a mini food processor, and bbq grill which we actually used. Those are not things that we have found at other house rentals. The house was larger than we expected and felt very spacious. We felt relaxed in the evening watching Netflix on the couch after spending time at the nearby beaches.
While we did walk to the Crosby Lane beach one day, it took us about 35 minutes. But we knew that it would take a while, but just wanted to point out the walking time. Plus, while Brewster is a very nice area, it does not have the traditional main street experience like Chatham or the over the top Provincetown.
But we are very grateful to the owners because we had a family emergency during our originally scheduled rental period and even though the contract was very clear that they required a 60 day notice of any changes, they were extremely kind to offer us an alternative rental period. So, they were both very responsive and generous.
We would highly recommend others to rent this house.

Great summer rental
We recently stayed at woodchip in August. The home exceeded all expectations. The online pictures do not do thee home justice. The owners Nina and Christa were so helpful, professional, and kind. They responded promptly to all questions. The home is so welcoming and does not feel like a rental. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you could want. Downstairs were well kept bikes to access the bike trail, a ton of beach supplies and plenty of linens. The neighborhood is quiet, but close to all local attractions. I would highly recommend this home and look forward to renting in the future.

Cosy break over Thanksgiving
Just returned from a wonderful few days away over Thanksgiving, really loved the house. Warm, welcoming, homely; great kitchen with loads of kit for cooking. There were 5 of us staying there, lots of space, books to read, games to play. Weather was rather wild and cold but the house was warm and cosy - we lit the fire in the evenings and lounged around. The location is great - we walked along the bike path opposite into Nickerson State Park, hiked in the park, absolutely beautiful. Beaches close by, lots of little places to eat at too. Owners were really easy to deal with, quick to respond. Highly recommend the place. We will come back again (need to try out the body boards next time!)

Simply great !!!
First of all, house is bigger and have more space than pictures show.
A really good point, because it is usually the opposite with rental announces and photos.
Owner react just perfectly when we contact them because cleaning company didn't come before our arrival. They did the maximum to mission an other company right away and offer us an extra night with sincere apologies. We really felt that enjoying our stay at their house at Woodchip was important to them and this is particularly rare to be mention here.
Overall our stay was perfect. A ideal house for families with everything you need to cook, nice bikes and plenty of toys for beach fun.
Neighborhood is quiet, very green and nice, close to shops and beaches.
Definitely a place we will consider when will come the time to book our next trip to Cape Cod.

Perfect for cycling, swimming, reading
We loved the warm family mood of this traditional wooden house on the edge of the woods. The open living room was a lovely space to flop down with a book while the deck was perfect for outdoor eating (except in the evening when the bugs were biting). The owners keep a fleet of good bicycles in the basement - perfect for cycle trips down the railway bike trail that runs virtually past the front door. The bikes are also useful for reaching to nearby beaches, ponds and national parks - much better than driving on crowded roads. The kitchen is very well equipped and the owners are friendly and efficient when it comes to the booking arrangements.

Far exceeded expectation !
The house was so crazy and inviting!
Provodided all the amenities needed. Really enjoyed the location and town. Conveinent to have 2 full bathrooms. The picture don't give enough credit for everything the house is and provides. Owner was a pleasure to communicate with. Can't say enough good things about our stay!

Beautiful home on Cape Cod
We stayed in Woodchip for a 3-day weekend in Cape Cod. It is such a lovely house, I loved the decor and openness, which made me feel very at home. We especially loved the deck surrounded by trees and the hammock in the front yard! The neighborhood is quiet, with easy access to a bike/running trail, shops, and restaurants. It was so appreciated that they provide all linens and towels, especially since we got there by plane and didn't want to pack all that! The clean up process was extremely easy and the owners are very easy to work with. I definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely Brewster Home for the Family to Enjoy
We loved this house and we loved the location in Brewster! If you like to be active, this is a great location! There is tennis courts right across the street, and the bike path is across the street. We rode our bikes everywhere! It is a great central location! Food store a few blocks away.
We loved the loft style and openness of the house! Kitchen was large and adequately supplied. Beds were comfortable. I really appreciated the owners making us feel like guests in their house. They supplied sheets, towels, beach towels so we did not have to pack all that.
One suggestion would be to bring your own DVD's. They have a DVD player but no movies. I would definately stay here again in the future.

Excellent base for exploring Cape Cod
We stayed here with our 4 Teenage Children. A lovely property ... really well situated. Very quiet backing on to woodland, and 25 m from the main bike trail. We all enjoyed the trail thanks to the great bikes that the property has available for guests. There is also a top quality tennis court opposite the house that guests are free to use. So bring racquets if you are a keen player (there are some provided at the property too). House was exceptionally clean when we arrived - with plenty of supplies. BBQ very good on back deck.

Wonderful family rental home in a great location!
We love Woodchip! We are regular summer renters of this fantastic home. The house is clean, airy and we really like the post and beam look. The house layout works extremely well for our family. The patio offers a great place to dine and best of all it is shaded by surrounding trees. The wifi and having 2 full/nice bathrooms are especially useful for our family. The location is the best - close to beaches, next to bike trail, tennis court across the street, 5 minutes to Nickerson State Park and easy access to all of the lower and outer cape. The owners are a pleasure to rent from and are very helpful. Overall we highly recommend this home!

Home Sweet Home!
We spent 4 nights, during the labor day weekend at the Chipwood and WE-LOVED-IT!. We couldn’t have had a better place to stay. The house was so cozy filled with love and warmth. It had what every family would want - music system, TV/movies, video games, books, fireplace, grill and more. The kitchen is fully equipped with whatever a family would need including kitchen supplies. There are two full bathrooms, one on each floor, that has a chute that connects to the washing machine in the basement, which, believe me, made getting laundry done so easy. There’s a tennis court right across the street that we were able to use almost every day. The bike trail is so close from the house that you can see it from the door step. They have so many bikes in the basement (including ones for youths) that we were able to use. They have a nice table in the patio which was a perfect set up for grilling. There are so many beaches close by (Nauset, Skaket). However the main beaches were closed due to a shark sighting. Crosby’s lane is a nice beach, which was very close from Chipwood (abt 1 mile away) which was perfect. Ensure you check the tide schedules before you hit the beach. We spent a whole day at this beach. In the basement there is ton of beach stuff that is available for use. The house is very close to stores like shaw’s, stop and shop, liquor stores and restaurants. Brewster itself is in a good spot – very close to Orleans and Eastham. We drove to Province town and did the whale watching one day, then one day to Haynnis for shopping and one day to Chatham. All these places have good bars and restaurants and places to shop. All in all cape cod was a great place and I definitely would recommend this property to anyone who is checking it out in vrbo.

We had not been to Cape Cod previously and Woodchip was the perfect place to stay on our trip. We found the property in an article on Cape Cod in The Daily Telegraph in the UK where it had recommended Woodchip as a place to stay. The house is set in lovely surroundings very near to the bike trail and a short cycle ride from the beaches with tennis courts available for use just opposite. The house itself is spacious and very well equipped and feels more like a home than rental accommodation. It was clean and well presented, in line with the description and photos on the website. Not only do the owners provide their guests with a great range of kitchen equipment, but also there are lots of personal touches which make it very special, such as the children's books on the bookshelves which our youngest boy loved. In the basement in addition to the washing machine and tumble drier, there are several bikes for use (including children's trailer) and plenty of beach stuff which we used all the time and which made our holiday great fun. The deck space out the back is also a brilliant place to eat - private but not closed in. The owner's have been prompt, friendly and courteous throughout the booking process providing clear and helpful advice. A great place to stay.

This house is located in a nice neighborhood setting, just across the street from the bike trail. The house has been well maintained and the kitchen was well appointed and seemed clean- as was the rest of the house. The owner(s) were readily available through email and helpful overall. There were some issues, however, that really took away from the overall enjoyment of this house- The interior was described (and pictured) as having an open floor plan. What was not pictured was a huge brick fireplace in the middle of the room between the kitchen and the living room that really divided the eating area from the living area. It was very imposing and left you with a 'closed in' feel. In addition, the eating table itself was very rickety and was accompanied by uncomfortable (and also rickety) chairs. The upstairs bathroom (which was not pictured), had a sloping ceiling right near the sink that we banged our heads on repeatedly throughout our stay- it was just about impossible to avoid. It's important to note that there was no air conditioning anywhere in the house and the upstairs would get very stuffy and hot during the day even with multiple fans on.
The BIGGEST issue however was the downstairs basement which contained the washer, dryer and bicycles. The smell down there was unbearable. The air was so incredibly musty and unbreathable that I could NOT enter that room. My husband was the only one who was able to go down there and do the wash. Whenever that door was opened, the smell would come into the rest of the house and all windows and doors needed to be opened to air it out. Another odor issue in this house was the couches- there was some type of floral scented cleaner that was used on them and this smell remained strong throughout the visit. I am not one to be sensitive to smells and have not had issues such as this before but I was truly unable to sit on this furniture.
The overall 'look' and location of this house were good but because of the issues mentioned, we would not be able to stay again.
