Nice, quiet property with a great view of Elmore Mtn. I rated cleanliness with 3 stars due to cobwebs on the light fixtures and in several corners, lots of dust build up on the bathroom light shades and doggy nose prints all over the glass to the rear deck and stains on the main floor bedroom carpet. As someone who used to own a cleaning service, I just thought that a little more attention to some of those details would be nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and we will probably stay there again when we visit home.

The property management handled a tough situation very well. The deck and view we’re spectacular. Unfortunately the home smelled of mildew and there was standing water in the basement/laundry room. Light fixtures were dirty. Stairs are treacherous for elderly or small children. The management company handled the situation promptly and helped us relocate.

Had a great time with my mom and dad on what may be our last ski trip together. Place was great and in a great location. Got a massive dump of fresh snow. Our driveway was plowed and our walks shoveled for us by a friendly crew. Would love to come back in the summer!

The house was very nice and comfortable, we loved the fireplace. Also close to town and other local points of interest, nothing was more than a 15 minute drive away. Would definitely stay here again

The property was just as it appeared online. It was clean and well-stocked when we arrived. The couch and the beds were comfortable, and sitting out on the deck was delightful. The coolness of the basement bedroom was our saving grace as there is no air conditioning in the cabin.

Th only drawback was stage road conditions and thank you for the warning of the miss. But very scary and not safe. Lucky we were ok.

Listing as described but shower is woefully inadequate if more than 1 person needs to use hot water. The house has an under powered on demand water heater. Otherwise place is as pictured.

Love this house!

We absolutely LOVE this cabin! Rustic but comfortable - it is exactly what we had hoped for! This log cabin has plenty of space with a loft on the 3rd level with a large bed and futon bed, master bedroom on the main level, and 3rd bedroom on the lower level. It was picture perfect for a Stowe Vermont weekend and very well stocked. Plenty of parking space. Nice view off the side of the house. We will definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay here. Cabin is smaller than pictures. It was great for the two of us. Neighborhood is very quiet. Quick drive to grocery store and downtown. Great location. We had everything we needed.

Perfect Getaway

Just what we needed to getaway from it all. Great location just enough that your are alone but close enough to town for all your needs. Relaxing feel to the cabin, which was very clean and well equipped. Nice deck for morning coffee, afternoon bbq and an evening glass of wine while star gazing then continue to a cozy fire in the living room. Love this place.

Loved staying in twilight woods ! The house was impeccable and the accommodations very comfortable . Had a blast exploring Stowe. I think this would be a great place to stay during any season . My only rec would be to provide a recycle bin next to the trash can.

This was the perfect house to rent for a weekend with a group of friends who wanted to spend time doing fall things and catch up with one another. Perfect location close to town and all the restaurants, breweries and activities Stowe has to offer, but also just far enough into the woods to feel like an escape. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. We loved making a fire every night and especially enjoyed to views of the fall foliage.

Really liked this place, Vermont summer was very hot and this place needs a couple Dehumidifiers as the house was very musty and bedding was almost moist. Some appliances are due for replacement. Overall we enjoyed the deck and grill and had a great week

This was the perfect place for us. We are 2 families 7 people total. Each family had its own space and bath. We has our Thanksgiving dinner there. It was nice to have such a well supplied kitchen. We Loved the small hill out front and the sleds. We found the fireplace was very nice as long as we had a flame, but when there was not a good flame the smoke came into the room. Not enough draft for it. Other than that all was very good. Everyone was pleased.

The cabin is cute and was nice and clean. My main issue was communication with the office. We arrived on Saturday and on Monday I called the office to let them know the jacuzzi tub would not turn on (no power when button pushed to V start jets). I was told that a gentleman would be coming by to fix shower door in main bathroom and that he’d look at jacuzzi tub while he was there. He came while we were out and the shower door was repaired but when we checked the tub, there was still no power to the motor. I called the office again on Tuesday and was told that they would contact the repair guy and find out what he found. I never received an update or a call after the conversation. If the motor has been non working I would’ve understood. But the lack of communication was just unnecessary. The first 3 nights we did use the fireplace but on the fourth evening we had a nice little fire going when about 40 minutes after starting it we noted the smoke roiling out, I removed the log from the grate and let the fire die out. I had to open windows to air out the cabin (and yes, the flue was open).

The place was clean and cozy and just enough off the beaten path to feel relaxed while at the same time being only a short trip into town. The cabin was as advertised and has a fully functional fireplace which was a must-have for us (there was some firewood but suggest bringing your own for a multi-night stay). Great for a smaller group or couple. Appreciative of the chance to stay here and nothing but great things to say about Stowe Country Homes whom the cabin was rented through. A great experience all around.

This house was everything I was hoping for for a ski weekend in Stowe with friends. The cozy log cabin feel and big fireplace was the perfect house for us! About a 20 minute drive to Stowe mountain with everything you would need right in town. The house was very clean and in great condition. Will definitely rent again!

This cabin is wonderful for a quick getaway! The Cabin is 20 minutes away from Stowe Ski lifts and is close to town- very easy to pick up groceries on your way home after a day of skiing. The cabin is clean and cozy, the kitchen has almost all the tools you may need to make dinner, however it does lack simple ingredients such as olive oil or salt for cooking. Another set back would be bathroom doors - they have awkward vents on them so it is very transparent between the person inside and the people in the living room or bedroom. So if you're going to stay in this cabin I highly suggest you are very comfortable with the people you're staying with because they will hear everything inside haha. Otherwise the cabin was wonderful with a full working fire place and all the board games you may every want to play.

Very enjoyable stay overall. House was very comfortable and nicely equipped. One major problem should be addressed; namely that the fireplace draws very poorly when lighting a fire, resulting in a significant amount of smoke in the house (yes, the damper was fully open). Once the fire is fully burning and the flue is heated up, it draws much better. I also wish a sharpening steel had been in the kitchen so we could have sharpened some of the chef's knives. Despite these issues I would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.

We enjoyed your property, great view from the outside deck, wonderfull for breakfast! The new kitchen is very nice, the only thing we forgot to say to the front desk was that the cupboard’s doors needed to be ajusted, my husband would have done it but did’nt have the appropriate tools. We had a great week! We would recommand it to our friends and even thinking of going again. Thank you
