About this cottage rental

A lovely 2 bedroom cottage, clean and well presented. Ideal for family, couples and fishing groups. Close base to the heart of Coromandel, beach, boat ramps golf course and parks.

The comfortable cottage has unlimited Wi-Fi, Sky TV/Sports and heat pump/air-conditioning. Bedroom 1 offers a queen bed and 2 singles, while room 2 a double. It has a self-catering kitchen with microwave, benchtop oven with 2 hot plate elements and all the utensils needed to cook up a storm. Your 4 burner BBQ is near your deck area where you can sit back and relax.

Ideal set up for those keen fishermen with ample flat parking, fish filleting table and smoke house, (see below). Hose down area for your boat also available.

Ideally located near Coromandel Township, less than 2 minutes drive to town, and a flat 10 minute stroll south east to Long Bay Beach and surrounding bush walks.

Hosts – Margaret and Kevin also live on site in a separate dwelling. They are quietly around and available if guests need assistance but are unobtrusive. Alternatively you can contact the manager of the property.

Smoke house is available for your use. There will be a small fee for this to cover expenses. Please see your hosts if you wish to use.

Our host was friendly and welcoming, and the batch was impeccably clean with all necessary amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and cosy bed sheets. We enjoyed the delicious bowl of feijoas provided. The only drawback for us, (who live in a remote area) was the noise from the nearby road. Something we are not used to.

A spacious and very clean property with everything we needed, included a washing machine. The bed was very comfortable and air conditioning kept the place cool in the 30C temperature. Easy access with parking next to the house. It was quiet and located close to the waterfront and a 20 minute to walk to Coromandel town which has some good restaurants.

The fishing was average, mainly due to the weather, but was more than made up for by the hospitality of the wonderful hosts. The accommodation was perfect for us, extremely well presented and fully equipped. Because we left early we didn’t get to say thank you to the hosts so Margaret if you get to read this then thanks so much for everything. Regards Peter, Reuben and Daniel.

Only a bike ride away from town and some beautiful bays/beach’s. Driving distance to the beaches north and east coastline. Margaret and Stoney were amazing friendly hosts who were a laugh a minute, yet don’t impede your personal space. Accommodation was comfortable and provided for all we needed. Will def be staying again

The place is very clean and tidy , had all we needed for our short stay away. Close to town and as we were having a fishing and relaxing weekend away this spot had all we needed as well as great fish cleaning facilities as well. Great location, great facilities and very clean, tidy and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped, comfy beds and furniture, great little deck. Sky TV a great bonus for the evenings. Best to be prepared that cellphone reception is poor and the WiFi is not much better unless you are sitting on the deck. Which is fine as long as you know that. Overall, a great place to stay.

Great location, cute cottage that suited our crew of 2x couples- fantastic value for money. Clean and tidy with the nicest hosts you’ll ever meet. Some of our crew went fishing and Stoney, the host with the most, smoked our fish for us with awesome smoker and knowledge. Really appreciate being able to stay at this little gem, like a home away from home, look forward to coming back.
